Tsuki – Chapter 365: Creaking Gears

The place Alte Barrette was headed to was clear.

There’s two Goddess Apostles in the present age.

To the side of the Limia Hero that they were originally supposed to have met up and cooperated with.

But Alte, who learned about the plan of the Anti-Goddess Cult to take over a major power, thought that this would be a great gift to the hero, and took a detour to save the Aion Kingdom.

Thinking back on it, this was the biggest mistake of Alte.

The wasteland that’s the gathering of the trash in this world, and the remote city of Tsige that serves as its lid.

What was hidden there were crazed merchants, and a monster that wore the skin of a company.

Their faith in the Goddess and Spirits is on a burning low, and in the eyes of Alte, it looked as nothing else but a metropolis of degeneration.

That’s why she thought that there was a need for the Aion Kingdom to restructure the city and guide it to the right path.

She ended up thinking that.

The wasteland is where the people, who the Goddess herself deemed as unnecessary, were thrown into and abandoned. There’s no way they would have faith in the Goddess.

Depending on the way you see it, the Aion Kingdom ignored the wasteland’s threats and left it to the merchants. Even if they managed to change that mistreatment into a chance and profited from it, there’s no way they would have high loyalty towards the kingdom.

The wasteland was recognized as a place of high risk and high reward in the world, and Tsige had caught the attention of the people as a city of profit…loyalty and faith are not something that just rises as time goes.

“Quick… To the place of the Hero and the Geezer…! I must not meet my end here. I finally learned the reason for it… The reason for there being two Apostles, the descent of Heroes…there’s no way it was only to counter mere demons!” (Alte)

She pushed back the revolutionary army with overwhelming power.

Using the intelligence gathering ability of Aion to its full extent, she learned of the contact between the Revolutionary Army and the Anti-Goddess Cult, and the internal affairs of Tsige that declared independence.

On top of that, she utilized any exploitable internal cracks and drove a wedge in them, weakening both sides.

That’s what Alte thought.

That plan of hers was actually half successful.

The miscalculation she did was truly a small one.

They were what you would call the luck of the moment, and for Alte, they were all small negligible factors.

She trivialized them all by saying ‘If it is something of that extent’.

Alte Barrette wasn’t a weakling who relied on the elements, and didn’t neglect her acquisition of knowledge. She was without doubt an outstanding woman that guides the hyumans as one of the Grants…and one of the few Apostles of the Goddess in history.

But due to the clever schemer by the name of Patrick Rembrandt, and the irregular called Raidou from the Kuzunoha Company, she had mercilessly bitten into the only experience she was lacking.

There’s no other word to describe it but unfortunate.

In order to see through the tricks of a magician, you need a decent amount of knowledge, experience, and revelations.

Even if you are sitting at the best spot to see through the magic trick of someone in your first time, it is almost impossible to guess it right straight away.

That goes the same when dealing with unprecedented natural disasters.

Even when you have some degree of knowledge to avoid it, it is hard to say whether you can put your knowledge to full use at the times when you have faced your first natural disaster like a big earthquake or a tsunami, and survive.

Sadly to say, it would be pretty difficult to do so.

“…There you are! We have to hurry on the treatment of my body. Even the recovery of the magic power… Who knows how long it would take…” (Alte)

The style that Alte is not that good at with her lightning element is cladding lightning onto her body. Within that category, there’s one high level spell that allows her to do something similar to teleportation.

It allows movement at a slightly decreased rate as lightning, and it is in essence the same as instant transmission.

It is a dream-like spell that’s said to allow you to run across the country in the blink of an eye, but the burden in the body is heavy, and it is mostly a physical type of skill that requires quite the physical training.

Taking into consideration the state of Alte, it would be like demanding someone heavily injured to do a full power sprint for 50 meters.

In that state that Makoto described as coming straight out of a horror film, having arrows lodged in her at several supposedly vital points, she had to run all the distance on the shortest route she could think of.

She crashed onto demonic beasts and people on the way, but she had absolutely no leeway to care about them.

And in this way, Alte Barrette is now in the present place.

At the training grounds of the capital where the Hero Hibiki and her party are at.

“! Is that you, Alte?!”

““?!””

The sudden thunderous sound and destruction as if lightning had struck.

Only one member of the party -an aged man- noticed the being that was clad in light and had suddenly destroyed the surroundings.

At a glance, it looks like nothing but an attack, however, his words made the guard of Hibiki and the others loosen a bit.

“Geezer…I have messed up.” (Alte)

“I can tell just by looking. The fact that you lost despite all the preparations you did… Was your opponent that Raidou that Jou-chan <young lady> spoke of?”

Without minding being called geezer, the man looked at Alte, the prince, and Hibiki.

Seeing the wounds of Alte -the arrows pierced in her- he guessed who it was, and Hibiki herself had a pale white face.

The man saw the equipment of Alte and could tell how serious Alte was, which made cold sweat run down internally, but he was acting as if he were calm.

“If I hadn’t been sharing souls, I would be dead already.” (Alte)

“I have to question that way of using a sacred treasure, but…well, if you are alive, that’s good. Alte, even though we warned you that much to not go too deep…”

“Uuh…I don’t have the time right now. Please heal me. Also, hear me out on what I have to say.” (Alte)

Alte reluctantly accepted the painful sermon, and prioritized the urgent matters.

She had to tell them about Raidou.

His dangerous way of thinking which might be far more dangerous than that of the Anti-Goddess Cult.

“Hmm. Chiya, can I ask this of you? First, let’s take out the arrow and pour as much healing magic on her as possible. As you can see, she is also an ill-suited Goddess Apostle comrade of mine. She has a better brain than me, so she will be of use.”

“Y-Yes!!” (Chiya)

“Good grief, you lowered your guard too much, Alte.”

Chiya and the man approach Alte to provide treatment to her and check her state.

At that moment, Hibiki, who was silently watching the events unfold, speaks with a grim expression.

“Alte-san…” (Hibiki)

“What, Hero? Right now I am trying to talk about Raidou; about that Devil of the Kuzunoha Company…” (Alte)

“I know. If you have something to say, say it at once. I am sure you don’t have much time left anymore. Hurry.” (Hibiki)

She didn’t stop the man and Chiya, she simply hurried Alte.

“? Yeah, I know that. Listen here, Raidou has no interest in Aion, Tsige, and the wasteland. He was probably happy to have encountered me.” (Alte)

“…”

“Hibiki?”

Hibiki didn’t react to the call of the man at all as she looked at Alte.

“He is waiting for the chaos of the world. Waiting for the result which would be the Goddess-sama having no choice but to descend.” (Alte)

“…”

“And then, he will face the Goddess-sama.” (Alte)

““!””

“I can tell now that…Raidou was trying to gauge the power of an Apostle, the power of a God. He wasn’t even focusing on me at all -me, an Apostle! That guy…!” (Alte)

Anger and wrath take over the words of Alte.

The man, who had grabbed the arrow on her forehead, opened his eyes wide at the raw emotions Alte was showing from the bottom of her heart.

Chiya was already healing her.

The surroundings were getting noisy, and only Hibiki was calm while biting her lips.

“Continue.” (Hibiki)

“…Raidou will defeat the Goddess. I am sure he will. But he won’t become the new god. Because order, ruling, peace, and chaos are of no worth to him.” (Alte)

“…I see.” (Hibiki)

She groaned lightly, and responded weakly as if she had been expecting that answer, or had received backing for her thoughts.

“The meaning of several Apostles and Heroes gathering in the same era must be…not because of mere demons, but because there’s a being that can shake the order of this world…no, its very life. Rather than the demons, we should all be joining forces to defeat that Devil and his group together with the Godde—?!” (Alte)

“?!”

“Wa?!”

“Aah…as expected. It was already over…” (Hibiki)

The man jumped back from the surprise.

The left eye of Alte that was okay had been pierced by an arrow.

The same type of arrow she had many pierced in her before.

Hibiki remembers that she has been hit by that attack before.

It is far more polished than that time, and it was a bone chilling way of using his power.

(The difference in power is getting wider and wider, huh. Makoto-kun, you…) (Hibiki)

Hibiki remembers her reunion with him in Limia, and the words of Mio.

“Wa…?” (Alte)

Alte was shaking from the shock of completely losing her sight.

But she knows the reason for her shock.

But that was an event in Aion, and there’s no way she should be getting hit by an attack in Limia that’s far far away.

“Raidou…! Could it be… Could i—!” (Alte)

*Thwack Thwack Thwack!*

Several arrows appeared on her back with exquisite rhythm.

