I have no doubt that Noah will be able to do something since she did mark herself on his arm. Not sure if Makoto removed her ability to control him or just his limiter but I'm guessing Alex's divinity is what is interfering with her being able to talk to Makoto.
If Alex stops generating it (through death or unconsciousness), I can see Noah able to bring Makoto back to sanity somewhat but not sure if he'd still be considered human after that?

So Alex called Ira-sama as his teacher eh? That makes him someone or something that has a relation with the Gods i guess. He even said himself that he blew off a mountain with a single attack, i doubt that there's a human who could do that without a very long training (Except Makoto, of course. He can call a natural disaster at will anyway lol)

Well think about it. There was a demi - god hiding in the mortal world. And it already mess with humans( sakurai and many more. ) if he's truly a goddess of justice he would allow it, but i think makoto power would be strip. Or like erasing his spirit king form. Because it's a treat. The blame would be on the pokantsu goddess who didn't stop alex. Then if not then i don't anymore i will hate the holy gods if Athena won't be fair.

From the real-world legend, I think that the father of Alex, Noah, Ira and Althena is Jupiter, so Alex is Althena's little brother. There is a part of fault is hers and Ira for don't teach Alex well and let he attack Makoto's team and kill Aya - Makoto's friend, causing Makoto activate Water Spirit King form. Althena is also known for Goddess of Justice, if she execute Makoto then there will be no fairness to him and his team, which is unacceptable for "symbol of Justice". I think Althena will give Makoto merciness with one condition: his Water Spirit King form have to be sealed forever, then she will do something to compensate him and his team.

They would have to eliminate all LIFE cause all plants and animals contain water. So basically unless you completely destroy the world you aren't killing Makoto in Spirit King mode lol.
It would be impossible as even air has amount of water vapour, but it will weaken him if all the world's water is eliminated. Much like what was done to Kronos whose body was disintegrated and scattered across Tartarus
I'd say it's unlikely, as it probably has to do more with the spirits giving him infinite power than the water itself, but only the author knows for sure.
He said that Esther was his teacher, he doesn't seems to know she's Ira in "perpetual descent", was it?. In fact that seems to be the reason he previously obeyed her; 'cause Esther (not Ira) is his teacher.
On the other hand, the more I read the more I wonder what the heck is he, he has a divinity and can use God Rank magic, but he doesn't seems to be a God proper, otherwise he wouldn't have listened to the Pope and/or go against Makoto.
About his divinity I first thought Ira had put her divinity there in other to hide it, but if her Idol activities and Alex's appearances say something is that you can hide by "suppressing" it.
It looks like he might be a demigod by greco-roman standards (not that that's the only influence in this mythology tho, srsly google "Althena"), but he's clearly separated from the God's realm.
I'm also worried about the price it'll take to turn Makoto back to human; in one hand o lot of people hold some sort of responsibility, Noah, Eir, Ira, the Pope, Alex, etc.; on the other hand humans usually have the short end of the stick when that happens, and Makoto himself is in a pretty bad position now.
Yep demigod more like it. In myths they said Alexander was a son of Zeus. That's the only explanation that can fit, but origins and circumstances is a big question mark.
I think so too. Alex did not know that Esther was actually Makoto. And he actually thought that was "negotiating" when it was blackmailing and threats. Shows a lot about who influenced him (Pope).
For Makoto, I am not too worried if he's dead since Esther (Ira) still owes him and there's Noel. Both of them have resurrection spells that has been foreshadowed since Geralt's death from berserk Makoto.

This just my thoughts ;
1. Is Let's go back to Wood County's hero ;according to him esther is kind and not so arrogant but now half year she change her personality( if I remember it correctly). And now we know her personality change into, now we know Ira. Coincidentally that alex appears it at same time where Esther just change personality( Constant Descent ) so maybe that time is where alex is born,( which would be explain why alex at that time is like zombie where he's so quiet). That time Where alex is born Ira is already Descending to Esther [which would explain why Alex is listening to Esther but since he a new born child that listen to his parent/guardian (teacher whatever is it he called her) at the time where he atempt to attack the moon oracle by the order of esther at the first revelation pn makotos identity s an apostle] . Thinking about it more, since he already taught by esther(Ira) on first moment he born so of course he would not suspect that was Ira ( i can be wrong, since in this chapter he reveals that he's a god that has divinity and the sun hero)it could be he knows it already , that was a goddess. This thought can be proved by alex personality is similar to esther(Ira) quite arrogant (Prideful idiot) which unlikely to esther(not Ira) who known by the wood hero in the past. Back to your point he didn't know the "perpectual Descent", i think he knows it. Considering this chapter that he proclaimed he has divinity (demi - god) .
2. "pope - jiichan" okay first he's a demi - god ( not an actual one or lets just say not equal to ira or athenas power). So your right he's not a proper god but since that time he's still in the learning phase (well child mind) so that time he's still listening Esther (Ira) . Second is the "pope - jiichan" in this chapter, so my thoughts since he likely listen [second only esther(Ira)] to the pope and considered him his uncle, that would be that pope spoiled him(brainwash). That would explain why he listened to the pope. And this would proved that why he appeared out of nowhere in the Highland. As to the questions as how he grow up so fast? : that would be because it's magic or his a demi-god( with his divinity that would be possible) and his teacher teaches him how to control his power. And if I'm wrong, then i don't know anymore than this. Well my point in this long explanation is an theoretical evidence that proves : 1. Alex relationship towards Esther (ira)., 2. He know that was Ira constant Descent, 3. The question about how he appeared suddenly, 4. Why he listened to the pope ( pope- jiichan thingy).
