Tsuki – Chapter 415: Pillow Talk

TLN: Double Chapter today! Make sure you didn’t miss the previous one!

“Isn’t it okay?” (Tomoe)

The one who answered my question immediately was Tomoe.

“Yeah…I think?” (Makoto)

I was thinking about answering with that same energy, but I ended up questioning myself at the end.

It must mean that there’s still some doubt remaining in me.

“It is something that you thought of and decided, Waka. Of course, I won’t be nodding at everything unconditionally, but…I agree with this.” (Tomoe)

The discussion regarding Levi.

After speaking with all of my followers at dinner, Tomoe and everyone else agreed with not giving that much of a heavy punishment to Levi.

A few months of manual labour, an apology pilgrimage, and suspended from participating in the Asora Rankings temporarily.

No imprisonment, penal servitude, or fine.

Ema, who coincidentally was present tonight as well, had a smile that was a bit scary though…

As if something was leaking.

She wasn’t wishing for the capital punishment here, but she was wishing for a decent degree of penal servitude.

Looks like she thinks going against my orders deserves heavy punishment.

Mio was operating as usual, concentrating on the results of the meal and the reactions of everyone. It seems like she has no interest in the crime of Levi.

She simply didn’t care since I had forgiven her.

Shiki and Tamaki commented that the punishment was acceptable.

Now that there’s a somewhat assured method of resurrection, it isn’t a strange thing to rethink the punishment of killing.

Ah, but…the first ones who agreed: Tomoe, Shiki, and Tamaki; they agreed to it with the condition that there won’t be any rethinking in the matter of going against my orders.

“If I were to say I would eliminate the very idea of considering going against my orders a crime, would you have agreed, Tomoe?” (Makoto)

Was that really okay?

I looked at Tomoe who had answered me when I suddenly woke up and spoke while looking at the ceiling without expecting a response.

I say that, but I simply looked at the side since Tomoe was by my side.

“…About that, I would have been against it. Most likely, Tamaki as well. But I think Mio and Shiki would have still agreed with it.” (Tomoe)

When I looked at the opposite side, Mio was sleeping silently there.

A satisfied sleeping face.

It truly is pleasing to see.

She has a thin blanket on, but she is naked below, so the line of her body shows clearly.

She is incredibly charming, but I have gotten used to it bit by bit, and now I am able to look directly at her.

Tomoe and I are also naked.

It is a normal sight in this world where polygamy is accepted.

I obviously have no regrets in the fact that I am now in this kind of relationship with Tomoe and Mio.

But…

“Hey, Tomoe…” (Makoto)

“It is a natural thing. There’s no need to worry about it.” (Tomoe)

“…Don’t read my mind for stuff like this.” (Makoto)

“I won’t peek at your thoughts and memories without your permission. It was simply a cute joke from guessing through your expression.” (Tomoe)

I was about to ask if passing nights with the two at the same time fell into the line of normal, but she answered me beforehand.

Don’t mind it.

It is natural.

But she isn’t saying it is something normal.

Good grief.

Despite this being my first time with this topic, the main issue gets deviated.

I held back from sighing and tried reprimanding her there, but she was strangely cute, and in the latter half, she responded seductively.

In the first place, you shouldn’t be reading my mind, no matter the method.

“And so, why is there a need for it to be considered a crime to go against my orders?” (Makoto)

“It is simple. In the future, there will be laws placed in Asora, and there may be chiefs in those areas, but having Waka as the symbol of an absolute being is convenient.” (Tomoe)

“Me, symbol?” (Makoto)

“You lack awareness as an absolute ruler, Waka.” (Tomoe)

“Uh.” (Makoto)

“Well, that can’t be helped. It is not like it was something you wished for or had some sort of enlightenment either. As you are currently, you would enter the ranks of a normal person who has overwhelming power everywhere. However, Waka’s position is beginning to solidify, especially in Asora -including this time’s matter.” (Tomoe)

This time’s matter.