Accurately piercing through the openings of the spine, and crushing the bones; an attack to the vitals.

“What’s going on?! From where is it coming from?!”

“Most likely from Aion, Reverent Gai.” (Hibiki)

Hibiki mutters bitterly.

The robust elderly man called Gai was showing agitation.

He moved to the back of Alte and prepared for any further attacks while searching for the location of the enemy, but it couldn’t be helped that he would feel confused being told that the attack was coming from Aion which is unrealistic.

“!!”

“Impossible!”

An arrow pierced deep into the back of Alte’s head.

It was impossible.

Gai should have been in its trajectory.

It shouldn’t have reached the head of Alte without hitting Gai first.

But it did hit her.

“He…also crushed…the Sky Nue that I…raised.” (Alte)

Alte was now gasping for breath between words.

“What?!” (Gai)

“I see. I really…was…pitiful prey…that was caught…in the palm of your hands…in your spider web… Ugh…” (Alte)

Hibiki, Chiya, and Woody react to the word ‘spider’ for an instant.

It is due to having recalled an old memory of theirs.

Arrows were piercing vital spots one after the other from a variety of angles.

The arrows that were hitting her were accurately aimed at the spots that allowed for easy passing of magic power, and were crushing them.

“No…way…he saw…through me…? Aah…why…did I go to a place like Aion…? I was supposed…to have met up here…and bettered my—!” (Alte)

Her mouth was covered.

“…Thanks, Alte-san. He is not the type of person who would show mercy to their opponent at this point. Please rest in peace already.” (Hibiki)

“Hibiki! That’s not it! Alte serves an ancient one! She has entrusted a part of her soul into a sacred treasure, and is currently in a state of semi-immortality and can even resurrect!” (Gai)

Gai explains the situation, but Hibiki closed her eyes and shook her head to the sides.

“No, Reverent Gai. Raidou…Makoto-kun wouldn’t confront an enemy he intends to kill and leave them go. Vitals from the body, vitals for a mage, and equipment; and if she doesn’t die with that either, he will go with the brute force method and won’t loosen his hand till he turns her into scraps of meat.” (Hibiki)

“Alte is an Apostle, you know? There’s no way a Fake Apostle like him would be able to…” (Gai)

In Raidou’s case, it was other people who spread names like Apostle and Devil as they wished.

And even if he were to call himself an Apostle, it doesn’t mean that he would be inferior to one.

Hibiki swallowed those words she wanted to say.

She placed strength in her throat as if she were enduring tears.

And then, as if betraying the words of Gai, as if affirming the words of Hibiki…the pace of the arrows increased.

*Thuck Thuck Thuck Thuck!*

It was already at the point where they couldn’t tell where the new arrows were hitting anymore.

From several directions, with the will of scraping away the meat, with the will of crushing everything; doing this methodically like that of working at a conveyor belt, continuing endlessly as the speed rose up.

“If there’s any chance, it would be through resurrection. The sacred treasure you meant is that scythe?” (Hibiki)

“…Umu. The strongest one is that scythe. Rather than calling it a weapon, it is more of a catalyst for magic. If it is to put your soul into, it would be that no doubt.” (Gai)

“Then secure that sacred treasure alone. Woody, do the preparations for the resurrection spell! Chiya-chan, keep a proper eye on her state. Just for the time that you think healing magic is still effective.” (Hibiki)

(There’s no mistake in terms of instructions. But…will she be able to maintain her fighting spirit after suffering this much? If this just serves to lengthen her suffering…I think it would be better to just have her accept her death. Even if it is a resurrection that isn’t that long after her death, with a body injured to this extent…) (Hibiki)

Within the secret techniques of Limia, there does exist resurrection magic. But this was a recent result of research.

The success rate is pretty low, and there haven’t been any cases of succeeding with bodies that are not in perfect state.

The secret technique of the undead mage called Shiki to pull the souls which he showed at the time when the capital was burning.

Hibiki and Chiya had burned that sight into their eyes.

Combined with the limited medical knowledge of the modern era that Hibiki had that gave birth to many powerful magic tools, Limia managed to recreate a part of this miraculous thing called resurrection.

(In the first place…) (Hibiki)

Hibiki thought this as she saw Alte who had turned into a porcupine.

People say that when fear passes a certain threshold, they end up laughing, and Hibiki was in that very state.

She was in a state of mind where she would even compare her to a porcupine.

Chiya shook her head to the sides.

The scariest part is that the arrows are not showing any signs of stopping, Hibiki thought.

The porcupine is still moving.

He is most likely shooting arrows with no thought in mind, simply for the sake of bringing certain death.

He most likely has a carefree face, like the time when she was talking with him before.

Hibiki couldn’t stop the trembling that was attacking her body.

(If it is him…he might be able to kill even your soul.) (Hibiki)

The root of resurrection is the relink of the body and soul.

If there’s death for the soul as well, if there’s an attack that makes that death possible, it would bring a result where it is impossible to revive her.

A despairing hypothesis.

And so…the resurrections that were cast on Alte Barrette the whole day and night all ended in failures.

They couldn’t manage to regenerate her body, and couldn’t confirm the presence of her soul.

A number of the sacred treasures that somehow maintained their shape had their effects completely destroyed, and had turned into just divine articles.

On this day, only one Apostle of the Goddess was left in this world.

    1. — They were what you would call the luck of the moment, and for Alte, they were all small negligible factors.
There are saying “devil luck”, it’s a combination word from devil and luck, so the effect just like u all know…
      @.@…

The way the process is describe really a bone chilling one, I can feel my surrounding turn chill from it…
      >.<…

  1. The interesting development here would be to think about the “agreement” between Makoto and the Bug. Will she take it as Makoto antagonizing hyumans, are will she understand that it was her lackey that provoked him while she was supposed to not meddle in his affairs?

    Thank you for the chapter.

    1. Makoto can argue that he is with the Hyumans. He is helping Tsige after all. Alte is also the one who attacked them so it is self defence

But it is bug so I doubt she will accept this.

      1. Doesn’t matter if she accepts or not, she has to obey the rules or the other gods will punish her again, that’s why she can’t make wrong interpretations to use as excuses to atk him.

      2. That was so satisfying. Have been waiting long for it. About now i only care for 2 thinks while reading the novel.
        1. Direct mentions of makoto and his girlfriends romantical advances
        2. Direct interactions with hibiki or tomoki.
Really i wanna see them trying hard their stupid moves and get crushed in heart and mind by makoto.
Haa. Thanks for the chapter, keep it up please. Wanna read more snd Sooner

      3. The agreement is basically already null though, right? She’s moved his hand to meddle in the affairs of humans twice. She can no longer complain about him, nor does she have any right to.

    2. He can argue that he kept at minimum regarding tsige and sion, he had a merchant approach in favor of Tsige and no more than provide materials or things inside, while even went to retrieve the Moon Grizzly that slipped out, it was Alte who attacked Tomoe first after all and was also the very same Bug mistake of not giving the apostles the info of “Makoto also is an otherwolder, we have thus deal, don’t antagonize him” or any info at all before the other gods put the collar on her

      1. @Haxe, why would the bug not informing the apostle abt the deal be a fault? I mean, she doesnt like makoto, she cant do anything to him because of the restraint put by the other gods, and the only loophole is that she doesnt specify to what extent this “antagonizing humans” is.

Given her personality, if her apostle killed makoto, she would just say “i didn’t tell her to do so” and just go by with it, and if the apostle died instead, she might turn this “misunderstanding” into an excuse to bypass the restraint and erase makoto, she lose nothing.

    3. At this stage in the series would he care to bother explaining? I imagine that the next meeting between the bug and devi- makoto would be an all out fight

    4. Bug have a choke with the intention of restrain her, even if she try to use this as a reason to fight Makoto, there are not enough material that can be used to fight Makoto, his participation in the war of Tsige is minimum and that is a war between hyumans so he isn’t antagonizing directly the hyumans as the agreement say, and Alte attacked first the side of Makoto with hurting his publicly knowed subordinates, he also only attacked Alte, so there are no enough reasons that justify take action.

        1. She obviously want to fight Makoto, she clearly look down on her and think he is at most as a annoying bug (yes, really ironic), until she seriously lose to him or get hurted is probably that she will still think the same way, even after that is possible that the change in his mentality will be little.

