I don’t know much of other magic aside from moon magic, so I couldn’t read the meaning of the magic circles, but I could tell that it was quite the complex spell.
“Destiny Magic: [Miracle of Resurrection].”
I could hear these words muttered lowly.
A magic circle shining brightly appeared in front of the Destiny Oracle Esther.
And then, the white figure of someone appeared inside the magic circle.
That pure white figure slowly grew clearer.

He really went berserk here and paid a steeper price than what I expected.
I really hope the Goddesses won't dare say that he owes them or critisize him for breaking the Spirit King's transformation taboo because it is clearly them that screwed up here and he was cleaning up their mess. Otherwise I hope he will blew at them and maybe threaten them to reveal to the Demon Gods their transgressions.
Ira probably owe him two favors now.
Things won't stay without consequences for sure.
Can't wait for the explanation. ^^

Thanks a lot for the chapter. So, Makoto got killed either due to the Water Spirit King having some cost to pay, or he got killed by Eir (Spirit Weapons were used during the Gods/Titans war and were disposed of afterwards, so Gods and Goddesses can probably destroy them). Ira finally proves useful for once by bringing back Makoto through a resurrection spell (I was expecting Noel, but I guess she needs a body to do that. Ira's spell seemed more like time reversal magic). I hope that some heads will roll after this mess is settled (preferably the Pope's) and that Furiae will finally confess her feelings.

Wait so if his body was nowhere to be found,either sacrificed by the spirits or somewhere in the ocean dead did Esther/Ira resurructed Makoto from nothing?

Hmm, how many days passed while Alex and Makoto was locked in a stalemate? I don't think it was mentioned at all huh.
That Sakurai was functional at all is outside my expectation. Must have taken a lot out of him. It probably helped that Makoto was fighting the last time Sakurai saw him.
More importantly, it can't not be big news. Not only did the kidnapping failed, Alex went missing and most likely dead, and Makoto was confirmed dead through an oracle. News will have cone out, so the big question here : what of the Pope. He better be suffering even worse than Alex did right now.
What everyone thinks happened: the SUN Hero sent by the POPE killed the WATER Hero.
Repercussions? None.
As always, everything related to politics in this series sounds super believable.
