My guess... Alexi is how Ira possessed her oracle without exuding Divinity. She stuck it to Alexi. By using Ira's divinity to attack a follower of the Titan gods, their ancient treaty was violated. Hence, reparations are coming. I'm willing to bet Makoto won't just be revived.
I will wait for the explanation but I can't say I like these developments. Is Ira resurrecting Mokoto because it was her direct interference via Alex that caused his death? Hmm.....I'll hold off judgement until they clarify the events.
nah most probably not, if ira the one who manipulate alex to attack makoto team she won't revive him at all, my best guess is pope act on his own and ira have to clean up his mess.

i didnt knew about tsuki raw vs eng now but just like Bakaperpert protitze Arifureta i think Reikogai was focusing to WM now like try keep 1/day, and tsuki waiting for 2cp/week raw and post double chapter at one day, Now eng vs raw WM around 50cp raw updated 1cp/4days, theres some issues like the battle with Alex when He really need for releasing in a row for better experience to reader
Didn't they say they don't have convenient spell to resurrect Ryosuke if he were stabbed.
I think that it is probably a god rank spell, so mortals probably can't use it. Ira did say the spell name was [Miracle of Resurrection].
The ressurection spell can be used by human to please refer to the end battle of geralt and makoto where light oracle use saint rank spell too directly to geralt lifeless body

The reason why ira using the miracle of resurrection because the body of makoto can't be found so that's why ira using the god rank spell to bring makoto life
The only one that can do it is Noel and we know that but if you remember Ira is here on the mortal world to avoid Sakurai's death .......When Makoto asked her if she can revived Sakurai as a payment of for the favor that she owed him she said that she couldn't. Now conveniently she can resurrect him.

I think Ira's resurrection can resurrected and make new body but Noel's is just resurrected and recover injured.(and maybe must doing in time limit after dead)
That's why Noel can't resurrect Makoto because they can't find his corpse.
In Sakurai's case maybe he would be die in war and its hard to retrieve his corpse in time, so human's side don't want that happen.
He died? the king of the water spirits who can only die if all the water on the planet disappears? but not the sun hero ..... that's bullshit to me.
Also wasn't Ira supposed to be worried about Sakurai dying against the demon king and there was no other way to revive him other than Noel? Or is it because it was the Olympians' fault that this happened and that is why they are making this exception or are they doing something suspicious behind their back?
I still don't know what happened with Alex, but Makoto sacrificed his live to defeat Alex, RPG say so when he choice that option and Alex (or was Esther) say so again the previous chapter, so it's probably fine to assume that he killed Alex and then died.
It may be but it is suspicious that they do not mention the cause of this situation and more importantly one of the heroes if he died or not.
The next chapter the things will be probably explained, I just know what was said previously and because of that think is natural the dead of Makoto.

Resurrection didn't get denied. They only said there was no convenient magic tool to perform resurrections with that can be given to Sakurai and that there also isn't any convenient magic spell to do it that anybody can use -only Noel can cast a resurrection spell because she's the Light Oracle which is why she has to follow him around when Iblis comes back.
I think it's because gods cannot revive a human cause they're not allowed to interrupt.