    5. Logic doesn’t matter to Bug. She’ll just say that Makoto is at fault regardless of anything because she thinks he’s ugly and thus deserving of her hate and contempt. Whether she can actually do anything to Makoto is another story. The gods who visited Makoto before said that they placed some kind of restraint or choker as Athena called it on her so she can’t interfere with Makoto anymore. Though depending on how pissed she gets, she may try something drastic without even caring what might happen to her because of her restraint. Conversely if Bug really does turn out to be Aphrodite like most of us think, she may just whore herself out to charm some dumb god to do her bidding and go after Makoto for her. Like Ares. All myths say he was really dumb and could be tricked easily plus he was one of Aphrodite’s lovers.

      1. the problem is that the goddess is the creator of the world itself if you want to fight Makoto must be the god of the moon or the god of destruction or the messenger of the trimurti of the creator of the new universe can fight, but the problem is that Makoto is only accommodated by understanding the words of the goddess and the way and the power of the moon god and is still being built slowly is not the throne of the moon god itself that was given to Makoto

      2. That seems possible but I think the restrains that the other gods put on her would prevent that from happening. But she may get some of his apostles to go after Makoto. That would be awesome to see.

      3. @aditya88sora eh no, Bug is the goddess of the world, but its not its creator, it is stated before how the world before the goddess was inhabitated by the Superior Dragons, stated by Root itself, while Tomoe also says how Mio predates the era before the goddess as a drifter which was akin to the spirits, Bug is merely a manager of the world than its creator, she can create but cant do in the scale of a world entirely, where makoto goes against Gods thinking due to the linking of his mana, Tsukuyomi gift and Tomoe pact with Asora

      4. @aditya88sora I forgot which chapter it was, but it’s been mentioned that world was one of Brahma’s creation and that bug was given it to manage. That’s also why Shiva is connected to this.

        1. I should clarify this. The world is just one of multiple worlds but they never said that any god created it. Daikokuten only mentioned that it was then assigned to Bug but now that they’ve seen how badly she’s been managing it and causing a bunch of problematic alternate timelines because of her summoning of the heroes that Daikokuten AKA Shiva has to destroy to preserve the world, he is saying that the gods might decide to hand over the world’s management to Brahma as a better choice.

    1. The other apostle maybe more sophisticated end, because Makoto would have developed more powerful anti-goddess skills, Trashmoki, i hope a more humiliating end, since he has caused too much damage to innocent ppl, and hibiki, maybe she may survive or if she dies, if it isn’t an honorable death, at least it would be swift

      1. At this rate it seems like Hibiki might have or soon will give up on trying to go against Makoto and just try to minimize the damage he deals in his conflicts with the Goddess. Or she could fully invest in going against him, either way should be interesting

  2. Thanks a lot for the chapter!!
Hibiki and the apostles are so wrong about everything…
I suppose not knowing that Asora exists makes them think he wants a world to rule.

    1. I remember Hibiki knew about it (or at least, she has deducted its existence)

Which made her all the more terrified because she now thinks Makoto could breaks the world as much as he want and would never feel a thing since he always has a safe place to return to

She’s always scared how powerful yet indifferent he is to everything. So it’s basically one fear stacking upon another, causing her to freaked out more and more

Seriously though, instead of worrying about random possibilities, they could just leave the wasteland alone and pretend he never existed then wait for him to die of old age (he wanted to live and die as a human anyway). That would be the safest bet for them

      1. She thinks he got a town or a community that supports him deep in the wasteland, what she theorized is that even if the world was destroyed (read that as every country collapsing and general mayhem) it wouldn’t really affect him there.
And they are truly idiotic once more if you know a god is up above and think there is a comparable power near by, you do not antagonize either, the beat idea is to try and curry favor or at least indifference from them. Not actively scheming against or around them. Kinda like setting up shop in a mafia neighborhood, you don’t go around it’s safer to go say hello and ask for permission

      2. basically, what hibiki should be doing is acting like modern-day japan
“i see no need to piss off america, and i see no need to piss of china
so why not just not piss them off, lol”
but instead, she’s more like aus- **gets shot**

      3. She doesn’t know about Azora but she senses that Makoto has a base to take refuge in, she thinks it’s the mirage town.

At this point I don’t think Makoto is still a mortal.

      1. He doesn’t know about Alpine’s situation, thanks to Ginebra/Guinever from Apple. He just went for the hand holding the weapon.

  3. Yeah no. No matter what they say about Alte being skilled and just having bad luck to ignore “tiny problems” you ain’t fooling anyone into thinking Alte was brilliant. She only got results because she could bulldoze through problems with pure strength. She’s basically a baboon carrying a big stick. Also how the hell was stopping a rebellion in Aion supposed to be a gift to the Heroes? Neither of them are even based in Aion so why would they even care about what happens there in the first place anyways?

I’m sorry, WHAT?! Alte has a better brain than the old man Apostle? A… better… brain? Then how fucking stupid is this Reverent Gai? How can he even know how to breath?

Tsk, too bad that since those arrows are a conceptual attack, they don’t travel through the air so they can’t go through obstacles along the way to their target. If they did they Makoto could have eliminated all the surrounding trash too like Hibiki and Gai. If Hibiki were smart then she would realize that she should just give up and not oppose Makoto. Unfortunately I don’t think she is smart. I think the only thing that is keeping her alive right now is just the fact that she’s Makoto’s senpai. Otherwise Makoto would have already recreated the microwave attack he used on her in one of his dreams of a parallel timeline and used it on her already.

On another note so Hibiki knows about the Apostles. I seem to recall that originally it was mentioned that Gai had been sent to secretly infiltrate Hibiki’s group. If she knows about them then she must have actively sided with Bug.

    1. i’m assuming normally she’s fairly competent, and for anyone under the goddess who doesn’t hide ten bajillion trump cards (looking at you, lily, makoto), her tactics can probably do a number on them

unfortunately, she then (quite stupidly) decided to use her normal tactics against someone who does hide ten bajillion trump cards, and didn’t adjust accordingly. which resulted in this funny and also stupid combat exchange, where she gets roflstomped.

      1. That’s a pretty low bar. I mean hyumans in general are so stupid that they think fights are two mages setting up their personal barriers before taking turns hurling magic at each other like it’s a turn-based RPG all in an attempt to brute force punch their way through the opponent’s barrier before they run out of mana first. Or how wars for them are just demonstrations between each sides’ commander to see who can give the most showy speech to gain Bug’s blessing and the loser automatically surrenders without even having fought. If they’re that dumb then it doesn’t take much for an Apostle to be called intelligent or competent in comparison.

@Haxe: But Aion is barely even counted as war potential by the other countries. Aion has barely even sent any reinforcements to the other countries when they are fighting the demons. Whether they get wiped out or not makes no difference to the other countries.

    2. Regarding Aion, you can see it this way: if it gets into chaos and turmoil, one, it lackens the ammount of reforcements they can send to the anti demon area, as well as getting vulnerable to demons who are good at milking this situations, see Rona specialty, so setting order would allow more spare room for troops after the Lilia failure where if not of Makoto they would have gotten their asses on a silver platter

    3. Intelligence is not the same as wisdom, also she was very confident, in the end she accepted that she should never face it.

The question is what will Hibiki and her group do after witnessing this, will they be smart and keep their distance seeing how easily he can kill an apostle or antagonize him?

      1. base on how hibitchking attitude … she will still going to try to convince makoto to help them defeat the demon race … probably…

      2. Hibiki thought he would kill the goddess and leave the world broken.
Makoto didn’t tell her about the affair of the gods. Like there will be another god at the ready to take over when the goddess goes down.

        1. sono touri

          cap 210:

“In that case, Senpai, even if the Goddess doesn’t exist anymore in this world, for example; even if a different God were to take her place, you wouldn’t mind, right?” (Makoto)

Well, even if I say a different God, I don’t have a specific God in mind though.

I am just saying and see how she reacts.

But if Senpai does think that way, I thought that maybe it would be possible to form a cooperative relationship with her.

If she thinks that a society where demi-humans don’t face discrimination is better, it would be possible to speak with the demons as well.

“…Even if the Goddess is gone?” (Hibiki)

          “F-Figuratively speaking.” (Makoto)

          1. “…Even if the Goddess is gone?” (Hibiki)

            “F-Figuratively speaking.” (Makoto)

He didn’t confirm that it is the truth. She practically didn’t know about Earth’s gods involvement so she would assumed that was really his hypothesis.

