Oof! we might have a long arc ahead of us guys. It's pretty obvious that Makoto will definitely choose to go back in time since it is already known to the fans that he always choose the more difficult choice.
The time spirit kinda sucks away the tension of whether he can come back or not no? Still I have a feeling that the next arc is gonna sick as h***!
Makoto has so many choices that he can choose from after being sent back 1000 years ago where the goddesses influence is at its minimum and spirits are thriving in that era. For instance, promoting Noah and spreading her religion through defeating the great demon king or perhaps getting Abel and his team's help with attacking the undersea temple dungeon to free Noah in that era.
Even better since there's a lot more spirit users in that era, he can even learn more about spirit magic from spirit magic experts like Johnny and learn other spirit attributes that's not water and increase his diversity in his abilities.
I'm also looking forward to reading the interactions between the 6 goddesses from 1000 years ago and Makoto. Also interaction between past Noah and Makoto if they ever meet is gonna be very interesting to read as well.
It'll be really interesting if the reason why the holy goddesses are so relaxed and casual with Makoto is because they've been hanging out with past Makoto for 1000 years.

Would the goddesses be affected by space-time? What about his skills? Would he retain them? Will he still be the apostle of Noah, alongside Cain? How far will he be brought back, before Cain massacre all the heroes except abel, or just before the fight between him and the great demon lord?? Who exactly is Abel anyways? Time paradox? No sekai sen? Steins gate? So many questions.

My rant in the previous chapter about this whole time travel shenanigans seems to have disappeared. Even though I like the story so far, this development is poor for me, as time travel always creates paradoxes and plot holes, not to mention this cheat magic only cost the demons a few thousand normal citizens who don't really matter in grand scheme of things. It is also pretty obvious that Makoto will get to come back to the present. My guess, considering the coffin in Great Sage's ice house, is that Makoto will get frozen and preserved there until the present through these 1000 years. Perhaps Abel will make the sacrifice. Anyways, I'm very sad about how the author is handling the story I was enjoying so much up till this point.

The thing is we haven't even seen how he handles time travel yet, and time travelling has been foreshadowed since way back. Time travelling shenanigans happen, but in this world we have a literal Goddess of Time, so I think she could manage something?
About Makoto coming back, yeah, it is obvious, so I don't think it counts as a minus. Would anyone even be happy if Makoto were to actually stay in the past and render everything he did in the story pointless? Sofia, Lucy, Aya, Furiae -everything about them just poof?
Well, as I said, it has basically been 2 chapters since time travel was mentioned. He hasn't even gone back in time yet to see how the author handles it.
Just one of the paradoxes that come up with time travel is that if Makoto goes back, he'll have to fight Noah and her deranged apostle of that time...
Does he really need to fight them tho? Isn't Noah just got bamboozled on that time that's why she's on the demon side? If Makoto said he's Noah's future apostle then that's already a minus 1 strong enemy. Makoto can still talk with past Noah since he's still an apostle right? Then he can convince her to join the hero or something. After all, if Makoto went to the past but he's being not on the history book shows that something is wrong about that story. Or heck, maybe that evil apostle is Makoto himself to push Abel and co to get stronger or something.(wild guess only lmao)
Based on what we read, Makoto will go to the past to help defeat the demon king 1000years ago and on the same time, everyone on the present will fight the reincarnated demon king. Makoto will definitely succeed on killing the Demon king 1000years ago and will return to the present on god knows how and will help to fight the reincarnated demon king. Damn just thinking about that I already feel bad for that guy lmao
Also I just realized, if Makoto went to the past then the sage shouldve known him since he will definitely need to contact them hero to win... Maybe she lied about the blood being tasty with virgins so that she can have an excuse to drink Makoto's. She's definitely a harem member. Makotos not on the history book tho, maybe he ask them to not say anything? Or maybe Makoto went rouge and help them from the shadow- which I don't think so since Sage kept always favoring him which definitely makes sense if she really knows him.
