OK so according to Makoto he died because that was the cost of turning into a spirit.

Aaannnddd of course Makoto is naked. I was kind of expecting Ira to also start blushing when she handed him a robe to cover up. Anyways given their interactions now I guess Ira is definitely joining Makoto's harem. That makes her goddess number 3 in his harem behind Noah and Eir.
So yeah there are many things to question about. What happened to Alex? What happened to the pope bastard? Is Makoto still human or has he become the Water Spirit King permanently? What about his spirit arm and Noah's Divinity that in a previous chapter it said that Makoto destroyed with his dagger? Where even is his dagger? Makoto was brought back naked so obviously he doesn't have his dagger with him. Hopefully Althena will answer everything.
Speaking of Althena I wonder what hidden flaw she has? All the goddesses we've met have had at least one.
According to author, Ira is written to be the enemy. Then her popularity exploded, while people have been asking for her to enter Makoto's harem.
By the time the newest chapter on LN is written (which is today btw) he still hasn't decided yet whether to put Ira in Makoto's harem or not.

I don't remember that in the latest WN chapter. I looked at the end of it MTL'd and from what I could understand all it talked about was Mary being part of the harem in the LN version and how she and Janet aren't in the harem in the WN but he likes Janet's LN design a lot so he's at a loss if he should make them enter the harem in the WN.