    4. i mean, sure, hyumans are a low bar, but it’s not like the apostles have actually conversed much with the goddess or been to the borderlands, so hyumans is about the highest bar they’ll have, unless they train extensively with the heroes, in which case, heroes is the highest bar they have.

notably, the bar of heroes wouldn’t even come close to the kuzunoha company, though, and the insight of someone on the level of heroes would only barely scratch the surface (while being a complete anomaly compared to hyumans)

as opposed to the demons, whose insight has been refined by years, decades of aptitude-test whittling

    5. it is interesting to see how hibiki reacts.

      Look at her…
holding her lips together, trying to endure her tears.
it is not like makoto is trying to “kill” her or ruin all her upcoming plans.

As it is not even mentioned in this chapter, I really wonder if Hibiki is thinking that Makoto is killing Alte out of no reason.
She doesn’t seem to care why Makoto wants to kill Alte…
She seems to treat Makoto as a psychopath that will kill anyone as long they annoyed him in the slightest bit…

    6. Hibiki admitted the only reason she’s not siding with Makoto is because she wants revenge against Io for killing Nabal (? can’t remember name)

Which is a damn stupid reason. Since she’s now antagonising someone that makes Io look weaker than an infant, and someone who she knows won’t hesitate to kill those who he deems as enemies.

As an aside, do you recall where Gai was introduced, cos I must’ve missed him completely

      1. She actually gave makoto a similar arguement that Zef in their meeting post Limia gave to Makoto, the hatred between both sides is too ingrained that there is no way makoto method of leveling the field would be accepted, she reasons to herself that a reason why she doesnt is because of Naval death, as she was close to her and sacrificed just to *stall* a bit of time against Io who received next to no damage from that fight, and even trampled on her during the capital raid, which is a valid reason, as well as she went with the deal of not bothering makoto with requests of joining the war but just supply them with goods, basically the “not kicking the horn nest” approach, also, hibiki herself isnt antagonizing makoto, she is in actual fear from him as he in her mind looks like a psyco sociopath murdered able to beat anyone, which is a valid terror, for hibiki standard, makoto has done things that she cant even dream of, one being subjugating the Black spider aka Mio and forcing her into a pact where he is the ruler, as well as basically treat as a child toy the opponent she hates and despises, and now beating and killing one of the highest powers she knows of from the commodity of a different country without any way to stop him, the description of her biting her lips while even ending tearing up and even ending like a broken dam where she can just call alte a porcupine just shows how much natural fear she got towards him, as how she experienced the same attack once during their bout, remember, an attack that basically could kill you without ever realizing where it came from the hit

      2. @Haxe: Hibiki did not give a similar argument like Zef’s to Makoto. All she ever talked about was that Bug was necessary for the world so it doesn’t get destroyed which is just her own opinion and not even Bug has told her that. She claims that that’s why she’s fighting the demons because she fears that they will eventually come up with a way to kill Bug. Makoto then argued that they’re only waging war because of Bug’s treatment of non-hyumans which is an undisputable fact. Then Hibiki agreed that they aren’t being treated fairly but that they will just have to put up with it because Bug’s existence is necessary and that after she defeats them, she’ll work slowly to change how they are treated but then says it’ll take centuries and that the non-hyumans will just have to put up with it until then. Makoto then countered that the non-hyuman races won’t last that long and they can’t hope other hyumans will pick up Hibiki’s work after she’s long dead. Makoto then mentally singled it out that Hibiki is thinking like this because she’s never been on the oppressed side, that she’s never lost anything so the problem to her is just something that will eventually fix itself someday and thus it’s not something she should really do much about now. After realizing that, Makoto came to the conclusion that they’re beliefs are incompatible and just left while telling Hibiki to leave him alone. It’s only after Makoto leaves that Hibiki realizes that despite her supposed noble reasons for fighting the demons, all she really wants is revenge on Io for Naval’s death and that everything she’s said is really just to make herself feel better.

  4. Picking a fight with someone and then act all surprised and terrified when they fight back….

Man, the concept of “you reap what you sow” must be foreign to this world

    1. I mean, the hyumans here are more arrogant than the crusaders during the middle ages
like, the crusaders are already like “infidels aren’t human, killing one is a good act”
and these guys are even worse; for a hyuman who is at the peak of the religion, ever close to the goddess, do you think they’d realize they’re sowing “murder” and not “enlightenment”?
as far as they’re concerned, “you reap what you sow” means that she should be reaping huge benefits, because she’s “cleansing the world of impurities” and “restoring virtue”

as a third party (us the reader) we can obviously see what she’s sowing is “attempted murder” though.
      gotta keep this in mind.

  6. Makoto won’t be able to enter Lidia or even speak with Hibaka anymore after this.

Either way, he didn’t have other choice than to erase Alte, if they are actually able to use Resurrection spell though.

    1. Actually he can still enter Limia. He’s got Mist Gates so no amount of security can stop him. He could also speak to Hibiki if he wanted but he’s unlikely to since he had a falling out with her previously that Mio orchestrated.

      1. I actually forgot about these Gates for a minute and I meant a fact he would be just screeched off for even attempting to do so by Apostle and Priestess.

    2. nahhh, if makoto want too , he can enter it like a boss ! what can they do ? stop him ? its simply his personality that make him wont ‘force entry’ if its unnecessary

  7. I wonder when the time comes, will Makoto destroy both stupid and moronic heroes or spare them like other gods have asked him to?

      1. I actually would prefer he die quickly. He’s such a non-threat to Makoto that I don’t want to see them waste time on such a scrub’s death. Besides he’s already slowly dying anyways because Lily poisoned him and then also convinced him to undergo some experiment to get stronger at the cost of much of his lifespan.

    1. Seeing how fucked up they are, i bet tsukuyomi and other didn’t give a fuck anymore… In fact if that Bug not the sole administrator on that world, they Gonna beat the shit of her because abusing authority….

      1. Tsuki bro is just naturally a nice dude. He probably only gave Makoto the suggestion to try to treat the heroes nicely because of that without looking into their personalities. If he had learned what they’re like then yeah he’d probably not give a shit about them and not have said anything to Makoto.

    1. flying mythical creature (chimera?)
i’m chinese so I should know, but i’ve been slacking off on my mythology…
anyways, it’s the source of the lightning in the clouds that got crushed by the makoto’s mana-metal arms

    2. A youkai like demon that makes lightening in the clouds. It was helping Atle with the thunderclouds and her skills in Makoto’s fight with her.

  8. Well, here she is, coming to her own conclusions.
I’m pretty sure the only reason there were 2 heroes was because the Bug was feeling greedy.
And there being 2 apostles is probably just to balance with the number of heroes.
Anyways, that felt good. One of the pests is gone for good now.

  9. Thank you very much for the chapter.

Oh author, you finally know your place chiya, hibiki and the party.

That chiya, when I think I can’t hate her anymore, they come out of her wanting to steal the shiki technique to pseudo resurrect through the soul.

In a previous comment, I was told that all the unfair treatment of makoto is justified. But it is the opposite, it must be judged through the actions of the individual.

It is true that we know that something and the indifference of the protagonist towards almost everything, but the other characters from which they only know makoto as a merchant, teacher and diablo.

Everyone looking for how to hit the makoto balls. That makoto comes out of the common sense of that world, that’s why antagonizing it … is absurd.

As Makoto says, little by little he is learning that corrupt sense. But he he knows that he is right here some examples:
Selling medicines for the needy, because hindering it is a win win.
Makoto knows that tsige and paramo are garbage dumps for the goddess’s eyes, but Rembrant tries to turn him into a great power in times of war. That nonsense, but if Makoto said it they would think him crazy.
Makoto after his sightseeing trips alone seemed like a good place to live. But now after all this revolution what will he think?
In rostgard he is a saint or a hero. But for Makoto it is a place where he suffered a lot and they don’t even know how to treat him with respect so how do they want Makoto to want to stay there. Not just for Zara but for Seiren and even that old man from the Bar.

As we know Makoto always learns something new after each of his battles and I do not mean combat. In Lorel, I leave everything worried to see a Makoto worried about how to deal with the hyumans that attack him because of the troublesome hatred that Pione brought. But it is gratifying to see that he did not save anyone from the anti-god cult and does not care that the massacre of alte was seen by someone.

This Makoto is following the ideas of Rick Sanches:
“You can’t make people like you, you just have to hope they get bored of hating you”
“When you know that nothing matters, the universe belongs to you and that universe will never like that idea”
“the universe is basically an animal, which feeds on the ordinary and creates many fools just to feed on them”
Ultimately how he will change, Makoto now that he learned and how those who know that he is diablo.

  10. Thanks for the chapter!

Man that’s some straight up scary “you’ll be sleeping w the fishes” message Makoto is sending to everyone.

