The result of freezing even air itself was the completion of two ice monster statues.
Not only that, the plains that could be seen in the whole area to the trees had been frozen.

I ran to where the young girl is.

If we stay here, the chances of other monsters coming is high.
I pulled the trembling hand of the little girl and left that place.

Her age is around 10-12, I think.

I remember that Bifrons is a Demon Lord that used to rule of the Western Continent, so there was great chance that he would end up in his territory.
I think that the one Bifrons mistook him for is probably Makoto.
I think the history was always like that. The Great Sage was acting really close to him. I don't think that she only saw him as a blood bag.
Here is my theory. Ira actually failed to fix the past properly or couldn't fix it properly for some reason. As a result, it ended up people like Great Sage and Bifrons remember Makoto. What do you think ?

I might add that it is not that she couldn’t fix it, shes being overwhelmed by rpg skill.
My theory is that rpg is so powerful it actually makes history bend even without the gods noticing. Thats why she got so agitated with the options and Lucy, seeing everything change just because he said yes might be impossible to believe for her.
So even if she didn’t know it happened it happened because rpg player is present, something like that.
Parables in time usually change depending on what happens in the future, it is assumed that Makoto was always the one who travels to the past but because that happens in the future (current present) I could still change or it could have been different if Makoto had died before traveling to the past. The past, present and future would be different ...... parables in time are a nuisance because they are like Schrodinger's cat they exist but at the same time they don't.
Basically the history was changing but not because the demons used the forbidden spell it was because Makoto didn't go to the past .
Did the goddesses revive him willingly? Or was it because they simply saw that he was necessary for the continuity of time?
I can't make my mind to think of a theory since it's kinda confusing. I feels like that there are two timelines, and it's merging now but not properly.
It might be that there is only one timeline all this time. Otherwise it won't explains why Great Sage-sama has a coffin which most of us presume that either Makoto or Abel, or both, is there. So it might be just Ira-sama messed up some things, just like you said.
And then, i know this sounds illogical but i just want to say it lel
Since Ira-sama is clumsy, she should have spoiled some little things from the past to Makoto already, but she didn't so far. Even if she manages to control herself and didn't spoil anything, she should have anticipated things and acts like there's no mistakes at all. But there she is again, making mistakes here and there.
But then, this might be explained by my point before that Ira-sama is clumsy so she is bound to make mistake at times.
Rather than not being able to fix it, I'm guessing that the new past will turn out way better than the old supposedly canon past, so Ira will just leave it as is for the most part. Of course, she'll have to cover up Makoto's existence as well as his improvements to prevent paradoxes and divine interference. Foreshadowing suggests that he'll be remembered as Hero Abel, which is confusing since there is most certainly a real Hero Abel who also is remembered as Hero Abel. Thanks, Ira.
In the last chapter, it didn't translate well, but Great Sage's response's emphasizes the "Spirit User-kun" instead of them not meeting in the past. Likely, she does remember meeting him, or realized that she did meet him through various hints, except not as "Spirit User-kun".
i do think the cause is due to time paradox the place that supposed to be safe become demon territory or in 1000(should we call it future or presents) it safe place and deeply connected to him but in past it is demon lord territory
@Yuu the word you want is conflated. Basically, if hero Abel really did exist, and Makoto need to remain anonymous, then stories related to Makoto would likely be conflated into Abel's. Because after all, something happened, and yet the person who did it isn't recorded, then the easiest way to explain it would be as part of the countless things Abel did.
Correct me if im wrong, but isnt Ira about to loose the ability to manifest, all her temples and followers? How is she supposed to fix anything if she looses her source of power and the ability to move around?
I agree with you, if we talk about time travelling, there are some rules that can you avoid.
In the time traveller law, in the history flow, there has some history flow that not same each other.
Now, if we review the chapter when makoto kill the demon lord biffron, it'll will make sure if they have met in the past. But makoto cann't remember that because in the future flow, that are the first time they meet.
@Miserys_End just the ability to manifest. By itself that's already a great blow to her faith, since the other goddesses can and do still manifest from time to time. Basically losing faith and followers are just the natural consequences of the inability to manifest, especially since apparently a big part of her attraction is her pop-idol activities. It might also limit her ability to intervene in the world though.
I think the timeline being altered because of the demons sacrificing so many lives Is just a lie and the real reason why the great demon lord was resurrecting is because makoto going back to the past is a fixed event and if he doesn’t go back then the great demon lord was never killed so it automatically resurrects in the present as if it was never killed in the first place
This is what happens when you play with the continuity of time, the existing past is due to an event in the future but Makoto has not yet traveled to the past so he does not know things that still do not happen, everything will be clearer when this arc ends.
From the beginning there were a lot of weird things, but only now that we know that Makoto went to the past is when all those details makes sense.
I'm sure the guy Bifrons met really was Makoto but because it hadn't happened yet from Makoto's perspective it probably made Bifrons' memory vague. It probably doesn't help that Bifrons himself said he can't tell humans apart and they all look the same to him.

