“Y-Yes, Noah-sama…?” (Makoto)
Clear blue eyes were looking down at me.
I am in the innermost area of the Deep Sea Temple.
The room of the Goddess Noah-sama.
I am sitting on my knees in front of Noah-sama.
Her beautiful white legs were crossed in front of me.
The thighs I could get a peek at were dazzling.
“Where are you looking?” (Noah)
“Your legs, Noah-sama.” (Makoto)
“Is that so.” (Noah)
I say this and Noah-sama switched the legs she was crossing.
“And so, Makoto…” (Noah)
The voice of Noah-sama was seeping with the emotions of ‘I am in a bad mood, you know’.
“Didn’t you take an awfully long time to come see me?” (Noah)
“There were a lot of circumstances behind this…” (Makoto)
“I know. I have been watching.” (Noah)
“So you were.” (Makoto)
The Divinity of Noah-sama after her seal was undone is (apparently) on the same level as the Sun Goddess Althena-sama who rules the whole universe.
The God Eyes of Noah-sama can find you anywhere no matter where you hide in the whole universe or something like that.
And so, Noah-sama can ‘see everything’ no matter where I am.
“If you are going to get jealous, you should just make him stay by your side the whole time.”
A baffled voice rang from a slightly distant location. I hear the sound of a writing pen.
“Ira-sama, you were in the Deep Sea Temple?” (Makoto)
“Being in my room the whole time is suffocating. I have to take a breather.” (Ira)
“Why come here?” (Noah)
Noah-sama sighed lightly.
“The nagging angels of Althena-neesama don’t come to the Deep Sea Temple, scared of Noah.” (Ira)
“Angels are scared of you, Noah-sama?” (Makoto)
“Hmm, angels and Spirits don’t get along, so I guess I am a bad match for them as the Goddess that looks after the Spirits.” (Noah)
“I see. But I haven’t seen an angel in the room of Ira-sama.” (Makoto)
“Ugh… That’s…” (Ira)
“Ira’s workplace is extremely demanding, so the angels don’t want to get close, fearing that they might get dragged into it.” (Noah)
“I hear nothing~! Nothing at all~!” (Ira)
Ira-sama covered her ears and shook her head.
Speaking of which, I think she said that before.
Then, there’s no need to come to the Deep Sea Temple -is what I thought, but it is apparently a change of mood.
The Destiny Goddess seems to always be busy after all.
“Ira-sama, want me to help in something?” (Makoto)
“Eh? Is that okay?! Then, sort out the mountain of documents over there and the ones over here…” (Ira)
“Hold your horses. Why are you just proceeding with it by yourself, Makoto?” (Noah)
I volunteered to help out Ira-sama to escape from the lecture of Noah-sama, but she came here.
Noah-sama grabbed one of the papers, seemingly uninterested.
“Hmm…regarding the actions to take to deal with the space-time distortion, huh~. Wouldn’t it be faster for you to just check it out directly, Ira?” (Noah)
“Directly, you say… Us Goddesses can’t go down to the mortal realm. Investigating the site is the duty of the angels.” (Ira)
“But you are having trouble because you can’t tell with just the reports of the angels, right?” (Noah)
“Well, that’s true.” (Ira)
“So roundabout. Even though something like this can be dealt with in an instant.” (Noah)
I asked after hearing the words of Noah-sama and Ira-sama.
“Are you going to help too, Noah-sama?” (Makoto)
“Okay, I am free anyways.” (Noah)
“Eh, Noah will?!” (Ira)
I thanked her and Ira-sama opened her eyes wide in surprise.
“Alright! Then, let’s go check out the site at once☆.” (Noah)
Noah-sama stood up and grabbed my hand at some point in time.
Being held by her soft hand made my heart skip a beat.
Ira-sama hurriedly approached after seeing us.
“Wait, Noah! Are you seriously planning on descending to the mortal realm? You haven’t gotten permission, right?!” (Ira)
“It is okay. Just make sure not to be caught.” (Noah)
“You are definitely going to get caught. The angels of Althena-neesama are always keeping an eye to see whether there’s any abnormalities on this planet!” (Ira)
Noah-sama had my hand held and used her opposite hand to grab the hand of Ira-sama.
“Now then, off we go~☆.” (Noah)
“Wa?! Why me too?!” (Ira)
The next instant…the scenery in front of me blurred and we teleported.
There’s a big forest spreading right before my eyes.
Noah-sama, Ira-sama, and I were floating above it.
At a glance it looks like the great forest of the Tree Country.
“Where are we, Noah-sama?” (Makoto)
“Hmm, apparently at the distortion of space-time… Where is it?” (Noah)
“No way! What are you doing, Noah?! Why are you even bringing me here?!” (Ira)
I asked Noah-sama who was staring at a file.
Ira-sama is flailing her hands and legs and making a ruckus.
“There’s no need to make a ruckus. I have stopped the time around us after all.” (Noah)
It is just as Noah-sama said. The time around us has stopped.
