Not a Chapter: A New Journey

Hey guys, Reigokai here! 

It has been a while already, but some people are probably already aware… We are almost catching up with the raws of Weakest Mage. 

What does that mean? Obviously, a new journey! 

There were some sly ones who picked up on this and gave a few recommendations of their own. 

Well, this time around, I read a whole lot of stories beforehand and have already decided on one.

The story I have decided to translate is…

*Drum Roll*

—The Darkness was Comfortable for me—! 

I am not the best at pitching out a story, and I would like to avoid giving too much information, so I would like to point out the strongest points of this story in my opinion.

The Main Character’s growth is really great to watch, his gradual opening up with the people around him, and most of all this is a story where the MC’s actions are broadcasted to all the people on Earth, so it gives a different type of flavor while providing what’s my favorite part of the story which is the forum discussions, or Bulletin Boards. 

It starts like a dark fantasy, but I wouldn’t really call it one. 

For the ones wondering if it is a harem or not, I can’t tell for certain. Most are, and I think this one will be as well. Don’t take my word for granted though as I don’t really mind whichever way it rolls. 

Btw, there’s already a translation with 5 chapters, so if you want to check the first few chapters, you can go ahead. Just a heads up; there are several parts that are mistranslated. This is not me insulting anyone here, this story is pretty difficult to translate. Especially the Bulletin Board that has a lot of netspeak. So if possible, I would like you all to read my translation of it as well, even if you do intend to read those 5 chapters ahead of time since you might miss some details.

I myself will be translating everything from the very beginning, even the synopsis. I do prefer doing it this way.

So, I will leave the synopsis here, but if you don’t want to be “spoiled” for the first 4 chapters, maybe hold off on reading the synopsis a bit till you get there?

Synopsis: 

“I will have the 1,000 people I have chosen go to a parallel world.”

Chaos spread once those words of God were displayed to the whole world.

Kurose Hikaru, whose childhood friend had been chosen, was killed together with her on the same day she was supposed to be transferred. However, for some reason, Hikaru didn’t die and, even though he wasn’t chosen at first, he ended up as one of the [Otherworlders that will have all their actions live broadcasted to Earth].

Transferred without any preparations at all to that accursed land, he faced threats innumerable times and somehow managed to survive with his Gift, the Dark Spirit Abilities. 

“I must not die. I am sure the people on Earth are all rooting for me after all…” 

This is the story of a young boy who is tossed about by the gazes of the viewers, yet eventually manages to raise his head and walk forward. 

And there it is! A new journey ahead of us!

I will be releasing one chapter every day for the first 4 chapters!

      I was actually thinking that maybe you would translate the extra stories of tsuki ga michibiku but you will hear no complaints from me.
