WM – Chapter 363: Invitation Letter – Part 6

“Sun Goddess Althena-sama and…Moon Goddess Naia-sama…?” 

The 2 Goddesses that rarely show up have come to the Deep Sea Temple. 

That’s when I noticed and hurriedly kneel. 

“It has been a while, Althena-sama, Naia-sama! I was unaware that you two were present and suddenly intruded…” (Makoto)

I was about to continue speaking, but…

“There’s no need for such a stiff greeting at this point. Aren’t we close here?” (Althena)

Althena-sama put a hand on my shoulder. 

The hand she placed on my shoulder was burning hot because of Althena-sama’s anima. 

I didn’t notice when I was a human, but I am being overwhelmed by her presence even though she is just standing there. 

Overwhelming anima as if the sun has taken human form. 

“Fufu, it is rare to see you so nervous, Takatsuki Makoto.” (Althena)

“N-No…” (Makoto)

The ruler of the whole universe…the Sun Goddess, Althena-sama. 

She gave me the impression that she was cold when I first met her, but now she interacts with me in a friendly manner.

She is considered a strict goddess by the Goddess Church, but she is apparently originally like this. 

That’s what Noah-sama told me. 

“Ya, mine Oracle, Fu-chan. You are as refined as always. Why are you getting all serious about the man you like marrying a different woman? You can just steal him away with that beauty you are so proud of.” (Naia)

“Uhm…Naia…-sama? Steal him away… Charm doesn’t work on My Knight to begin with…” (Furiae)

“Oya oya, using -sama is rare of you. You always call me without that.” (Naia)

“That’s…uhm…” (Furiae)

Furiae-san is caught up by the Moon Goddess over there. 

Wait, isn’t that bad?!

Goddesses are normally way too holy, so your mind can’t endure looking at them directly. 

I can look at the Goddesses thanks to the perspective change of RPG Player, but Furiae-san and Momo are in danger. 

“Naia-sama! Princess!” (Makoto)

I was hurriedly going to stop them. 

“It seems to be okay, Makoto-sama.” (Momo)

Momo pulled the sleeves of my clothes. 

“Hm? Momo?” (Makoto)

Momo’s eyes are opened properly. 

Noah-sama is standing by her side. 

“Thanks, Dream Spirit-chan.” (Noah)

Noah-sama weaves words as if singing. 

There was a rainbow color mist hanging around by the time I noticed. 

“Noah-sama… What in the world is this?” (Makoto)

“Isn’t it inconvenient for only you to be able to see us? I have made this place a dream space, so that you don’t mistakenly see us directly. With this, everything will be hazy, and it will become a dream world where you won’t lose your mind even when looking at a Goddess directly☆.” (Noah)

Noah-sama said this as if nothing.

“I don’t really understand what you said that well… Do you, Momo?” (Makoto)

“This is just an assumption, but what the Goddess used was the God Rank spell, [Another World]…” (Momo)

“T-This is…?” (Makoto)

I have read about it in magic books. 

A God Rank spell that can become the strongest barrier and strongest sword by creating a small magic world around yourself. 

Of course, this is the first time I see it. 

“It is not such a hassle of a name. The Dream Spirits will do it at any time if you ask them, you know?” (Noah)

Noah-sama tilted her head cutely. 

This is the first time I learn of the Dream Spirit themselves though. 

{This Goddess is so insane.} (Momo)

{Yeah, she is.} (Makoto)

Momo and I were talking in a low voice. 

“I can hear you.” (Noah)

Noah-sama flicked the forehead of me and Momo. 

She can even read minds, so there was no point in talking in a low volume. 

Well, whichever the case, it is good that it is easier to talk with the Goddesses. 

Then, let’s accomplish my original objective. 

“Noah-sama, here.” (Makoto)

“…Hmm.” (Noah)

The moment I took out the wedding invitation from my pocket and gave it to Noah-sama, her face suddenly turned apathetic.

“……Noah-sama?” (Makoto)

“Makoto’s wedding, huh~.” (Noah)

She waved the invitation and said this in an unamused voice. 

“Uhm…can you come?” (Makoto)

“Hmm, what should I do~?” (Noah)

Noah-sama made a complicated expression and crossed her arms. 

No way! 

To think Noah-sama would refuse.

I didn’t expect that at all. 

I was shocked over here. 

“Oi oi, Noah, you are going to go anyway, so there’s no need to beat around the bush.” (Althena)

The one who interjected was Althena-sama. 

“Wait! Can you not assume that by yourself?! I am saying I am considering it here!” (Noah)

“I can see the future though. Don’t worry, Takatsuki Makoto. Noah will participate.” (Althena)

“Ah, I see. That’s a relief.” (Makoto)

“Hey! Don’t just tell him my answer!” (Noah)

Noah-sama drew a beautiful arc as she unleashed a roundhouse kick, but Althena-sama blocked it. 

Winds raged at that impact and I was on the verge of being blown away. 

“Kya!” 

Or more like, Furiae-san was blown away. 

“Dia!” (Makoto)

“Ye~s.” (Dia)

The Great Water Spirit caught Furiae-san who was on the verge of flying away. 

“You always say unnecessary things!” (Noah)

“Troublesome women are hated, Noah.” (Althena)

“Who are you calling a troublesome woman?!” (Noah)

Noah-sama let out punches at the speed of light and Althena-sama deflected them with a smile. 

Each and every one of the punches of Noah-sama has enough mana to crush the moon into smithereens. 