There’s even people who are calling it the revolt of Levi.

It is troubling.

“You don’t need to decide on a punishment at each occasion. You can pass it onto us. What’s important is the crime of disobeying. The punishment can be a few smacks on the butt all the way to decapitation.” (Tomoe)

“Aah, so that’s what it was. No matter if there’s laws or not, at worst, I can do as I wish to anyone legally. One foundation for that is the entry for lese-majeste, and the reason why it is needed, huh.” (Makoto)

“Right. Normally, it would be okay not to do anything, but…now that those flying insects that are the Al-Emera and the adventurer visitors are increasing, problems might happen if the residents hold too selfish thoughts. We are simply shooting first.” (Tomoe)

“I would prefer being a lord with a dim presence like the first time I told you though.” (Makoto)

“Fufu, that’s nostalgic. Was Mio already there when you said that? If I remember correctly…it was before we decided on calling you Waka.” (Tomoe)

“I saw the fearsomeness of peer pressure there.” (Makoto)

“Fuh. You could have changed things with your absolute vote, and yet, you didn’t do that, my Lord. It is charming, and at the same time, dangerous. It was a colorful memory.” (Tomoe)

At that time, did she purposely show me how dangerous and unreasonable a majority vote through residents can be?

That’s possible for Tomoe.

She doesn’t seem to like democracy that much after all.

It is true that I also currently don’t think plain democracy is the correct choice.

In Asora and Tsige, even if I were to be approached with the pressure of numbers, as long as I don’t acknowledge it, I won’t follow what they want.

Obeying the majority in every single thing feels a bit wrong.

You could even say that’s just how unaccepting I am though.

“Good grief, I don’t know if you are kind or strict.” (Makoto)

I know she is kind.

I can also tell that she is strict to protect.

She is like a strict big sis that’s tender.

“I am truly glad to have made a pact with you. Thanks.” (Makoto)

“In the first place, this isn’t the country Waka was in after all. There’s the need for a certain degree of rules for the inhabitants that don’t understand that the landlord can kick their butt. If like in that world, we have a pointless amount of residents staying and stick—eh?” (Tomoe)

“It took an incredibly long time to reach this point, and I don’t think it is enough yet. Even so, I treasure the fact that I met you and made a pact with you, Tomoe. From here on, and forever.” (Makoto)

“W-Waka?!” (Tomoe)

Tomoe was panicking and her cheeks flushed.

Nice.

“I am always the one who gets all red. Having you make that face every once in a while ain’t bad.” (Makoto)

“Stop teasing me…well, it is not teasing, and that’s why it is troubling. My heart dances every day being by your side as well. I too am thankful that you made a pact with me. I will be under your care from now on, as a follower and as a woman.” (Tomoe)

“! You are bringing customs from my world again!” (Makoto)

“…Waka-sama, and me? What about me?” (Mio)

“Of course, I treasure you greatly too, Mio. Sorry, did I wake you up?” (Makoto)

Did we talk for too long?

I didn’t intend on talking to the point of waking up Mio.

I ended up getting too into this talk about the past.

“You seemed to be having fun while talking after all.” (Mio)

Mio joins in on coiling around me together with Tomoe.

The density has increased in a variety of meanings.

“We simply woke up for a bit and were having a consultation-ja yo.” (Tomoe)

“The words exchanged between a man and a woman in bed are called pillow talks.” (Mio)

“Hm?” (Makoto)

“I want to be part of it.” (Mio)

“No, this isn’t something as extravagant as a pillow talk… It is mostly over too…” (Makoto)

“Haha, looks like it can’t be helped, Waka. Let’s whisper intimacies until the light grows.” (Tomoe)

“It is called pillow talk, Tomoe-san.” (Mio)

“Ooh, right-ja na. Sorry sorry. Then, right, since it is about time, how about talking about the time when Mio began cooking—” (Tomoe)

“I-I won’t let you!” (Mio)

Ooh.

