“If I go 1,000 years into the past, will I be able to return to the present?” (Makoto)
This is the most important point.
If I am the only one who can change the past, I have no choice but to go.

That should be the long desire of the Titan Gods that are treated as Evil Gods.
If the believers of Noah-sama were to increase in numbers, the Titan Gods would be able to gain strength.

Well atleast he has the choice. Sooooo if makoto ever travels back in time then wouldnt that mean that he has no real direct support from the goddesses? Since noah, who he follows, is currently on the other side of the war? Im excited as to how this plays out.

A Theory struck me while I was reading this chapter. The main points which have led me to conclude in this theory are as follows:
Makoto always choses the hardest option since it is the most interesting to him. Thus he would chose to go back in time.
Now once he goes back in time according to Ira it would take at least 100 years for the Godesses to gain enough power to send him forwards in time. Now my theory is based on the assumption that since the author has spent 200+ chapters building the relationship between Makoto and Lucy, Aaya, Sophia and Furiae he would not simply let it end like this. Thus since they can't be send back in time with him, He should be able to somehow meet them again in the future.
Now, the conclusion I have derived is on the following basis:
First, Great Sage Sama was exceptionally kind to Makoto, even if you consider that she sees him as a deluxe wine her affections cause the surrounding people to see him as a lover, which isn't normal.
Second Great Sage Sama mentions outside the world perspective even though Makoto has never told her that .
These two points leads me to believe that Makoto and Great Sage Sama met in the past and were perhaps lovers.
Finally, when Makoto goes along with Furiae to Great Sage Sama's room he finds a Coffin in her room. As far as I am aware the contents of the coffin was not mentioned.
Thus, my theory is that Makoto goes to the past. Inadvertently seduces the Great Sage. Has her turn him into a vampire and rest in the coffin until present Makoto travels to the past. After which he will be awoken by Great Sage.
One flaw that I can find in this theory is that he would lose his spirit user ability which he was not willing to do the last time such an option came up. Though this entire theory is based on the assumption that the author would not like to waste 200+ chapters of relationship building. The author can always pull a G. R. R. Martin and simply let him live in the past. Though I personally don't think that it is likely. Please tell me if I missed anything or made any wrong assumptions.

We got Time Spirits introduced in this chapter, so I think that he would be able to use them and stop his own time.
I think it would be easier for him to use his water magic to freeze himself in a secluded place and just have the spirits de freeze him when the time is right
There is one more hint of info.
The white loli’s house is made of ice like cristal.
I think there are two possibilities that would let makoto get back to the future.
One he uses the sacrifice technique Eir gave him on the demon lords and amas 1000 years worth of lifespan
Two get the time spirit to freeze time for him.
If I remember correctly the elf archer Johnny Walker was a spirit user
If Makoto was Johnny Walker, wouldnt that make him Lucy's grandpa? Also iirc Johnny was a rather well traveled individual, also the type of guy that wooed and slept with women everywhere he went. So the only real thing he has in common with Makoto is spirit magic.

Here's my take on this chapter.
It is said that they can bring Makoto 100 years to the past but not vice versa. Following this is Noah showing the power of time spirits.
SO my guess is Makoto saves Abel or becomes Abel and after doing that goes to the Sea temple to temporarily release Noah to let him go back to the present.
The reason why Noah is key here is because she was trapped for 1000 years in that temple meaning that unlike the other goddesses Noah is strong enough even with the presence of the Demons.
An alternative may be that Makoto grinds for an extra 100 years of life after saving Abel so that he can travel back into the future or Noah putting him in a cryogenic state making him go back. Too many time theories could be used but what's important is that godesses can manipulate time. Well we won't know for certain since the WN is ongoing.
I might also be just talking out of my ass and Noah is also weak during that period.
I’ve been wondering if there were only spirits of the 4 basic elements (water, fire, wind and earth) but this confirms that there are spirits of time, which means that there are probably spirits for space, light, lightning and darkness as well
With this spirit line-ups, I think these were based on Tales of Phantasia and Eteria's Spirits. If the Time Spirit has Maxwell as one of their avatars then this theory of mine will be a seal deal.

Hey wait a second, You're right! He might even achieve pseudo-immortality if he can use the same spell Noah used in this chapter. Immagine him using time spirits to stop/reverse time for himself while waiting 100 years for the Light godessess to gain strenght and then requesting to be sent to the future. He can just synchronize with past great sage then he can communicate with time spirits i think?
Just waiting for 100 years would be waste. It is Makoto we are talking about. Like the the grinding fanacic he is, I think that he will stop his own time and trains his water magic proficiency for 1,000 years. There are actually big chunks of ice around the Great Sage's house, so maybe it is Makoto's doing ?
So Makoto currently has the future of the world at the palm of his hands.
But, knowing how he usually acts he'll just casually go back to the past, casually help Abel defeat the great demon lord, casually go back in the future, and then act like he just went for a piss. －atleast I hope so.
