I have managed to confirm his safety.
Hero Abel and the Great Sage-sama have become comrades already.
What’s left is the Holy Maiden Anna.

Some stories say that Hero Abel and the Holy Maiden Anna were born in the same village and were childhood friends.
In other words, it would be strange for them to not be together already.
But as of now, the name of the Holy Maiden Anna hasn’t come out from the mouth of Volkh-san, Julietta-san, or Hero Abel.

Hero Abel being captured at the Demon Lord Castle didn’t show in the picture book, so it should be better to assume that history is already being changed.
I am sure the Holy Maiden Anna is doing well somewhere…I want to believe that’s the case.

If I use the information of the future too much, my identity will be suspected.

Beautiful elves, cat eared and bunny eared cute beastkin girls were surrounding him and pouring him alcohol.
They are all talking loudly, exchanging drinks, and having fun.
It kinda…reminds me of the group of Sakurai-kun in middle school.

While at it, even though Johnny is in the middle of that noisy group, he is drinking alcohol as if he is terribly bored.
I can understand why they call him unfriendly.

A while after hesitating, someone slapped my shoulder.

When I turned around, there was an old man with a thick beard.
Judging from physical traits, I think he is a dwarf.
His face is packed with personality, but the aura clad around his body also gives out a thick presence.
I can tell that he is a seasoned warrior.

Well, I am used to being seen as weak, so that’s fine though.
“Hey, please stop Volkh and Julietta. They are saying they want to challenge the Demon Lord one more time. Honestly speaking, even the Fire Hero Olga that was so strong wasn’t a match. Defeating a Demon Lord is just delusional.” (Deckel)

Volkh-san calms the two who were arguing.
Hero Abel is not participating in this and simply watching.
“Hey, you are going to give up on defeating the Demon Lords, right?” (Deckel)
“You are going to be fighting the Demon Lords, right, Makoto-kun?!” (Julietta)
Deckel-san and Julietta-san were pushing on on me.
Words floated in front of me.

“How about speaking nonsense after freeing the people of the human farm?”
The other beastkin that were around Johnny-san also came.
Judging from the aura around their bodies, they are all quite the strong ones.
Deckel-san and Julietta-san were making awkward expressions.
Looks like the standing of the Heroes is low…
At that moment, someone came to the front.
“Makoto-san has defeated one of the generals of a Demon Lord. The Impenetrable Demon Balam!” (Abel)

Julietta-san tried to stop it, but the beastkin were burning.
This reminds me of that time with Geralt-san.

The elves and the beastkin must trust Johnny-san a lot. They were slightly calm.
But the next words made them change the color of their faces.

I haven't read ahead at all, but I'm beginning to think that Abel was never the Light Hero, he was only ever the Lightning Hero, and the whole Light Hero thing got retconned in to hide Makoto's presence.
That would be one possible explanation why Abel never stuck around to father children. He wasn't what the stories said.
Also, are we really, really sure that Abel is in fact male? From chapter 227:

I dunno but I don't trust Makoto's judgment 100% here. 95% at most. And if Abel is female then Anna might not exist at all.
If he or rather her name is Annabel it could be explained
Why does this seem like it’s the truth?
Also, “Abel” was described in past chapters as someone with a few screws loose, and had no fear, which is a characteristic that Makoto became known for. However, the real Abel is far from that indifferent fearless adventurer described in their history.
Why do I feel like Abel is actually gonna be Anna and it's gonna be that Makoto was Abel the entire time lol.
Maybe the real name was Annabel
Honestly I like how their name can be easily combined like that.
Makoto hasn't shown any sealing skills, he's got a dagger that can kill anything, and all of Abel's defeated enemies were getting revived in a thousand years.
Did balam got revived tho?
Not that we've been told, but Setekh, Shuri, Bifrons, and the Great DL Iblis were all taken out by Abel. I don't see them getting back up if Makoto used his god killing dagger, sharp enough to cut fate.
Personality-wise though, Makoto matches the fearless “Abel” from the stories, while the real Abel seems quite normal in their perception of danger.
Bifrons was dead though, not sealed. Just that his corpse kept leaking miasma. His planned revival earlier was using something like Iblis' resurrection magic.Iblis was also dead, just resurrecting. So the issue is probably more that Light Hero can't kill things as completely as the soul eating technique rather than Abel's still-not-shown sealing skills.
He was given destiny magic though. It won't be a stretch if he maxes it and uses it to seal people
No one has the light attribute yet maybe that's why but the Demon that he already killed is dead as well in the future.
Souls offered to the Goddesses are reborn as pawns of the Goddesses, so he's probably back, but the story hasn't specifically pointed anyone out as being his reincarnation.
It doesn't matter him as a Demon is dead is what I mean , a lot of high rank demons were killed and remain dead in the future,we will see why Seketh and those that survived are alive.
That's my point, every Demon Lord killed by Makoto is either twisted over to the Goddess side, or left nothing behind but a magic stone. All Abel's kills are dead, but they have corpses with power, that need to be further maimed, and then buried under magic seals so they don't wake back up.

Anyways this is will be his first battle with the demon lords from this era. How much our MC can handle him?

You are forgetting that Cain is totally crazy after seen Noah's true form.
But maybe he reacts to the dagger.
Well, surely he won't trust Makoto from the start. But if Noah has been shown Makoto's dagger probably she'll tell cain that Makoto can be trusted (since he's also an apostle, he can directly communicate with Noah)
Is possible, just in case Cain is someone who can reason, he lost his sanity when he saw Noah's real form (in Eir's words that's the reason why Cain was going from place to place killing heroes since Noah
couldn't control it) ..... that's the difference between him and Makoto and the main problem.
I hope today we see what happens.

I hope Makoto can inspire some of the other heroes to fight alongside them, even if they're not strong enough to subjugate the demon lords by themselves.
On that note, I'm surprised everyone is so scared of the demon lords, when they've been exposed to the idea more than any other time in history
They've also been exposed to their strength more than any other time in history. Especially since this chapter implies that nobody like Setekh, Shuri, or Balam has ever been brought down before. Considering that they can't even defeat the Demon Lords' confidants, how are they supposed to be any more confident about facing the Demon Lords themselves?
I didn't even think about that. I guess knowing they've been dead for 1000 years and it's just round 2 would be a bit easier, especially if they're already aware of the new light hero and his accomplishments

My question from last chapter might have been answered.
Probably because of the way the demihumans are treating the humans, the humans will begin to discriminate against them in the future.
Probably the trigger was meant to be Abel saving humanity making the stand of humans higher.
I wonder if makoto will change something?
Makoto only discriminates against common sense, the whole world may be a different place when he gets back to the future.
Is not even discrimination is more like completely denying it existence

@Athros There is a skill "otherworld sense" that is basically common sense like that in the novel"transition to otherworld ...landmines included" .
If you're talking about the humans' standing, don't forget the gods' blessings too. It was mentioned during the Symphonia arc, that while demihumans are innately stronger, the presence of divine blessings made the humans effectively stronger. So in the end it comes down to a double-whammy of a human hero bringing down the demons' rule and the humans becoming stronger as the gods' influence grow. From there, people probably wouldn't be quick to forget incidents like this, and since it's become the hegemony of humans, they took sweet revenge.