  11. I can imagine the porcupine, I mean Alte Barrette looking like a pincushion. She shouldn’t have injured Ema and Tomoe, plus she attempted to kill Makoto with the lightning. Makoto isn’t the type to let you go once you’ve done something to him. The main reason I like this book is his personality is similar to someone I know very well. The facts are she shouldn’t have been there to begin with. You start a fight, you’d better be prepared to finish it. Hibiki thought she could control Makoto at one point. His power is pretty much infinite and he’s the closest thing on that world to divinity. The power gap is going to increase every time he draws that bow. Infinity X Infinity= Infinity, right? I’m waiting on him getting to Trashmoki. Hibiki is too prideful and should be smart enough to know better. Thanks for the chapter, Reigokai. It was great.

    1. the power gap increase not every time he draws bow, but everytime he does his Daily Training with extreme concentration when doing Kyuudo (iirc thats the name)

  12. I am a satisficed reader. Hibiki, her party and the other apostle Gai saw Alte’s brutal end. Atle’s final words put a smile to my face. Happy ending. What more can you ask before the holidays?!

Hibiki’s like a politician that says nice sounding words, but does shady stuff and backbites you as soon as you leave the vicinity. She actually created her own self-fulfilling prophecy. Makoto was not even going all-out either from Alte’s minuscule intellect and deductive abilities.

Now…. Makoto knows quite a lot about the skills of Apostles for future countermeasures (lightening attribute, divine artifacts, objective, attitude of apostles, location for other apostle in Limia). If Hibiki takes this harrowing warning to heart, she would be a smart pacifist. But, I doubt that would happen. Furthermore, I cannot imagine One Pole Hero (Tomoki) and Exposure Hero (Hibiki) to team up even with Gai’s meddling.

The apostles seem to be doing things on their own without the BUG’s input (Athena’s choker appears to make her unable to send oracles now).

    1. Thanks for the chapter
Alte Barrette: “There must be a divine reason why Heroes are summoned.”
      Bug: “No, I just f*cked up…”

      1. And she clearly underestimated the demons, with small number they are able to go against hyumans, it’s clearly an amazing feat.

  13. that’s straight up horror movie material right there.
    imagine coming back to HQ
    ‘THAT GUY!!!’
‘if you have something to say, you need to say it right now because you done fucked up’

and a reference that Alte become porcupine, that’s very definition of horror right there. probably because Makoto may not stop after 10 quivers

  14. Zama miro!

Never piss off Makoto. If the bug wants restitution for her acolyte she can be the next pincushion.

Hibiki you stupid girl if you think you can still stand against Makoto you got another think coming

  15. Thanks for the delicious chapter!!
    And now……..

AHAHAHAHAHAHAH DIE! DIE! DIE!!!! SHIT APOSTLE!!

Allow me to say these, in place of Makoto-kun

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAH!! DIE BITCH!!

  16. gahahahahahahah its a dead body ! and Makoto just simply BBBRRRRRTTTTTTTTT her like a freakin A-10 warthog with arrow HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH

  17. Alte: “I have something to say!”
    Hibiki: “What is it?”

    “Thuack”

    Alte: “Fuck……”

    Alte dropped dead

    Hibiki: “……….”

  18. Hmm, Makoto can destroy souls? If he can that’s good, until now that wasn’t something mentioned so I hope that after Tomoe obtaining the power of dragon mother he thought or learned a form to destroy souls, I hope that’s the case.

  19. “There must be a reason there exist 2 apostle and 2 heroes, to fight that devil”

Pfftt.., the goddess snatch 2 people without permission from earth that it pissed off many gods so much they sent 3 war deities to punish her

And makoto are asked to watch over the kidnapped duo instead as some kind of supervisor, this bunch really misunderstand the situation so much to be convenient just for them

I think at the end, makoto will spare the heroes for tsukuyomi, tomoki will lose everything and return to his miserable bullied life in japan, maybe after some heavy trashing, hibiki, she wont get any punishment if she’s back considering her status in japan, i think she will stay in that world, rebuilding all the things that fall to ruin from her mistake choice as her punishment

  20. Firstly, thank you Reigokai for your translations.

Secondly, I can say that I’m satisfied by Alte’s end! After seeing that I think Hibiki will go the minimizing the casualties path in the Bug/Makoto conflict. Because Alte said it alright! Alte said Makoto can go toe to toe with the Bug at this right moment. But Makoto keeps growing! So it might end up in a one way slaughter.

Concerning the Tsukuyomi power transfer, I think Tsukuyomi passed his power to Makoto because he’s worthy of it! And people might ask why? It’s simple, why are any of the gods of destruction worthy of their power? Because they keep the balance. But the problem with Makoto is that, at least in this string of possibilities, he’s also capable of creation magic! So he’s both a destruction god(based on his power and way of fighting) and also a creation god (he achieved in creating those arms atm, but he will surely grow, we might be even saying that Asora is his creation). The problem with the Bug is that she only likes `pretty` creatures, and that implies only the hyumans, so she is unbalanced in this regard, and that’s why the other gods keep her in check!

So, if we follow the Susanoo mythos we can see he behaved in the same manner as Makoto in some regards. Susanoo was even exiled from the heavens and went to Yomi(the Underworld) because of the exile (and who was in the Underworld here?). You can find interesting similar things between the two!

  21. Well, if we hadn’t burned the bridge to at least mutually ignoring each other with Bug already, this chapter exists to ensure that we’ve definitely gone too far on both sides. Some part of me thought that Tsuki might try to pull a fast one on us, and exploit both slow pace and gradual familiarity with both sides to set up a satisfying ceasefire, but I don’t think that’s possible at this point so from now on it’s 100% a war path. I’m not disappointed, just a bit thrown off by the last nail in a coffin that had been commissioned years ago.

Damn, I’m not sure what to commentate on; the fact that it’s once again been proved that competency is in short supply on Bug’s side of things with Alte, apparently a Grant, only amounting to mincemeat in the end even though she was supposed to be intelligent and dangerous. Or maybe the fact that Hibiki really is responsible for driving herself into this corner, by letting all the pressures on her to save the Hyumans stick her to the goddess and not fully explore the possibilities that Makoto may have to offer in saving everyone. Maybe if she did that she might even drive him to take responsibility for what he will do from now on, but at this point that’s just a hypothetical that will never come to pass.

And finally… Damn, it’s not flashy, but Makoto’s ability to ‘hit the target’ is downright one of the most terrifying things I’ve seen in isekai. Somewhat grounded enough that I understand how it works, and inevitable all the same in its lethal simplicity. Screw the soul-breaking ‘final deaths’ or the all-devouring flames, I’d be way more mortified to just have arrows slowly and efficiently *appear* in my or a buddy’s body, possibly with no warning whatsoever.

I do have to say, it may have occurred to me and others before, but reading the opening of this chapter it struck me just how much Tsige is essentially the Demons version 2.0. Abandoned by the goddess and fellow hyuman in a harsh wasteland where individual abilities are the only trustworthy way to survive, and lashing out at their hyuman neighbors in search of territory and treatment that is worthy of them. Relying on tactics and trickery instead of the goddess and brute force as they’ve had to in the wasteland for so long, they’re absolutely crushing the enemy, too.

I’m just hoping that Rembrandt doesn’t turn out to have relapsed into his terrible hyuman nature as this arc seems to have alluded to, with Rembrandt being symbolic of the one hope Makoto has to reconcile with hyumans.

  23. Thanks for the chapter

Aaaand the bug’s gofer finally dead! hurray~!

Here’s hoping Hibiki won’t get any funny ideas, and trashmoki gets his eventual comeuppance.

  24. Thanks for the chapt! It is such a pity to have those sacred treasures to lose their effects since someone like Shiki will be happy to have them for research purposes. Overall a good chapt and can’t wait to see the next one! 😀

  25. I though that 1 of the apostle was killed by op adventure or was just defeat? Well whatever… Just hoppe trashmoki come so he can test if he can be kill even with his inmortality on with enought raw power lol

    1. Killed? Nahhh, just hoy her *ss served on a plate by the OP immortal adventurer from PRG and the pervert dragon. And trashmoki is immortal only on full-moon nights, but don’t expect to be anything close to usefull, nothing can block a conceptual atack, save maybe a conceptual defense?

  26. This was kind of a hard read. That said, considering she showed up, started threatening and murdering people for her own ego, planned to murder the entire city and was generally as horrible a person as possible, her death was enevitable. Hibiki will blame Makoto, of course. She’s just as driven by revenge as anyone else, yet because he doesn’t value the same things as she does, he’s wrong and evil.

