Thanks for the chapter Reigokai! And oh man, ending it on a cliff hanger like that as well. Now I'm worried he ruined his relationship with Furiae, she already finds it hard to trust people.
And it's obvious that clear mind ability is making him very aloof and oblivious to the world around him, and especially other peoples feelings (and his own health). Seemed like it got quite extreme this chapter, maybe his friends will confront that issue soon (they definitely need too).
When the war ends, he won't be able to make any excuses. He will be forced in a bed by Lucy, Aya, Sofia, Furiae, and Janet. With his weak stats, he won't be able to escape them.
His RPG Player and Clear Mind also makes him appear as indifferent to the life of his enemies. Remember the battle against the demon Shuri ? He was really scary.

This is a flag ! The Great Sage is really soft to Makoto. She even seems to have feelings for him. She didn't mind the rumour of Makoto being her lover. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if she was the one who spread the rumours to protect Makoto from the nobles. Also, there is no way the Great Sage don't know the story behind the Guardian Pact. I wouldn't be surprised if she made the pact with him as an excuse to be closer to him.
When and why the Great Sage developed feelings for him ? I think Makoto time-traveled to the past and was probably a member of Abel's party 1,000 years ago as Bifrons mistook him for someone and the Great Sage hinted the existence of another party member.

Dunno. The Great Sage isn't an Oracle, so Makoto won't be able any protection. Also, he probably won't receive any skills because the Great Sage would have suggested him the Blood Pact back then in Spring Log.

In that system, we'd call it a blood bond, makoto would become a ghoul (it's just what a person who drinks vamp blood is called, ghoul =/= undead, it just makes the mortal a bit stronger), and ghouls do have extended lifespans (as long as they drink vamp blood on the semi regular)
since she is a vampire, Makoto might got some Vampire traits, like blood magic? or some enchantment to his stats as we know most Vampire has better stats than human.
Don't think blood pact has another meaning other than how it's made. But why do they have to drink it is beyond me...

We won't really know until it's actually used. Given the context though, you can somewhat predict what needs to be offered to achieve that pact. If we notice how there can only be 5 pacts and that life, soul, blood, word, can be pretty mutually exclusive, you get the impression that something personal must be paid with each pact. What's left is basically the body with nothing in it. I.e. corpse.
Corpse does sound very negative though...

I feel that furiae just didn't know the great sage sama is a vampire and thought that her pact got replaced or something. This seems decently probable if we look at the flow of the general story line. Btw, i don't rmb which chapters exactly but around the second time when Makoto and Lucy kissed, alone in the forest, Noel sama explained that marriage is called the life pact; out so i seem to recall.
It seems that's the case with Furiae-san. She is isolated for so long and also she craves for attention. That should explains why she thought "You're my knight, so stay with me" a lot, leading to her loosing all of her composure after hearing that.
Furiae went totally yanyan there so she might finally become aware of her on feelings.

Not really to make Makoto jealous, but to help fulfil Makoto's wish for freedom and adventure by persuading Sakurai and pissing off Noel. Lucy said that any normal gesture by Furiae automatically looks like seduction to everyone else.
Well i guess since she isn't sure about her feelings to Makoto she was feeling secure that she has a special connection with him as her guardian knight. So i guess the connection not being so special to him anymore made her feel cheated

Looks like Makoto is putting his dating experience to work here (Janet's dinner date). Meeting Esther/Ira with Janet. Then dinner date with Janet. Meeting Great Sage with Sophia. Then dinner with Sophia. Next date with Furi to appease her?
I think Makoto is unconsciously figuring out how to deal with his harem as he gains more experience. He figured out how to fool Sophia with his sulky and depressed face. And the secret arts of diverting topics and using bait like dinner together.
It's probably a misunderstanding with Furiae since she's as ignorant as Makoto about pacts. She probably thinks people can only have one guardian pact when you could have multiple pacts. Nonetheless its still a shocker for her when the boy she loves might discard her is her fear.
It's really funny that Makoto probably would even accept help from a demon lord to get out of his hospital bed!
I hope that he would put that experience in use with Sa-san. So far, there was only one decent date. It was the one with the hot springs "family bath" 😂. The other ones were in places like sewers, demonic forest, weapon shop and slave market.
Remember that Furi's favorite story was the story about the princess and her guardian knight, together against the world as lovers and such. It's pretty easy to connect why she's outraged that her guardian knight became someone else's guardian knight so easily. Then again it points out that she did make the lightest pact with Makoto, so maybe she'll take this as an opportunity and make a stronger one with him.
Yeah it's nice really, seeing Makoto's growth and all
He still gets cockblocked from time to time, but at least he's not terribly dense and trying to advance his relationships with his harem slowly