—No sound of living creatures.
—Everything has stopped.
(How do you even pull this off…?) (Makoto)
Even though I have become a God, I still don’t understand the Miracle Magic of Noah-sama at all.
I direct my gaze at Noah-sama.
“Hey, where are we?” (Noah)
Noah-sama is talking to ‘someone’.
There was no one there.
There’s no presence, voice, or breathing, but there’s certainly something there.
“I see, it seems like it is a bit of a different time.” (Noah)
Noah-sama snaps her fingers and the scenery in front blurred again.
“Looks like the source is here.” (Noah)
“This place is…” (Makoto)
I looked at the clear scenery, and me and Ira-sama looked at each other’s faces.
Noah-sama is definitely talking to someone I can’t see.
There’s a big lake in my view.
And then, a giant crumbled castle.
I have seen this before.
Or more like, there’s no way I would forget this place.
The place where I fought a Demon Lord.
The remains of the Immortal King Bifrons’ castle.
But he shouldn’t be here anymore.
It was called the Demonic Forest and the Grave of the Demon Lord 1,000 years ago.
And the fact that the Immortal King’s castle is present…
“N-Noah~!! You did a Time Jump?!” (Ira)
“Who knows. I simply had the Great Time Spirit-chan tell me the place that had the biggest distortion.” (Noah)
I was certain with the words of the two Goddesses.
“Noah-sama, could it be that we are 1,000 years in the past?” (Makoto)
“So it seems.” (Noah)
Noah-sama said this as if nothing.
(Then, Anna-san is currently…) (Makoto)
It is not like she is nearby.
But I still ended up looking around.
Noah-sama poked my forehead at that moment.
“You must not, Makoto.” (Noah)
“Go back 1,000 years in the past and reunite with the Holy Maiden-chan -achieving this by yourself is the promise you had with the Destiny Goddess, right?” (Noah)
Returning 1,000 years in the past and reuniting with Anna-san.
I have made a number of promises for the sake of this.
1) Use the Time Jump by my own power.
2) Don’t get involved in any past event at all.
3) Stealthily go in a way that the other Gods won’t notice.
That’s basically it, but I currently have no idea how.
I could feel growth bit by bit at the time with the Water Spirits.
But the Time Spirits are hard to deal with.
That created distress in me.
“Take your time.” (Noah)
“Yes, Noah-sama. Thank you very much.” (Makoto)
“Hey, what are you talking all nonchalantly about?! Let’s go back already! It would spell trouble if the Sun Goddess-neesama were to find us here!” (Ira)
Ira-sama pulled the hands of both me and Noah-sama.
Noah-sama didn’t pay attention to that and looked around.
And then, she seemed to have found something and smiled.
She snaps her fingers.
The scenery changed in an instant.
This time it was Teleport.
The ground is far.
The crumbled Demon Lord Castle looks small from the openings of the clouds.
Looks like we have teleported even higher than where we were.
“Look, Makoto.” (Noah)
Noah-sama pointed ahead.
“This is…” (Makoto)
“A distortion in space-time! And a big one at that!” (Ira)
Ira and I were shocked.
It was a big black hole floating in the air.
A black hole that sucked everything and didn’t allow even light through.
“No way… Why…?” (Ira)
Ira-sama was dumbfounded.
“Does it not happen normally?” (Makoto)
“It doesn’t! It is impossible for a big strain to happen naturally! One of this size could accidentally draw someone from a different world. We have to close it at once.” (Ira)
“How about investigating the cause before that? You should be able to tell immediately by looking into the past, right, Ira?” (Noah)
“R-Right. It is just as you say, Noah.” (Ira)
Ira-sama stared at the black hole.
So she can see the past with just that…
Of course, I can’t do that.
“Know the cause now, Ira-sama?” (Makoto)
“Wait a moment… Geh.” (Ira)
“What’s the matter?” (Makoto)
Ira-sama, who should be looking into the past, froze.
“How was it~, Ira?” (Noah)
Noah-sama was grinning for some reason.
“…Takatsuki Makoto.” (Ira)
Ira-sama looked at me with a serious expression.
And then, slowly opened her mouth.
“The reason for the giant distortion here…was because of the synchronization between a Destiny Goddess (me) and a certain someone (you).” (Ira)
It was totally about us.
The synchronization between me and the Destiny Oracle-san who Ira-sama descended on at the time when we fought the Immortal King.
That was the reason.
“Fumu fumu, according to the investigations of the angels: ‘It is impossible for a space-time distortion this big to happen naturally, so we are requesting counsel on how to deal with this to the Destiny Goddess-sama before fixing the strain. Please give us your orders’. Isn’t it great that you know the cause now☆ Ira-chan.” (Noah)
“Shut up, Noah! Even though I dealt with this within my circle in absolute secrecy!” (Ira)
“Doesn’t seem like you did a good job.” (Noah)
The Destiny Goddess is holding her head.
I am partly to blame here, or more like, I feel more than half of it is my fault.