  27. Well alte deserved every arrow in her for what she did and how much she trashtalked around. Bitchiki on the other hand should learn from this and stop being a retard like shes being currently. Trashmoki has no hope for redemption in my opinion and should just be ended already.

  28. Haha death of apostle is bitchbiki foult
She knew that if Arte go to Tsugi she will die for sure and she didin’t stop her – a new party member
Satisfactionary death for that idiot and nice chapter

    1. She’ll become a new party member after she met with the rest of the party. But she hasn’t meet up with them yet, she went to tsige instead of meeting up. So to be fair, hibiki can’t stop her

  29. Of course they will eventually know that Larva is actually Shiki. Seems like Hibiki already told everyone on her party (maybe also Joshua and King) about Raidou, she openly called him Makoto after all. Also… wonder how Shiki will react once he learns that the Grants that we was so obsessed with when he was just lich was actually the Apostles. Are all apostles Grants, are are all grants apostles? If its the latter, Shiki might feel terrible knowing he wanted to be an apostle before 😆

  30. chapter never actually spells out what ‘experience’ Alte lacked so i’ll do it!
she never faced an opponent stronger than her, and never feared anything, so she didn’t know how to react when facing an opponent who was both and was intent on killing her
she is a stupid girl, like a child in an adult’s body, and murdered so many people, even innocents
even moments before her death, the only emotion she knew was anger
    what a pitiful girl

  31. “On this day, only one Apostle of the Goddess was left in this world.”
I’m confuse with this one. Is it “the only one Apostle” or “one of Apostle”?

  32. The way things are going now, I think there is a possibility that Hibiki might join forces with Makoto.

Hibiki’s anxiety comes from not having enough information about Makoto and only seeing limited possibilities based on what she knows.

With Hibiki possibly learning about Asora, I think she might work together with Makoto in the future.

The reason is because of Tomoki and Hibiki’s current objective that will definitely antagonize the goddess.

With Tomoki, he isn’t even a factor for Makoto, that is why I think the one that will deal with him is actually Hibiki. Lily’s plans will definitely cause a conflict between the two major powers.

Her plans to bring about Democracy is definitely going to cause conflict with the goddess’ believers and maybe the goddess herself.
As it stands, Hibiki, like Tomoki, isn’t really that relevant when it comes to being an enemy for Makoto, unless the goddess gives them a powerup or something.

Just like how Sari, who is similar to Hibiki in the way they think, I think that actually seeing Asora and understanding what kind of world Makoto can actually create can help convince Hibiki to change her mind about Makoto. All she is seeing right now is the destructive side of Makoto and not the better side of him that can bring about a peaceful world.

There is also the fact that the story is focusing way too much on Hibiki, compared to Tomoki. Plus, Hibiki has so many connections with Makoto’s group, it is a waste if somthing doesn’t come from it. I don’t think she is meant to be an enemy, otherwise the author wouldn’t have made her experience so much fear towards Makoto and should have kept her ignorant to se extent.

In terms of character developmemt, I think it is going well, since she never felt how it was to lose before and she is experiencing it now because of Makoto. All she needs to do now is accept her loss and she’ll definitely change the way she thinks, because her ideals are based on thinking that she can succeed in anything.

    1. She said that she will be struggle even more and she will oposite Makoto because bug deaht cause chaos in the world for many years.

    2. Won’t happen, no, more like it will be darn hard to happen, considering mio will be there doing everything to keep hibiki away far from makoto, in the end, both don’t have enough info and understanding with each other and be destroyed, this story are often goes to the bad route where salvation are rejected simply because situation, 3rd party, or the mc passive and apathy, like illumgand and haruka case

      1. His current reality chooses the best route for Makoto. Getting rid of troublesome people that can cause problems, like Illumgand and allowing him to meet and ally with people that helps him avoid a dangerous route, like his followers, Rembrandt, etc… who helped changed his fate.
So far, I don’t actually see Hibiki’s relevance as an enemy, plus as far as the story goes, it would be pretty bad to end things with just Hibiki getting killed in the end.

There are so many plot points that tie Hibiki and Makoto together in some way. Yes, they don’t seem to get along, but things don’t always stay the same in a story. There are things like character development and the original purpose of the character itself.

I really don’t see how Hibiki will just end up being an enemy in the end, especially since the author made Makoto and her share too many connections throughout the story and placed her in situations where she is slowly changing as a charater. This has to lead to somewhere.

If it was the old Hibiki, she would challenge Makoto no matter the circumstances, that is why she needs to have to let go of that old belief of always succeeding no matter what.

Think about it. Her actions are going to antagonize a god, since she is going for a reformation of the world. Makoto hasn’t thought of what to do afterwards, that is why I think Hibiki’s role is to deal with the aftermath of it all, since she already has planned for it. Her charisma ability can also help get rid of the hyumans’ faith towards the goddess.

  33. “On this day, only one Apostle of the Goddess was left in this world.”

That mean out of two, only one remaining

  34. B R U T A L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mako-san is scary as heck. I am not surprised Hibiki was the only one to realize how screwed Alte was. Man this is so exciting, I don’t think the Demons will join the Hero party in subjegating him, wondering what Hibiki and co will do.

    1. not the apostle tsukuyoumi, makoto is a legitimate god candidate on the throne of the moon god has a license from Olympus (Athens), Shinto (Tsukuyoumi, Susanoo), Buddha and shinkakuji (Daikokuten destruction and luck) with evidence of the Temple in Asora and management in the hands of miko directly from the gods

  35. Hibiki believes the world needs the goddess, mainly for magic iirc, so I doubt she’ll side with Makoto. It’s really hard to say what she’s thinking of the situation though…and I suppose the fact that her allies having tools for resurrection will be a problem down the road….
I’m honestly surprised Alte was able to speak to them at all about Makoto. Figured she’d be taken down before she could say anything.
It’s a little concerning that Tomoe couldn’t handle the apostle, even keeping in mind her defending Ema at the time. Makes me wonder if that bit of power she inherited was worth it.
At this point, I’m not gonna be surprised if Hibiki and Tomoki’s groups will face him.

  36. The apostle and Hibiki’s party misunderstanding the goddess’ actions that they’re there to fight Makoto when it’s only because the goddess threw him into the wasteland because he wasn’t beautiful enough for her when she summoned him.

It sounds like Atle got her info from Hibiki so I’m guessing they don’t know that the goddess is the one who summoned him. I can’t remember if Hibiki knows that the goddess is the one who summoned him but I don’t think he mentioned it.

      1. I don’t think that’s the case. He was originally summoned there to fight the demons but was instead tossed to the wastelands.

We can tell he was there for the demons because of the 2-3 times that the bug summoned him to help push the demons back for the hyumans. That bug was basically using Makoto like a cooldown hero summon instead of active hero summon (like Hibiki) all because of his looks.

If Alte really knew that the bug summoned him, she wouldn’t have jumped to conclusions about her and the other apostle being there. That bug doesn’t know what Makoto has been doing or his connections since he’s been doing a good job at hiding (or the bug would be able to summon him easily each time).

    1. When Hibiki was recalling about the talk with Makoto, she mentioned that the goddess throwed him in the wasteland in middle of nowhere and that it was indirect murder. So Hibiki knows the goodness summoned him, but doesn’t know exactly why.

  37. Tomoe could have won against Alte. It just would have been long. You gotta remember that Tomoe doesn’t always fight at her best. She prefers using a katana because she’s a huge weeaboo.
It just would have been really annoying considering Alte got the drop on her, their affinities, and protecting Ema.
Despite that, Tomoe still would win.

  38. Im like drinking cold orange juice while knowing that Alte was subjugated by Makoto… It was refreshingly delightful….

  39. Hahaha, I was longing for this 😀 This is great!

It’s been a while since Makoto has grown up. We never read something like this from the event where he had fought the dragon killer woman and the little boy.

  40. oof, even hibiki knew alte is on her last moment. will makoto get power to torture soul in the future? like arrow that pierces the soul over and over. breaking down the mind of the victim.

trashmoki at least deserve that kind of hell.

    thank you for the chapters~
    stay safe and healthy everyone!
*sigh* friggin more lockdowns due to nekorona

  41. You know i kinda remember chiya tell idiotbiki not to mess with makoto saying she dont wanna him to awake.

But the fact that alte went there even if she didnt listen is just digging their own grave. And as annoyingly she and her troupe still think makoto is evil and they are righteous.

When its just alte and idiotbiki wild imagination. After all. All makoto wanted is to teach her proper manners.

