Man, to think I was excited to see Cain when we first came back to this time. I know he was the most enthusiastic hero killer, but three encounters in a row is ridiculous. Can we finally have a conversation?
That aside, it looks like we've finally established that lifespan is more like a mana bar where you can charge it up to capacity, and then "spend" it back down without losing said capacity. Presumed how it worked, but nice to get confirmation. I wonder if the natural lifespan limit is a thing in acquisition or if Takki can farm a decent surplus to use?
Thanks for the chapter. Makoto encountering Cain without Momo and Anna might be a good opportunity. Perhaps he can win him over as an ally by asking him to cooperate in order to free Noah.

Well, we've been told he's training Sun and Destiny magic. We just haven't been shown him doing it unlike with his water magic. Though when he used Time Acceleration in battle the first time he did mention he used it to train with. Still, we're not being shown it as much as we did back in the present, so it feels less.
Well, they got to the place easily enough. Also, looks like all the ancient dragons can use human transformation? Interesting. Maybe Mel will move them somewhere else after Iblis is defeated to avoid clashing with humans attacking the dungeon. Since they were almost all dead in the present originally. The trip back to see Johnny also went pretty smoothly. So I was pretty much expecting that SOMETHING was going to happen to upset things. Now it's just a question of how this will go. Sure, this is his chance to appeal to Cain that he also reveres Noa. On the other hand, Cain is notoriously irrational and beyond reason. A berserker. He might not settle for anything less than Makoto becoming Noa's worshipper, despite knowing it's impossible to have more than one at the same time. During which Makoto will get aggravated by having the fact he can't be Noa's worshipper in this period thrown in his face, making him more irritable than usual. So yea, I'm betting it just ends with them fighting again. There's no way it can be settled that easily after all..

The whole chapter, each time they speaked about traveling from the Sun temple and back I was like "Why aren't they using [Teleport] for instant travel when they know the destination and its coordinates?", and then I saw the last line and thought "For plot's convenience. -_-".
Maybe he can start a discussion by praising Noah as the number one beauty of the divine realm to appeal to Cain's fanatism? x)
And the title is pretty misleading here with so little training.
Maybe farming would have been more appropriate with the monsters and lifespan. x)
