In the picture book of the Legend of Hero Abel, most Heroes were killed by the Demon Lord Cain.
There’s a lot of Heroes currently in Laberintos.
The situation is bad.
But the situation worsened even more.

Hero Abel shouted with a completely different voice from his usual, filled with violent emotions as he ran out from Laberintos.
That’s right, revenge for the Fire Hero that was the mentor of Hero Abel.
Hero Abel is forgetting himself in his anger.

Julietta-san and Volkh-san chased after him.

There’s a bit of blood in the demon lord’s armor.

The way to defeat the Demon Lord Cain that Noah-sama told me about.
Since attacks don’t work on the armor itself, hit through the openings.

The one who did those attacks was now standing in front of me and Demon Lord Cain.

I answered Johnny-san without hesitation.
When I exchanged looks with Undine at the side, she nodded with a serious expression.
Even a whimsical person like her has gotten serious.
Looks like I will be fighting Demon Lord Cain with the assistance of Johnny Walker.
“Uguo… That felt terrible…” What I saw within my vision was an endless white space.…
It is not like I was certain, but I did think that we might end…

Yep, the Iron Hero loves planting flags. But why must it be Death Flags!?
As expected of the Hero Killer. And presumably Caim's derivative. Nameless side characters aren't even speedbumps, and even named heroes like Volkh aren't much compared to him. Considering how quickly he disabled Volkh and Abel (Lightning Hero), it's hardly strange they got captured earlier. Biggest difference here is that Caim was a mute, while Cain talks a lot.
That being said, it's interesting that Cain doesn't know about the whole 'only one follower every ten years' stuff. At the very least, I remember that Noah told Makoto about that (though maybe not specifically, still can't find the passage) relatively early. Maybe Cain was told and simply didn't listen?
Informational flashback! Iblis has a bad case of Orcus. It's interesting how Althena and Noah keep trying to one-up each other all the while, rivalry? And here, a direct admittance, Noah made those equipments. Also, yeah, a deity is really limited by the number of their believers, not even Althena is exempt. Immunity to anything Saint Rank or less is effectively immune to anything a normal mortal does, since Saint Rank is the highest rank they normally get. Light Hero is a standout exception in this regard.
And there's Undine. Not late because Makoto's been asking for her help too often, but because she was dressing up, so yeah, add Undine to the list, and like Momo she should be around even in a thousand years.
So, Makoto's Spirit Arm. Presumably it takes time to activate, and further, presumably his right hand has been normal ever since he's resurrected. Which explains why he's not been using that earlier
Johnny's magic seems to be primarily Wind Arrow. Presumably why he's Magic Archer despite the lack of bow, pretty accurate too being able to hit the gaps of that armor. The numbers helped though. And it seemed like he can see Undine? That's interesting, I wonder what his elemental coverage are, maybe Lucy got the Great Mage from him? It certainly seem like skill aptitude is somewhat inherited.

I can only picture Cain as Berseker Lancelot from Fate/Zero given his description of covered in black armor. Also Noah made him too OP. Giving him an entire suit of armor and a greatsword made from the same material as Makoto's God Killer Blade. Meanwhile Cain's equipment makes him invulnerable to any attack below Saint Rank unless it manages to go through the gaps in his armor. Anyways so Cain really is super crazy. He goes around killing all heroes with no exceptions because they serve the holy gods and then loudly goes around demanding everybody else to convert to Noah but still saying he'd chop off an arm of theirs to forgive them first. Makoto could probably inform him that Noah can only get 1 believer every 10 years and she's limited to only 1 but Cain is too crazy so he probably wouldn't believe it even if Makoto said he was Noah's believer. Even if Noah explained it herself he might not believe it because he's batshit insane from having seen Noah directly.
Oh? Undine in a maid outfit? I demand an illustration. Anyways so looks like it's time to add a Water Spirit to Makoto's harem. He's already got an erofu, a lamia, multiple humans, a vampire and a few goddesses.
Ah so maybe Johnny is called a Magic Archer because he uses wind spirit magic to make countless arrows. Anyways I guess Makoto is gonna get his great-grandfather-in-law's seal of approval since he's impressed that Makoto can command Undine. Now it's time to team-up and face Cain together. Also I wonder if Johnny is an Otherworlder since he's carrying a katana? Maybe one of the missing people from Makoto's class reincarnated in the past as Johnny or more likely some other random Otherworlder came to this world in the past and left descendants and Johnny is one of them. I mean Johnny seems to be half elf since he doesn't have the hair color of a pure elf.

So makoto is fighting cain it's been bothering me for a while and I think makoto is the saviour that appear in legends not Abel.
There is many reasons but as expected the biggest one to make me think this way is momo, when she said the first time they met that she was saved by abel and since then she was the allay of humanity.
So i got confused and started to read the early chapters to find if there is something that can support this theory and i really found a few things:
The biggest one of them is when makoto was talking to noel when she asked him what he will do once the great demon lord is defeated and he said that he want to clear a dungeon and that there is (someone waiting for him) she said that those were the words of the saviour Abel before he left thinking about it now it could be something makoto would say after saving the world before returning to the present time.
There is also the words of momo when Noel asked her opinion about hurrying the northern expedition and said that ( i will only fight when there's a chance for winning) and that those are the words of Abel and that he always said ( make all required preparations ) among other things thinking about this now these are words that makoto would say cant imagine Able to say this.
There is also a few other things in the wood county arc but not solid leads in my opinion.

That may have originally been the case. Remember that the past has already - to some extent at least - been changed. If the hero party where not captured originally (such as they fled instead), maybe they ran into the human farm and Abel saved Momo just as Makoto now did. Later on she got captured and turned vampire all the same.
But the past has been been altered, and likely the Demon side knew to expect the attack so they laid a trap - resulting in the heroes getting captured when otherwise they may not have been. The Demon side clearly know too much in any case. The Great Demon Lord obviously knows about Abel, and obviously he should not.
So I think what Abel originally did, Makoto ended up doing instead and ultimately Momo's fate was (mostly) the same in the end.
If that was the case why did the author said that he worked especially hard on the scene where makoto met with the momo?
And why was momo especially nice to makoto like telling him to set next to her or allowing him to pet her head while drinking his blood or helping him with nobles of the sun country to the pont they call makoto the lover of the great sage.
I really understand your opinion i also think the same. The present and past are on the same line so how makoto changes the present when he first arrived to this world without going to the past is something I don't understand, i hope the author explain this point.
My theory is that there is an original timeline, where everything originally happens, just like in the books.
When Typhon's side and Makoto goes to the past to interfere with history, the history changed.
But, Makoto's "present" is the already changed timeline
Maybe, the original history exist, but it doesn't lead to the future where Makoto and co gets summoned from another world