Looks like I won’t be able to sleep today.

I did work pretty hard today, so I do have a comfortable degree of fatigue and drowsiness, but now that it has come to this, it can’t be helped.

Nothing wrong with one all-nighter.

These kinds of nights every now and then are not that bad.

    1. Makoto and tomoe naked on the bed, i cannot imagine other things than an onee-san and a shota kun was sharing the bed that night

      1. Unfortunately I have that same mental image in my head, because the author or illustrator seemingly doesn’t want Makoto to physically age pass the age of 14.

Makoto is in his 20’s, but looks he just entered into his teens. 😒

      2. Onee-san is still good.
After a lot of manga chapter, i can’t picture Tomoe as cute girl. In my head, she’s like warrior type that can give you death by snu-snu.

      3. Hokoga – when you think about it, it might be because during his growth period on Earth, his body was busy just trying to survive, so it might have stunted his growth?
        Or he’s just smol naturally…

      4. @MrPriest
I’ve had that same theory for awhile now, which is why I said that the author might not want him to physically mature.

I hope this gets addressed later.

  1. Oh? Never thought I would see some lovey-dovey moments in Tsuki. Even when the relationships were confirmed, the author didn’t insist too much on that…
It was satisfying though, please give us more of those 😀

    Thanks for the chapter!

  2. A romantic chapter, even if it is a polygamic relationship I feel that Mio is the favorite I say since it was the first with Makoto, the truth is that Mio will be the first to get pregnant.
Speaking of the laws of Asora, will Makoto ever be immortal? since I am completely sure that they will make him a god. Tamaki just watching him to see if he meets the requirements?

    1. I also think Mio is going to be the first to get pregnant.
      ____
Mio suddenly goes into labor and gives birth, EVERYONE is shocked.

Everyone(except for alkes): “YOU WERE PREGNANT!?”

Mio: “Yes. I have been pregnant for almost a month.”

Shiki: “But you didn’t look pregnant..”
Makoto: “And why didn’t you say anything?”

Mio: “That’s because I was in my human form, but if I was in my original form it would have been more obvious. Also I wanted it to be a surprise, but… admittedly I a little sad that Waka-sama didn’t notice that I have been a bit of a glutton recently.”

      Literally Everyone’s Thoughts: (YOU’VE ALWAYS BEEN A F#*KING GLUTTON!!)

Makoto silently stares at the damn-near 300 newborn babies that Mio somehow gave birth to all at once.

Mio suddenly gets worried seeing him and tells him.

Mio: “Don’t worry Waka-sama. All of those little ones are the result of us repeatedly expressing our love for each other” 😘

Makoto after longer entertaining the thought of Mio being an asexual creature: “……!!!” 😨
      ____

Me the reader: “HA! That’s what you get for carelessly rawdogging a Monster Spider!” (Insert maniacal laughter emoji)

  3. Wow thanks a lot for the chapter, and even if it’s not a direct comparison what Tomoe proposed sounds a bit like the Roman republic with a silent dictator.
There is a sort of democracy… sort of but whenever the dictator sweeps in all obey.
    It works…

    1. Too be fair there is nothing like pure democracy even in our world were a lot of country are decretory they are not pure democracy but republics with representative, pure democracy is stupid and will only lead to chaos.

      1. Any form of democracy is a cradle for tyrants, the fact that humans are so easily misled makes it so that democracy fuels the aspirations of power-seeking individuals. There is a novel i find quiet funny, God visits earth and when asked by an interviewer what the beat form of government is, He answers that being an absolute despot himself, he condones the absolutism of a benevolent dictator. As hard as that might be in practice.

