The personage that will one day guide us devilkin.
As long as there’s life in me, I will protect the Oracle-sama…Furiae-sama.
The devilkins of Laphroaig have been taught this since the time we were born.
Our divine Oracle-sama.
Even when we were oppressed and we had to sip on muddy water underground, seeing that figure of hers would heal our hearts.
She was our spiritual support.
But…one day, Furiae-sama was taken away by the Highland Knights.
We were in despair.
We won’t be able to meet the Oracle-sama again.
There were people who committed suicide thinking this.
Hopeless days continued.
However, Furiae-sama has returned to the Moon Country.
Aah, I am glad you are okay…Furiae-sama.
Thank you, Moon Goddess Naia-sama.
For letting us see our Oracle-sama once more.
When we met the other day, there was a black cat on her shoulder.
In the Moon Country, there’s no leeway to have familiars.
It is great to see that she has the leeway now, which is great to see.
It is also envying that it can be together with her the whole time.
If possible, I would like to serve by her side as well.
That’s most likely the same wish for all the devilkin here.
But what’s more important than anything else…is the happiness of Furiae-sama -that point alone is our hope.

Despite the elf girl complaining, the Guardian Knight still continued kissing her.

“Spirits…?” (Havel)
“Aah, Havel. My Knight is a Spirit User. Well, just watch.” (Furiae)
Furiae-sama responded to me. She pointed at the Guardian Knight man with her chin.
When I look over there…
“[Fireball].” (Makoto)
The name of the spell he spoke out was an elementary rank spell.
A basic spell that a devilkin could use the moment they are born.

At the same time as he said that, the tens of thousands of fireballs moved slowly as if enveloping the horde of monsters.
No, it just looks slow but, in reality, they are surrounding the monsters at frightening speed into a fire cage.
He is controlling these numbers all on his own?
That’s unbelievable.
But I could see with my eyes that the several tens of thousands of fireballs had a mana link with the Guardian Knight man.
Mana link is a technique to control your magic after you have shot it.
If you raise your magic proficiency, you can control a great amount of spells with mana link, but…I have never seen one of this scale and amount.

I could hear the screams of the monsters in the sky. Monsters that have been burned to cinders were falling into the ocean one after the other.

Furiae-sama and the city girl were looking at that with reluctant gazes.
But that’s all they did.
The two of them were accepting this sight as if it were normal.
I…couldn’t say a word.
The monsters were being shot one after the other.
There were some who had their magic tools for bombing ignited, and would explode in midair.
This demon lord army is on a scale that could probably bring down a city, but they are being overwhelmed without much they can do.
This is…the Guardian Knight of Furiae-sama.
It is vexing, but even with several hundreds of devilkins, we wouldn’t be able to replicate what he is doing.
“My Knight! Isn’t that enough?!” (Furiae)
“Right! There’s no need to kiss her anymore, right?!” (Aya)
“That’s not good. We have to synchronize more. Right, Makoto?” (Lucy)

They were having a carefree exchange, totally contrary to the terrifying spectacle in the sky.

The report ended with the conversation of General Yuwein and Captain Ortho.
I listened to this without interrupting.
My actions this time around were also against the plans.

As for the report of the other people, they were all about maintaining their forces.
But it looks like Zagan’s main forces have begun crossing the sea, and it feels like the war is about to finally begin in full now. There were several points where you could feel the prickliness of the situation.

There’s no clouds today, and I could see the stars clearly -the big moon as well.
I could hear the sounds of footsteps approaching me.
To be precise, I have noticed since a while ago, so I know who it is.

Achievements keep racking up even when he's sitting in the middle of nowhere. Technically, stealing the march on other heroes is exactly what Noah asked him to do.
Wonder if they're gonna send any more? It'd be a nice assistance to the war effort if he helped thin out the crowd for Sakurai a bit.
Speaking of, I think this is an official F for the Sakurai-Furiae ship. It was never too likely, but I still prefer it more. Further scenes might swing me the other way, but as it is, this is a sad development for me. Wonder if they can sync now...
They can sync already I think, check a few chapters back where Makoto freezes the sea.
Pretty sure their first sync was waaaaaaay back in his starting town when he froze monster stampede using sync to charm undine.
Yeah, I already thought that the ship would eventually sink the moment Author-san said that he intended to make Furi as the first introduced heroine in his twitter or LN commentary (you know what that implies), but officially confirming it in this chapter helps people that don't know that.

It would be amusing if Makoto actually let Clear Mind fall away completely, he would freak out pretty badly.
Nah, the Spirits like when people show more emotions which [Clear Mind] prevents. It's the difference of playing with someone emotionless and someone who is happy.
Setting Clear Mind to low values empowers his spells as explained earlier. But yeah, it was a perfect moment for some blushing comedy
I don't think it's wrong because spirit are more happy and help him more when he cancel clear mind.
Spirits respond better when you are completely open with your emotions. Noah taught him that ages ago. And he’s using fire spirits this time so clear mind 0% makes sense for the power boost.
That's not a typo. Clear Mind actually hinders his connection to the spirits, but opening himself up to them makes the spirits happy and makes it easier to ask for their help. So if he want to use Spirit Magic's full potential, he needs to disable Clear Mind altogether. But during this state, it was more likely for him to drastically influence the spirits through his emotion and can cause trouble (refer to vs Geralt chapter).

With 0% Clear Mind, I would think massacring thousands of beings would make him hesitate, or the recent Lucy kiss would make him flustered.

I don't expressly remember any cat girls, but they should exist. But it is true that Makoto's harem is lacking in catgirls. Makoto skipped over demi-human straight to monster-girl LOL.

Spoilers are future things that WILL happen. I merely told you your theory HASN'T happened... yet. Therefore I didn't spoil anything. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if it eventually does in as-yet unwritten chapters in the future. The story is actively being released after all, and I know know what will happen as far as currently written. Besides I sadly need to rely on MTLs for now for that. Proper translation is far better.
Also one person's comments ARE spoilers, but they wrote them as their theory. And MAYBE they only guessed this. But you aren't truly spoiled as long as you don't know who is theorizing, and who is stating something true... therefore I won't name them.

Confirming or denying something has happened still tells someone about how a story goes-and so I would say that is a spoiler because it establishes one thing that will absolutely not happen.
For me, anything that brings information that shouldn't be known to the reader yet is a spoiler (with the point of contention being what the line for "shouldn't" is, but that's technicalities not relevant here). If it's a part of the story that hasn't been translated and put here, it should be treated like it doesn't exist.

Confession time?
Thanks for the chapter. I suppose the Furiae x Makoto pairing is set in stone. All that remains is for her to confess her feelings, since there's no way in Hell Makoto will notice them on his own. Him casually shooting down the air troops with fire magic, and the pope and Ira's annoyed expressions were also a joy to read.