I wish haruka was alive to smack her stupid. But maybe all i can hope for is either pinic rose garden(unlikely) or sofia being her rival.

Anyway the author kinda went abit far when he say they manage to reverse shiki revival spell into many other things.

  42. Thanks for the chapter!

Good job, Makoto! It is hilarious that Makoto refused to give a full explanation to her, causing her to keep beleiving that she’s right. I don’t think I could have kept fighting for a worm like that once I knew the bug shit on people who weren’t up to her looks standards.

  43. Feels good to read, 2nd time still do. Alte had arrogance but no experience, it’s good that she finally stopped talking, due to death.
Hibiki knew what’s going to happen and still got scared seeing it.

  44. I wonder if this attack was consented too by the bug? The bug might be feeling cornered, as every world in which Makoto fights her and looses seems too be pruned from the world line by the destruction God as per that dream Makoto had during their visit. might be the policy too keep a bug contained and not let her spread across the spectrum of reality like other gods anticipating a hand-over in the future… Lashing out as the walls close in seems typical of stupid despots being wrenched from power…

  45. Blessed are you, Uncle Reigokai for always being there contributing.

There are pious deaths, cruel deaths, and THE DEATH OF ALTE BARRETT; turned meat porridge and literally slaughtered UP TO THE SOUL. You deserve it, bitch apostle of lightning.

But better than that is the terror that will be imprinted on Hibiki’s soul after seeing how Makoto once again falls out of her reach. Until now I wanted to believe that Hibiki would always continue to choose neutrality. I see that she wants to take an active part against Makoto. Is that how you want to play, Hibiki-senpai? Then wait for Makoto to fix your attitude with brute force, or do you prefer the “hedgehog death” that Alte suffered … at this point your well-being doesn’t matter anymore, what you equaled is Tomoki’s level of hatred.
    ________________________________________________

  46. Maybe it’s right that he wanted to know how much power an apostle had
But want chaos to make Goddess descent? I think he would rather train and he himself enter where she is, so that it would be even more satisfying to slap her face in her own domain.

  47. Heh.. just late in realizing this.. Ginebia spirited away Toa and party by using something that looked like mist.
Alte Barret was _soooo_ pissed at losing sight of Toa that once she saw Tomoe and Ema use a mist gate she was convinced that they were tied to Toa and leapt in to battle demanding to know where Toa is and attacking Tomoe and Ema. It was this blind anger of Alte Barret’s that caused her to jump in to battle early and piss off Makoto.

And the cause of that? Ginebia.. who wanted to put Makoto at a disadvantage. That desire of Ginebia kind of backfired because it caused Alte Barret to leap in to battle prematurely in such a way as to totally piss off Makoto.

  48. thanks for chap
    MOST SATISFYING END 100000000000%
better than even my predictions, and wth is nue??!

last time athena survived by deflecting the arrows and puppetering but what about now with sure hit arrows
i think its cool and amazing how hibiki could ruthelessly think alte as already dead and quickly get info from her before she was erased.geez another point for mc to remember ,not to target the body but the soul itself.

Awaiting the comedy when the “OP” with forbidden powers trashmoki comes to challenge him without a clue

    1. Nue is a lightning yokai.
I assume the red lightning in the clouds that the silver arms broke, is that. Might be just the name of an attack, or maybe she had a familiar spirit up there.

  49. I hate how hibiki feels bad for that apostle. She was just about to wipe out a city of 300k, and even on her escape she tore up countries buildings and people, and Hibiki cares not. What a hypocrite.

  50. Am I a bad person for laughing continuously throughout this chapter? I hope not.
I feel absolutely no sympathy towards Alte, the other Apostle, or any person who’ll go against pissed off Makoto.
Also, the hypothetical thought of revived Alte being shot day after day with arrows because of Makoto’s spite towards her… You’re training *Thuck!* You’re eating *Thuck!* Over and over again (while Makoto is sitting by his desk and sipping tea). It made me crack oh so much.

As this is my first comment here… I want to sincerely thank you, Reigokai-sama for translating this novel!

  51. Imagine anime season 4, dang marvelous, my imagination really runs wild with these scene XD

Woooooooo, i kinda hope muller to survive

    Thanks for the translation o7

    1. Considering that the first season only used up about 70 chapters worth of content… No way season 4 would cover this unless they skip a ton. End of season 5 at best~.

      1. well i didn’t even corevered 70 chapters since the ommited all the chapter related to the heroes, so unless they give more chapters per season, i would need between 6 and 7 seasons.

  52. So satisfying to watch. At this point, he has become exactly that which he mentioned before: an Evil God or Calamity that people bow down to in hopes of saving their lives

    1. Your comment just make me remember that I want Makoto to become Asura.

Magic armor covered his body as armor(like when Susanoo covered kurama). His own 2 hand holding a bow and arrow, 4 magic arm appeared from his back(like doc.Ock) with 2 arm for casting a spell and the other 2 arm for physical attack that can be equipped with his ‘silver arms'(when the arm released from the magic armor to attack it can be named ‘Silver Rocket Punch’ or ‘Silver Punch’) , the arms can just float between his side as usual when not equipped to his magic armor(like Raiden Mei).

  53. I really enjoyed this chapter. i have already read it like 7 times. I really hate hibiki, she just can’t put things to her convenience whenever
she fucking wants, makoto wasn’t the evil one this time, alte was a bitch who chose to kill and toture everyone she wanted just because she fucking felt the alpha, her dying so miserable was her just deserved.

      1. Except im pretty sure Limia didn’t know of alte until that moment nor what she was doing. Probably that Gantz will tell them after this event but i dont think they will think to much of Aions failure as a country.

    1. tbh i felt bad for alte for a second but then realized, “hold up, she straight up murders people cause meh” so yeah glad alte is gone, makoto was just a bit psycho on this one for my taste, but knowing him it makes sense.

      1. The things is that he wasn’t being a psychonor anything like that, but thay he had no other way around it.

Each hit he did was a sure kill one, but alte was semi immortal so things couldn’t go any other way, if she had left things go she wouldn’t have died so miserable.

  54. Does anyone else find it amusing that Hibiki had already given up on the Apostle as soon as she landed. She KNEW that Makoto had marked that one for extermination.

    1. Well, yeah.
Remember that Bitchiki is the only one that experienced Makoto’s “True Strike” and survived to speak about it.

She KNOWS that Makoto is literally incapable of missing a shot, and because Bitchiki saw that Makoto shot her vitals, she knew he wouldn’t be letting her go.

      1. Well no… He hold back like quite a lot, but she idk if she realize it, but at one point she did saw Makoto’s attacks and live to tell the tail. Which was on where they where fighthing the purple cloud thing with Lime

        1. If Makoto wanted he could kill Hibitch whenever he wanted from Asora.
          1. Just keep her image as a target from Asora in his mind.
          2. Open a mist gate into any random part of Limia Kingdom.
          3. Shot.
          4. Repeat step 3 until you run out of arrows.
          5. Enjoy Hibitch’s death.

          1. wish he would lmao all he has done is do favors for her and she is still plotting behind his back

          2. The bad (for Hibitch) is that Tomoe and Mio know about her plotting against Makoto and WHEN she tries to do something they will “deal” with her… And she and her group thought that fighting the Black Calamity Spider in her Berserker Mode was bad, they haven’t seen anything…

          3. I don’t even think step 2 is necessary, I mean “True Strike” WILL make whatever thing you’re shooting at be hit… now thats even more dreadful

  55. “I know. If you have something to say, say it at once. I am sure you don’t have much time left anymore. Hurry.” (Hibiki)

Damn, Bitchiki literally said “omae wa mou shindeiru” to get Alte to talk.

“Most likely from Aion, Reverent Gai.” (Hibiki)
    Hibiki mutters bitterly.

She has a brain, that one.

  56. Oooh Hibiki copy Revive (lol) spell from Shiki.
Well, it was not a Revive spell though, its just Healing Magic that boosted by 13 Ring power.

  57. Truth be told, if hibiki and her people were to only put effort in the war against demon army (which should be their only damn concern) instead of trying to get meddlesome with makoto and his people, they would have less problems.

    1. specially when its a race against time (even when hibiki critics hyumans for their complacency of believing they will win against demons no matter what, she does the same believing she will win and she will do it fast) since she must beat demons before they beat her (specially since they are better in every way except their numbers) and beat them before makoto beats the goddess (once he does this she wont ever again be able to fight back against demons)

    2. I was smiling with that twisted appraisal being spouted when all Makoto wanted to deliver was “Don’t touch what’s mine.”