  4. Thanks for double chapter!
I expected that they would drop Levi on a dangerous place and ser if she returned with all limbs as punishment, or just exile her

  5. Thanks for the double chapters~

Now I wonder how’s the other 2 summoned heros doing? I don’t even remember their name anymore, but I know at least after the Aspostle lost to Makoto they don’t have anyone who can potentially beat him beside the Godde-…da Hoe, and I know this is the calm before the storm but. . .this is too calming

  6. And although I love chapters like this one, I have a bad feeling about the storm that will eventually come to them

  7. Damn that was unexpectedly cute and… wholesome? Also, my respect to Makoto, the most gentle god-king there’ll ever be.
As always, my utmost admiration for the hard work Reigo-san is putting in.

  8. I feel like the major reason why Makoto is against lese majeste and being a dictator-like being is due to BUG (Artemis my speculation). The BUG is the type of god to enact capital punishment for not aligning with her own aesthetics or opinions just like how she threw Makoto to the wastelands and thousands of meters in the air to nearly kill him.

I think what Makoto wants is some form of democracy in domestic affairs with a constitutional monarchy. Makoto really has come a long way, it takes real character development for an Isekai protagonist to admit that following Japan’s path is not going to work in the Isekai world.

Interesting how the followers are divided on this issue and hot their background plays into it. Tomoe/Tamaki on the side for enforcing his will, while Mio/ Shiki on the other for leniency. Tomoe/Tamaki are like administrative experts compared to the liberal arts for Mio/Shiki.

    1. i feel like Makoto could aim for something like Thailand’s Monarchy? I mean the King is revered and loved by all but the government is run like a democracy with special veto powers from the King who barely uses the authority..

    2. I agree with almost everything you said. For me, the goddess is definitely Afrodite:

      1- Overattachment on beauty;

      2- Calling Tsukuyomi a “mere moon god” in the beggining;

      1. I can understand why you think so, but I choose against Aphrodite due to BUG being a maiden god like Athena. BUG freaked out when Makoto came close to her and said what would he do if she got pregnant in the prologue meeting. Then Hibiki’s cheats are hunting based to her wolf companion and outfit, then Tomoki’s invincibility based on the moon or night. Then lightening being used by Apostles, which if she is Zeus’ daughter, then it would explain that somewhat.

Aphrodite is not a virgin or maiden…. she actually slept with a number of gods and mortals. At the very least I think she is more flexible than BUG is. Funny thing is that all young girls are followers of Artemis then once they grow into womanhood (periods) they become followers of Aphrodite. So in a way, Aphrodite is always stealing followers from Artemis. lol

        1. Oh, I see! It would be quite something if she was artemis… crushing the goddess of hunting in an archery contest? Glorious!

  9. Finally! Something that doesn’t feel like a frickin filler chapter!

Can’t say I’m too happy with a romantic one, but this is way better than before.

    Thanks for the chapter!

  10. Finally. I have been waiting for so long for this chapter. And it was even better than what i expected. These are the kind of things i do enjoy. The relationship between those 3, matter about hibiki and tomoki, and things of the goddes. Not all that boring thing about merchants adventurers and students.

Thanx for the chapters i am really grateful

  11. Great chapter am I the only one still bothered by how this talk almost seems like an foreboding of trashmoki getting his way with charm into tomoe? I hope author Sama do not do that move pleaser

Pd: o.o why Everytime I picture the 3 on bed cannot take out of my head lime saying how scary(big) makoto little friend is and his ridiculous stamina in bed poor girls if he ever decide to take an free weekend

    1. I am afraid it is just you. No need for that insecurity, my friend.

Tomoki could not charm her prior to her power boost from the underworld dragon and now its even more unlikely (gaining new powers over diseases, death, resurrection etc). Asora is also working on vaccine or cure for charm. Tamaki’s extraction of the charmed state seem similar to a viral infection that she took from the Forest Oni girl that was partially affected.

Makoto > BUG > The Apostle Makoto killed > The male apostle named Guy > Hibiki > Tomoki

  12. Thanks for the double chapter!
I like more the Asora developments than the ones in Tsige.
And this pillow talk chapter was especially welcomed!