I would most likely be turned to dust if I were caught in that. 

“Why is your Goddess fighting the Sun Goddess…?” (Furiae)

Furiae-san wobbled her way here. 

The Moon Goddess went ‘Ooi, that looks fun. Let me in~.’ And jumped into the fight(?) of Noah-sama and Althena-sama. 

“Should we wait for a bit?” (Momo)

Momo said this.

“Yeah.” (Makoto)

“That was a horrible experience.” (Furiae)

Furiae-san and I watched the playing around between Goddesses that’s on the level of what’s shown in mythological stories.

“Makoto, I shall participate in your wedding in the name of the Goddess Noah! Be grateful!” (Noah)

“Thank you very much, Noah-sama. I am truly relieved that you have agreed.” (Makoto)

Althena-sama has told me beforehand that Noah-sama will be participating, but that’s an aside. 

Such formalities are important. 

“How about you two, Sun Goddess-sama and Moon Goddess-sama?” (Makoto)

I gave invitations to the other two Goddesses. 

“I would like to, but I am being called by around 17 worlds that are on the verge of destruction, so I will participate if I have the time.” (Althena)

“Please prioritize those worlds!” (Makoto)

I said without hesitation. 

Or more like, 17 worlds are on the verge of destruction…? 

Is it okay for Althena-sama to be chatting here? 

“Hmm, as for me~, I will go if I feel like it.” (Naia)

The response of the Moon Goddess was indifferent. 

The ‘I will go if I can’.

“Then, I will be waiting.” (Makoto)

I would like them to come if they can. 

But the ones deciding that are the Goddesses. 

I have finished delivering almost all of my invitations now. 

Next is… Princess Sofia will be the one contacting the Water Goddess.

The remaining one is…

(Ira-sama, huh.) (Makoto)

Ira-sama calls me once every 3 days. 

So that I help her when she can’t handle all the work. 

I can just give it to her then. 

Now then, I was about to finish my greetings to Noah-sama and leave, but…

“By the way, Noah, how about deciding your Oracle and Hero already?” (Althena)

Althena-sama said this. 

“Eeh, I have Makoto as my Apostle, so isn’t it fine?” (Noah)

Noah-sama answered as if finding this a hassle. 

“Listen here, Noah. You are an official worship Goddess of the Goddess Church. At least choose an Oracle.” (Althena)

“That’s right. You are a Goddess that does less work than me right now, Noah.” (Naia)

“Shut up.” (Noah)

Noah-sama acted as if it was none of her business even when Althena-sama and Naia-sama told her this. 

“In the first place, how are you planning on participating in the wedding at the Water Country without an Oracle?” (Althena)

“I can just descend directly, right?” (Noah)

“You obviously can’t! It would have been another story if it were at the time when you were sealed, but now that you have regained your powers, if you were to descend directly on the mortal realm, the natural environment of the mortal realm would change in an instant!” (Althena)

“That much is fine.” (Noah)

“As if! I definitely won’t forgive a direct descend. You must choose an Oracle by the time the wedding of Takatsuki Makoto happens. Got it?!” (Althena)

“Yeah~.” (Noah)

(It became bigger than I thought…) (Makoto)

Looks like Noah-sama will have to decide on an Oracle if she wants to participate in the wedding. 

But Noah-sama has no intention of choosing one. 

Hmm, was I a bit pushy on Noah-sama?

I was reflecting a bit here and…

“Well, I actually have already decided on a candidate for Oracle though.” (Noah)

“Eh?” 

“What?” 

“Heeh~.”

I raised my voice in surprise, and Althena-sama and Naia-sama showed expressions of disbelief in their own ways. 

“Who is it, Noah-sama?” (Makoto)

To think there would be an Oracle candidate.

“Eeh, are you curious? Wanna know? Wanna, Makoto?” (Noah)

“……”

Yeah, I do feel like Noah-sama has become a bit of a troublesome woman. 

“Muh, Noah has blocked her future. I can’t read her future.” (Althena)

“Althena-kun can’t read her future…? As unreasonable as always, Noah-kun.” (Naia)

Looks like even Althena-sama doesn’t know. 

“Is it someone I know?” (Makoto)

I am sure I will be having more interactions with that person as the Apostle of Noah-sama. 

I would like it to be someone who I can get along with. 

She must have read that thought of mine.

“There’s no need to worry, Makoto. It is someone you know well.” (Noah)

Noah-sama declared. 

“A girl I know well, huh…” (Makoto)

The ones that come to mind on the fly are Lucy and Sa-san. 

Also Princess Sofia…but she is the Water Oracle, so that’s a no. 

That goes for Furiae-san as well. 

“Is it Lucy or Sa-san?” (Makoto)

I ask, but…

“Obviously no.” (Noah)

It was shot down in an instant. 

So that wasn’t it. 

“An Oracle obviously needs to have a pure body! The teachings of the Goddess Church say so too! Why do I have to make a woman that you have put your grubby hands on as an Oracle?!” (Noah)

“No, there’s no such Divine Regulation… That was a rule that the people of the mortal realm added for their own convenience.” (Althena)

Althena-sama retorted to Noah-sama. 

“And so, this will be the first time I will be making contact with that person, but……” (Noah)

Noah-sama said this and looked over here.

Not me, but…the one by my side. 

Noah-sama spoke to Momo who was listening while spacing out. 

“Hey, Momo-chan, want to become my Oracle?” (Noah)