“W-What should we do, Ira-sama?” (Makoto)
“Uhm… We must do something, but if we were to use Miracle Magic here, the angels would notice… Uuh, what should I do~?” (Ira)
Ira-sama crossed her arms and made a complicated expression.
“Want me to do something about it?” (Noah)
Noah-sama said this with an evil face.
“Y-You can?” (Ira)
“Can I?” (Noah)
Ira-sama furrowed her brows at the words of Noah-sama.
Looks like she is pondering.
“P-Please do.” (Ira)
She yielded in the end.
“Then, you owe me one☆.” (Noah)
“Uh… A debt to Noah, huh… That’s scary.” (Ira)
Noah-sama showed no interest towards that state of Ira-sama and looked around with a gentle smile.
—“Star Spirit-chan, Time Spirit-chan, and Sun Spirit-chan, I have a request.”
The voice of Noah-sama echoed as if she were singing.
I don’t feel mana or Ether.
Noah-sama is a Goddess, so she uses Anima after all.
But I couldn’t feel the Anima of Noah-sama.
It is probably a similar feeling to an ant on top of an elephant’s back not being able to tell whether it is the ground.
The way too enormous Anima of a Goddess is most likely covering this whole planet.
I glanced at my side and the Destiny Goddess was growing pale.
—“Please…overwrite the memories of this world.”
The moment I heard the words of Noah-sama, my consciousness grew muddy and I fainted.
By the time I regained consciousness, I was in the Deep Sea Temple.
Looks like I fell asleep.
I should have been outside just a few moments ago though.
“Good grief, taking a nap in front of a Goddess is quite ballsy of you, Takatsuki Makoto.” (Ira)
“Ira-sama… When did I fall asleep?” (Makoto)
“You came just now to the Deep Sea Temple, got lectured by Noah, and then took a nap. You have nerves of steel.” (Ira)
“…I see.” (Makoto)
No good, I can’t remember.
Looks like I fell asleep at some point in time.
Moreover, we haven’t gone anywhere.
Then, was it a dream that I went together with Noah-sama and Ira-sama to check the space-time distortion?
But that was a pretty realistic dream.
“Argh! The work is not ending at all!” (Ira)
Ira-sama is surrounded by piles of documents.
“Why did you come here?” (Noah)
Noah-sama sighed lightly.
“The noisy angels don’t get close to the Deep Sea Temple because they are scared of you, Noah.” (Ira)
…This conversation is giving me a sense of deja-vu.
“Ah, Takatsuki Makoto! Go brew me some coffee now that you are awake!” (Ira)
“Hey, Makoto, make some tea for me~.” (Noah)
“Understood, Goddess-sama.” (Makoto)
I obey the orders of the two Goddesses.
I turn on the favorite Te**ru electric pot of Noah-sama.
I prepare the tea and coffee while the water is being heated up.
Ira-sama likes it somewhat strong.
Noah-sama likes the first batch to be thin.
I finish the preparations and bring it to the two Goddesses.
“Aah, what is this?” (Ira)
Ira-sama looked at a document and complained.
“What’s the matter?” (Makoto)
“Look here. It is about ‘an error in regards to the report of the space-time distortion’.” (Ira)
I was on the verge of dropping the cup when I heard that.
“‘The space-time distortion we reported about the other day was a mistake. Our deepest apologies’. Good grief, they should do their job properly. Ah, you brewed me the coffee. Thanks, Takatsuki Makoto.” (Ira)
Ira-sama wasn’t bothered by my unrest. She received the cup and drank the coffee with glee.
“Makoto, thanks for the tea.” (Noah)
Noah-sama showed a meaningful smile as she took the cup.
I was certain after seeing that smile.
That just now wasn’t a dream.
I think back at the words of Noah-sama.
—“Rewrite the memories of this world.”
Noah-sama said…that she could deceive even the eyes of the angels observing the world.
Not only that, the memories of the previous matter are gone from the Destiny Goddess.
But in that case…
“Why is it that Makoto remembers it I wonder~.” (Noah)
I quivered at the words of Noah-sama.
She read my mind.
“Hm? What do you mean by that, Noah?” (Ira)
“Nothing really. More importantly, I got the pastries from Eir, so I shall share some with you.” (Noah)
“Nice! A break, a break!” (Ira)
Ira-sama was easily distracted.
I thought this as I observed the Goddess Noah-sama having a tea party.
(…Miracle Magic that can rewrite the world.) (Makoto)
My Chief God is scary.
I am glad this Goddess is my ally.
I thought this from the bottom of my heart as I sipped the thin coffee I brewed for myself.
>An Ira-sama episode please…please…
-It was supposed to be a Noah-sama episode, but Ira-sama came from left-field by the time I noticed…
I don’t think I have said it in this story’s afterword. Publication for the 12th volume has been decided.
By the way, it is not the last volume.
I also plan the last chapter to be somewhere after or before then.
The 13th volume is planned to be the conclusion.