  13. Hoho! I see someone has an active night life. No wonder Lime practically worships Makoto now. It’s good that Makoto isn’t like most Japanese MCs where even if they’re in a relationship, they get so embarrassed that they can barely kiss or hold hands without their faces turning red. At the same time it isn’t like some LNs where the plot revolves almost exclusively around sex and it’s just constant ecchi scenes that are described. Here we’re shown that Makoto does have an active sex life but it isn’t the main focus.

Anyways it sorta sounds like Makoto wants to make Asora into something like a constitutional monarchy. He realizes that having a pure democracy like back in Japan can’t work in this world. Even if he tried to make a pure democracy the hyumans that Makoto hopes to have immigrate to Asora come from a culture where the power of nobles and royalty are absolute so it would be a major culture shock to have them switch to a democracy and also Makoto is so vastly overpowered that he’d end up always looming in the minds of people who’d put huge importance to his opinions and stuff anyways. This is why Hibiki is most likely doomed to fail. She’s trying to force her ideal of a democracy like Japan onto Limia. She’s not taking into account the culture of Limia and practically ignoring the old noble families who are starting to band together and seemingly getting ready to wage a civil war because Hibiki is threatening to take away ALL their power when she talks about how Limia should be a democracy. She thinks that she is correct and ignoring others’ opinions. At the same time she is nowhere near strong enough to force the changes she wants with overwhelming power nor charismatic enough to sway everyone to her side. She’s only managed to convince impressionable young people with no real life experience and no real political clout.

    1. From what you say he assures me that the demons will win the war. If a civil war breaks out between the nobility and the monarchy, the nobility (who have lost faith in the goddess) have to negotiate with the demons to kill the apostle and Hibiki, thus disappearing the King and distributing lands. Tomoki will surely self-destruct by overloading himself with magic, perhaps causing grotesque mutations in him with the women he infected and Gritonia will be known as the country of mutants with toxic stenches, Princess Lily can save few with her new inventions but not They will be able to erase the humiliation of losing the hero or their country, they will receive the treatment that Eva and Ruria received in the past for not dying with their country.

      1. the worst ending for Tomoki to be immortal and overloaded with magic, he will mutate into something horrible without the ability to die

  14. It’s been a bit slow lately with all this political development, but I really appreciate that they take some time to explain why they are doing things this way.
Makoto is slowly understanding that it’s not always possible to adapt Japan’s logic to this world, specially into Asora’s management.
I’m sure this’ll become very important later on, when he inevitably confronts the hyuman kingdoms’ and specially Hibiki’s viewpoints.

  15. Huh, wait I caught up!!? Yay and let me tell this, damn it was long, I saw a lot of people in the comments as I went through the chapters, a super fast bird who died in the middle, a nepu who kept running over a spoiler, and SERIOUSLY STUPIDLY LONG EXPLAINATIONS, Like wth😤, anyway I’m finally where everyone is in this place and Thanks Rengokai senpai and Ya….. something senpai. PEACE✌

  16. Thanks for the chapter! ^^
Will the most important decisions be made at night?
On a serious note, his status in Asora is that of a god so yeah, going against his orders is something they can let slide.
Also wonder when will come his time for his grand reveal as Asora’s ruler and demi-god status to the hyuman world?

  17. Our Almost brainless boy Makoto is finally growing up to have more sense that is his and not someones else.

Petty glad they are together but im still mad at that guy whom i forgat the name and is the character i most hate that pushing even do we were almost at a point of makoto accepting being in a 3 way relationship.

          1. Bro i ment like makoto almost solved his relationship and how he was gona be with Mio and Tomoe.

Maybe im dumb and is not called 3 way. Because he is with 2 people plus him. Yeah i think im wrong.

          2. 305, he first has Mio, Until daylight. Then Tomoe walks in like, you showed me quite a show, my turn. Then at noon Mio and Tomoe start a fight over it, and the whole of Asora learns that Makoto is a monster in bed as well.

