Holy maidens are meant to marry heroes. Not much mention of that in comments.
Althena could be trying to marry her to the light hero as well, to tie her more firmly to their side, but she'll refuse in that case and it will shift to my desired scenario: essentially placing Makoto on even grounds with the light hero as a sort of shadow hero.
On one side, the Sun shines with Light. On the other, the Moon is reflected by dark Water.

Well...That's...we've completed the collection for the Hero Party then, haven't we? A Hero, Johnny's Descendant, a Monster, and the Holy Maiden. Nice.
So this is Athena, huh? She's...intense, for sure. But I'm kinda getting that one awkward Female Knight archetype vibes from her. She's curt with her words and over the top, but so far seems fully intent on making things right with Takki's party.
I kinda really want a POV with her internal thoughts now. She might be surprisingly cute if she's fretting and feeling guilty, but too stoic and awkward to let it show. Kinda like with Sophia and her backfiring skill, actually.
It really does mirror Abel's legendary party composition now doesn't it? Some people were saying Makoto is very similar to Abel more so than Sakurai. It would look bad if she shows favoritism with an Evil God Apostle.

Well we finally got confirmation that Alex is a demigod or god and the brother of the goddesses. At least it's satisfying that Makoto has traumatized him. Smug bastard deserves it.
I don't know what to think of Althena yet. On the one hand, she has reimbursed Sa-san for the life she lost and has raised Furi to Holy Maiden status like Noel and charged her with rebuilding a country for devilkin. On the other hand, it still doesn't feel like she has done enough reparations for what happened. Well she might give more reparations next chapter or at least give important information so I'll withhold judgement on Althena until then.

I love how much Makoto looks like a thug before Althena but how weak he will probably be before an angry Noah after he broke his first promess with her.
