Since he's a hero so hes a substitute( damn yo pick the wrong opponent) well makoto was to become ahem unkillable creature.Damn it, Spirit king of water so my prediction on Zagan chapters where he enter the barrier was because hes half spirit.

That would be too late. There been attacked already, if my guess is right alex create a barrier which blocks all communication from the outside which would explain why noah's voice dissappear. So asking in that time. Would close too impossible, and since makoto knows that it's a trap, but he didn't know that he would be fighting against a demi - god. (And now we know that alex is a demi - god so removing it would be like bird cutting his wings, that would be great but ) , chances of his divinity getting from Ira is closer to none, why because of the law of divine realm. I don't think Ira would carelessly break too many law, as she already have break one( she's the destiny goddess so breaking one is enough already, breaking too many would be her digging her grave) . Which leads me to conclude that alex is born to have divinity with this holy gods not breaking their law and that's why Ira just teach him everything. (Cause he still a human a part of him). The only Fault is that Ira didn't saw, alex being manipulated by pope and used it caused too much trouble, I mean makoto and his party even sakurai. Well no one saw alex would do it. There is one more thing prove that Alex's power isn't from Ira. Ira is the Goddess of Fate, right? I don't think Fate power is suitable for fighting.
Yeah, but i think Ira's power is not limit to fate, but space and time. If i remember correctly( correct me if I'm wrong) in the zagan chapter when Sakurai was in danger, makoto ask Lucy to teleport him, which Lucy prays to Ira. So my guess would be she govern spacetime, fate, fortune/luck😃. Judging by it this fate can be use to in fighting in different way like precognition or clairvoyance.
Okay this the time where Furiae will force to know what feelings she have on makoto because makoto is either ganna die or will sleep/seal for eternity by the Holy gods that broke the law of spirit weapons. Okay the time that waiting, theorised that Furiae confess her feelings on makoto( i hope so).

I mean the half spirit may have played a part but I think the main thing was that the barrier was designed to keep out full mages and warriors but not apprentice mages cause it is not expected for an apprentice mage to be on such a high level battlefield lol.

Did anyone else see the word 'Sanity' in there? Was that ever there in other appraisals or...?
The only reason why Makoto keeps his sanity was his skill,it was say that a human can't have more that 100 of proficiency in any element the reason is because their minds will broken.
...Uh, I was more asking if ''Sanity" was ever in the past appraisals cause I couldn't remember if it was in previous chapters and way less of Makoto's sanity.
As far as we know the only ones that showed the appraisal skill are Fuji and The Great Sage but they didn't talk about it.

That is true but there is another reason after 100 proficiency people unlock spirit magic that is more powerful that normal magic a person with that powerful magic sometimes lose his sanity to reach that power and becomes a danger for humans.
Sanity is important that's why the Gods banned spirit magic

The holy goddesses spread information that the limit to calming skills like calm mind is 99% (when it's actually 100%). The reason being is that if a human set the skill to 100% too often then they risk losing their emotions over time.
Mages can see spirits if they get at least 100 magic proficiency in said element (they don't get the spirit magic skill). Spirit magic is something else entirely. Only a few elves have that skill innately and Makoto got it from being an apostle for Noah.
First I never was talking about the skill of Makoto ,is true that if he use it at 100% he can lose his emotions.
Second he has his magic from Noah but is also true check previous chapters that there are no magicians who use spirit magic among humans, because it is prohibited by the Olympians, there is no human who has more than 100 proficiency in any element is considered taboo but the real reason is because someone who exceeds 100 can speak with the spirits and therefore get to use spirit magic, said magic is very powerful and can be devastating because the user can lose control (his sanity) as seen the first time Makoto turned his arm, but it has been made clear that He is able to use spirit magic more easily due to his unique abilities.
I don't think you are understanding what I mean. Believers of holy goddesses cannot use spirit magic because their holy aura repulses and repels spirits like insect repellant. They can see spirits at 100, but will not be able to talk to them or use them without the skill.
Lucy and Rosalie are not believers of the holy goddesses and both have the spirit magic skill (from Johnny their ancestor). Spirits love titan gods which is why when Noah appeared in Fire Country Makoto sensed the wind spirits reacting with joy. Rosalie on the other and forcibly summons spirits to her instead of asking like Makoto. I understand if you mean that not only titan gods followers can use spirit magic, but spirits are the weapons for titan gods (said in this chapter). There will be a clear difference between a follower of a titan god and one who is not with likeability with spirits of any type.
Whether or not they can use spirit magic is irrelevant, as you well know you can change your faith to a different god as if you were changing shoes.
But it is a fact that after reaching 100 proficiency they can listen to the spirits and for that reason it is taboo to exceed 100 (of course humans do not know the real reason)
About the believers of the Olympics not being able to use spirit magic .... I'm not so sure how it works maybe the same if you abandon your faith it is possible to use that type of magic, the main problem is that humans believe that the ancient gods are evil beings.
But you sure remember that Eir mentioned that it was possible to become Ira's believer to get transportation magic and become Noah's believer again, so both magics are not incompatible.
Actually, this topic will be soon discused, I won't spoiler but your statements haven't been proven in the future chapters or rather there is another reason for why there is a limit to 100 proficiency.
It is not my theory, it is simple information said in the novel, if the reason why it is considered taboo to have more than 100 proficiency changes then it is the responsibility of the author.
Same case that the resurrection issue had been said that only Noel can resurrect Sakurai (Sa-san can resurrect herself with her unique ability) not even Ira could do it as payment of the favor she owed Makoto ... ... and then we have this last chapter where the Spiritl king died (bullshit) and out of nowhere Ira begins to resurrect him.
If I recall, it isn't taboo to have proficiency over 100 at all. It's just extremely rare.
The reason it's extremely rare is because it is taboo to modify your soul book to show proficiency above the 99 cap. You can have high magic proficiency all you want.