        1. Oh, this. At this point I think Makoto accepted the fact that he’s in a polygamous relationship. I thought there were some shenanigans with Root I didn’t remember.

Well… While I’m not the fan of that dynamic, I respect the author for actually hooking up the MC instead of leaving him dense/not answering given affection. Also, I think that moving up their relation that way served as an important character development for Makoto.
At least how I see it…

    1. The mc still thinks about morality, it’s a little annoying and I imagine that Tomoe is already tired of that insecurity of his, I think the problem is that the author is very patriotic and involved Japan a lot in this isekai

        1. I think that tomoki didnt vuck lily at all coz its never mentioned in novel, the one from manga is purely different canon it self. Well its up to you which is true

      1. I’m fairly sure there is zero chance of sari being up to anything. She’s convinced that the only hope of the entire demon races survival depends on not making Makoto antagonistic. Tomoki is most likely a “test” sent by the gods, but what kind, I don’t yet know. Given she was a present from Shiva, I keep wondering if she’s Kali.

        1. Tomoki is most likely a “test” sent by the gods, but what kind, I don’t yet know. Given she was a present from Shiva, I keep wondering if she’s Kali.

          Tamaki.

          Tomoki is trash hero.

    Smooth af.
    Makoto becoming a chad.

    Endless stamina.

  19. Damn, the author finally remembers to portrait the intimate interactions between Makoto, Tomoe and Mio.
    Anyway, it’s so sweet.
    Thanks for the chapter.

  20. I love this chapter cause its really sweet and shows how the relationship between those 3 is progressing.

Really author has been wasting time and chapter on lousy characters nobody care and has totally forgotten to talk about mio and tomoe. Specially in their new daily live as lovers of makoto

    1. The other characters need to have development. Mainly because if they showed up out of no where. People would be wondering who are these people and what is their purpose in the story. That’s why you flesh them out in the story.

      1. No they dont. Specially when they do exactly what you said. They appeared out of nowhere for what? To waste our time.
From where did that novice tamer came? From nowhere. And for what? For nothing. The same goes with this snake familiar of the apple dancer and the moon grizzly that was once again tamed.

All of them are a bunch of characters that came from nothing to do nothing, beyond being part of a great bunch of chapters that acted as filler.

You could directly ommit this whole arc and you wouldn’t really lose from the story beyond a thing or two.

So no they didn’t need to be developed and certainly not in the way they did it with so many meaningless chapters.

  21. finally a chapter where I show their interaction as a “couple”, I hope there will be more moments like that, it was just cute *-*

  22. It is nice to finally have a chapter like this, but damn I sure do wonder what happened to ALL the OTHER plot threads the author set up and seems to have dropped at this point. It’s like just put this story out of it’s misery in the most humane way possible please… can’t even hope for a satisfying conclusion at this point… such a disappointment/waste of time and life. I feel like we all got scammed. We go through all the hours to finish this WN and STILL it is ending without finishing itself like any other 12 episode anime adaptation.

    1. Yeah i can’t understand you at all because of one thing “dropped plot threads “.
Look this story has always been from the perspective of Makoto and rarely other characters, so given what we know about the characters and how he declared his uninterest in the war and things like that i say its going ok.

    2. The story hasn’t finished. The translator can only translate at the pace they are going at. lol

  23. To think that hearing pillow talk of my favorite fictional character will bring a smile to my face
What a time to be alive!

  24. Fun chapter it was. Glad the mc is starting to realize he is the leader at this point. And he has to face that responsibility. Also was fun to see the reactions of Tomoe. XD Also i hope the mc can fix some of his mind set with a few other things. Since he was able to do so on other matters, like the harem thing and finally realizing he has to accept the mantle of the king role.

  25. There better chapters, but the cuteness in this one is overwhelming
I could tell that I’m happy for choosing to read this novel. Thanks for the writer and the translator