About Bifrons' territory? There's the Great Sage who was apparently vampirized by Bifrons himself (mentioned by the person herself in the aftermath of the Bifrons incident, at the start of the Fire Country arc). Back during Makoto's first visit to Symphonia she also mentioned having been saved by Abel.
As to the little girl, a lot of folks are certainly convinced it's the Great Sage. Her age checks out (Great Sage looks around ten, as does this little girl), and the choice pop up confirms she's important somehow.
Of course Makoto goes and saves a girl right from the start, gotta raise those flags early... Although it seems like she is a bit too young.

Also I doubt Makoto Will leave Abel alone in his final fight nor he will leave Noah servant alone(probably Maoto will beat them before they kill Heroes, so Noah Punishment lessened)

He has 999 proficiency on water magic and there isn’t any interference from the holy gods so he should probably be able to create a tsunami and wash away the demons in the entire continent.
The Holy Gods influence is indeed really weak. There are even Pitch Black Clouds that weaken the Divine Protection of Holy Gods I think.
Also, is it really water magic proficiency: 999 ? I think it is just that the modified Soul Book can't show beyond 3 digits. 999 just seems too weird. He became a Water Spirit King even it was only for a moment, so I think it should be way higher. Well, we will know when he trains. If his magic control increases significantly and it still shows 999, it would probably mean that his actual magic proficiency is beyond 999.
That would be great but he might gen in a funk again if he can monitor his own progress like he did when he hit the 99 mark before although I don’t think he will stop his death march like training he does everyday
@savioroffrance: I don't think Noah would just raise the level cap displayed in Makoto's Soul Book by one digit. I think Noah just modified it so that it can display the actual level and Makoto really is at 999 water magic proficiency. 1000 is supposed to be a milestone so I'm thinking it's just really hard to reach that level. At 1000 you're supposed to be able to summon and sync with great spirits like Undine normally. Makoto has previously been able to summon Undine because those were special exceptions.
@tacos1 So Makoto will probably level up his proficiency to 1000 during his journey. I wonder if there will be a difference between synching with Undine with 999 proficiency +charm and 1000 proficiency+charm. It will just be boring if it only allows him to use Undine with more freedom.
Well he just got sun and destiny magic so he might end up being able to sync those spirits or maybe all spirits once he hits 1000.

Well, Makoto Probably Hit bottle neck, He probably need to do something before reach profiency: 1000. in most some RPG aren't they has requirements to do before we reach ultimate/secret skill. like directly meet the Spirit or make formal contract or do some chain of event)

Would be funny if instead of Makoto being Abel as some people are theorizing he is Johnny Walker as he is closely related to the wood country where Bifrost was sealed hence we could assume that Makoto current location is the Wood kingdom 1000 years ago. There is also the fact he is said to be a womanizer and sired a lot of offspring and he is said to be a spirit user.
