That should be the long desire of the Titan Gods that are treated as Evil Gods.
If the believers of Noah-sama were to increase in numbers, the Titan Gods would be able to gain strength.
I thought I would be ordered to do it as if it was natural though…

I'm intrigue of the "time spirit", so how many Spirits there are? , man my gaming minds is in chaos 🤓😂. I can't wait makoto controls all the spirits in the world.
There still too few clues to make theory 🤔🤔
My theory is makoto will use time spirit to go back time or he freeze himself using time spirit that the great sage keep his body in the coffin.. (this is not spoiler thou probably because it is my theory)
There is a lot of hints when I reread the wn and the great sage knows the ability of makoto without using appraisal and she knows him that she always spoil him alot
I don't think he has that ability, to time freeze himself or time travel using time spirit cause you know he don't have an elemental affinity for space and time unless he was given an affinity by noah beforehand. But if not then controling time it's trouble like in the Griffon arc where makoto controls fire which his no affinity from it, then burn himself.
The thing is, on the fire spirits? That wasn't because he have no affinity with them. On the contrary, the fire spirits loved him. Problem is, they burn him on contact and they're very touchy feely. Combine that with the fact that the gryphon incident was before he can even see water spirits, that disaster was inevitable (at least with water spirits he only get drenched). When he did it again with a budding contract with Lucy (the attack on Makkaren) though, things went much better, because he can actually see them and get them to behave. And just before the Beast King, in Laphroaig ruins, it's clear that the water spirits get rather jealous when Makoto decided to use fire magic (read : ask the fire spirits for help).
So the question is, just how much of an affinity does Makoto have for spirits in general? At the very least, it's clear that he has great affinity with Fire and Water, he just lack innate sight for non-water spirits. And remember earlier, the Titan old man said that he's loved by spirits. He said this in general term, not just water spirit.
Good point, but just how would makoto to be able to access the the time spirit??, he can access the fire spirit because of lucy, ( body pact). That's the point in my word affinity(access) . True his love by spirits just like just in state of the titan giant but even thou he is love, there's still a consequence, controlling it,( just like in griffon arc, he was burned cause he was loved). Without access there's no proficient to train. How would makoto travel he's not so sure of how would he control it. In the fire spirit case, he had access to it and be able to request there power but still makoto is still having a hard time controlling it, how would makoto control it if he didn't experience controlling at first. If he was able to find someone in the past like lucy but have the power of time rather than fire. He needs a pact to it?? How makoto do it?? Or what will be the consequences of controlling time?? ( well he be stop aging, like in lucy case he burned) will the certain host help makoto travel back to the present?.🤓🤔🤔. If he was given an affinity ( access) beforehand, plot holes will be reduced and time travel be possible.
Yeah, that's our catch-22. To start using the spirits properly, he need to be able to see them. To be able to see them, he needs to be able to use the related magic. And to use the related magic he either need the proper magic skill..., or the spirit magic skill, but he can't use the spirits properly, bringing us back to the start. The only way to cut into the requirement loop is by somehow obtaining the related magic skill.
And really, the possible side effect of using time spirit blindly? Too many possibilities, some of which can be horrific. Maybe he'd end up with some sort of Merlin sickness.
There are spirits of everything in the world. Spirits of Volcanoes, Spirits of Space and Time. Heck, even those mad arsonist Spirits of Chili Tacos

Don't see why not. By the setting Spirits are "Titan Gods gave will to nature", and by how occasionally whaky Noah the Titan Goddess is I can see them giving will to things they like. And both Volcanoes and Tacos are deym hot and tend to magnificently go Bwoosh. Totally deserve a spirit with these antics

The regigigas titan ossan said in order for Makoto to see all spirits of any color, he would need to be a god. Otherwise he would need to have 100 or was it 105 magic proficiency in the skill. All spirits are interested in him according to Rosalie when they were alone together. Unlike Rosalie who forcefully teleports spirits to do her bidding, Makoto is a titan god believer and spirits really like him more so other spirit users it seems (he's an all around a nice guy not being domineering). The spirits like him a bit too much on the level of yandere lol.
Water spirits: lets stay together forever under the sea.
Fire spirits: let's burn together and party.
Makoto is really limited by the number of skills he has as a mortal. He only has water magic beginner. Time and teleport magic work differently than destiny magic is what I think. Lucy does not have teleportation skills, but was able to learn it. The only requirement seems to be having a large amount of mana and elves in this series is known to have plenty. So in due time, Makoto could learn it too by using the spirits mana.
If only he got fire magic beginner and wood magic beginner from their goddesses by saving those two countries.... our boy Makoto needs to catch a break. There's at least 7 goddesses, so maybe at least 7 different types of spirits like the Golden Sun gba series.