Funny thing that she assumed Makoto is waiting for the Goddess when it’s Makoto who’ll go to her. He’s just waiting for the rest of the gang to get stronger.

    3. Nah, no way hibiki can do that. In a sense, she is a far-sighted person but short-sighted. She keeps on looking at the future as if she had won against the demon and all. She meaninglessly regard makoto as a threat and tried to find a way to kill him although she can just avoid him in the 1st place. It’s like a player that is planning a clear against the hidden boss (makoto) in a game eventhough she did not win against the mini boss (4 demon generals), big boss (demon king) and event boss (tomoki) yet lol. Though at least, there is no need to feel pity or sympathy for her as she like the challenge.

  58. Hibiki-san~ Hope you enjoyed the show thay Makato gave you! Made it even, so that you can see it live on your eyes and just right next to you. Hope you don’t despair much, have a nice day :>

It was said that Makoto bringed out 10 quivers, so basically at least around 250-300 arrows, at most either 500 or 1000 arrows where pierced at Alte. Man… Hopefully the manga and anime will make this an dope scene :DD

  59. Some of these comments… People are really insane. Makoto has some serious problems, not saying that Alte didn’t but he’s also bordering psychopath behavior and yet people are praising him…

    1. Alte tortured tomoe and ema and you expected him to be like “it’s ok i will let you go if you say sorry” like no fk that make sure she doesn’t survive for harming your family (remember he considers tomoe family).

      1. She didn’t exactly torture them, they went into the battlefield to retrive the “Moon Bear” and ended up clashing. She wounded them in a fight in the middle of the warzone. Again, Alte has (or had…) problems herself, her sense of morals and justice is twisted but it’s not out the ordinary for this world. Given that she probably got a much different treatment from the Goddess then Makoto did it’s not hard to imagine she developed a strong conviction that the current way of the world is “right”. Anyway that’s besides the point. I’m not gonna play devils advocate with that one, I could but it’s a pointless hassle.

It’s about how Makoto is completly indifferent about killing others at this point and doesn’t care anymore about understanding the other party or how his brute force “execution” will look from a 3rd party perspective. He’s killing her because she hurt his family but it is hardly out of anger because they got hurt or because he’s upset, but out of pure principle, a rule he set for him self devoid of emotion. You hurt his “pack”, you die , no empathy, no questions asked. He’s talking to him self about destroying somones very soul like it’s just another day. He’s at the point where if you’re not close to him and overstep your bounds, no matter the reason, he will just erase your existance without a care in the world then forget about it.

He should protect his family, by all means, but he shouldn’t discard his own ethics. He’s no better then Alte if he does, if not worse since there is a big difference between their motives. There were other paths for him to take but he chose to kill in a brutal way after using the other party him self to feel out their powers. Well it’s true that letting her go would have been problematic for the future, but even if we assume this was his only option if he had at least shown some hesitation or remorse for doing something gruesome and inhumane I could at least understand that he wasn’t happy about having to take such an extreme action. Instead though he acts like nothing happened. This IS a problem.

        1. That is the whole charm of the situation and the reason the priestess went full Overlord’s Arche, the abyss staring back at her was Makoto’s killing intent sealed in an impolute set of “values” which would be the white form.

His set of “values” sound like a borrowed speech as Mio said to Tomoe at some point, and the reason for her fervient speech watching Makoto taking distance from Hibiki about just limit hyumans and demons to kill each other, don’t come to Makoto with your shit.

When he was little he was so close to death every second of his life that life or death became indifferent. He can build a nuke and launch it with no regrets.

So for this case is not a problem on his side, just the fatal blunder of a whimsical goddess that Isekai’d Makoto’s family to Japan instead of a third world country to get insta-killed, and then pull him to her world instead of letting him just practice his bow in a peaceful Japan. Just lets hope at some point Tomoe and Mio will travel the world preaching “fall and pray” while wearing the mountain of cosplay clothes they bought.

          1. well you dont need, you just need to wait. remember they bought clothes in lorel? you just need the manga to reach that point, the manga or the anime, the one that reaches it first.

          2. well you dont need, you just need to wait. remember they bought clothes in lorel? you just need the manga to reach that point, the manga or the anime, the one that reaches it first.

        2. Error, he didn’t choose to kill her soul, that was hibiki’s interpretation of the situation, and for all we know her soul its still intact. Makoto was only bent of ending her life, she had such a terrible death cause of her own actions.

And i mentioned this before, people who kills once or twice are different from the people who get use to kill (soldiers, people who life in warring countries, etc), the stop feeling things for those who kill, and thats not bad, those are natural defenses of theirs minds, if they lacked them they would go mad, those who lack these defenses and those who return to peaceful lives usually end up with traumas.

        3. Sorry to say this but your comment is just stupid. Please read the story from the beginning to have a proper understanding

        4. I mean… it’s been shown that since the beginning that a lot of time when makoto goes into battle he ends up entering an emotionless state, in all honesty, I could see the makoto before Tomoe acting similar, as long as it’s in battle

      2. For get thet part of Tomoe is family, she is his lover, and for all purposes she is his wive.

    2. If he like u say , he already kill Tomoki when him asked tomoe in gritonia , it’s battlefield bro , in there only kill or be killed , alte attacked first and ready to kill him , if u want makoto save her and make her in his harem go read another anime protagonist maybe they will do that

      1. It’s been like 2 years at least in the story since his visit in Gritonia, Makoto has changed a lot since then and it’s that change that I’m pointing out. Also it’s not about him killing Alte, it’s about his approach to killing her and the mindset he has developed. To call him cold blooded would be an understatement, when in combat mode he seems to not even aknowledge that his opponents are living being anymore.
IDK if the author is building something deep here and will eventually have him realize how deranged he’s becoming and have him break down or if he’s just appeasing to the fans that seem to like to project them selves onto an overpowered protag that occaisonally goes full edge lord psycho and has a power trip but Makoto’s state of mind when in combat is way to idifferent to feelings and thoughts of other people.

If the fight with Atle is a bad example for you then look back at the fight with Aznoval where Makoto was trying to turn him into minced meat in front of the entire PRG auidiance without even thinking about the consequences. Back then he at least refleced on that and understood that it would have been a mistake and that Aznoval basically save his ass by surrendering. He no longer did any reflection post battle with Alte, even if she was his enemy his way of dealing with her was way over the top. It means his mindset got worse since then.

Well this is just me throwing in a contrasting opinion from a different viewpoint to all the people in the comments just mindlessly putting Makoto on the pedestal and agreeing with every action he takes.

        1. Well the problem is that your analysis is deeply incorrect .

First the time, his visit to Gritonia wasn’t so long ago, at most a year ago before this battle.
Since rembrandt mentioned that the revolution in Aion will happen “in less than a half a year” after makoto finished travelling between nations. If you add the time of the travel to Limia, to the demon country and to Lorel, the time it took for the revolution to be crushed and the time it took before Aion attacked Tsige. at most it would have taken a year, but most probably it would have been between 7 and 9 months.

Then once again, makoto is not psychopathic at all. Check the characteristics of psychopathy.

And then you are right makoto made HUGE mistakes when dealing with PRG, but he is not a psycho when he fights, when he fights he indeed becomes indifferent but he also dissociates the events, but that’s a defense mechanism of his mind, that’s the result of the experiences he has suffered in that world, and that’s not a bad or strange point, the people who get used to combat, who get used to kill people form mental defenses, or what? would it have been more normal for them to have existencial crisis each time they kill an enemy?

And the most important thing is that both fights are completely different. He made mistakes in his fight with PRG, half because of his stupidity and half cause of his dissociation.

But the fight with Alte has nothing of those, she was an enemy he had to killed no matter what. First, she Tortured Tomoe and almost killed Ema, his lover and his close friend. Second, she was a danger for his loved and dear ones. With that his resolve to kill her no matter what is more than enough justified.

Then he wasn’t cruel with how he killed her, His intention was to kill her with mercy, this is proved by his first arrow he shoot when he decided to kill her, it was shoot to her head, in his calculations she should have died with that single shot in his first try. The second would also have killed her instantly and the third was really him just using her body as target. But the rest of the arrows he had to use were the fault of Alte by making herself semi-immortal, He was determined to not let her escape so she wont harm anyone else in the future and she persistently tried to survive, it was inevitable, there was no other option, he would be putting many in danger if she had escaped.

I understand you are only giving a different opinion here, but the truth is that most of us support makoto cause he was in the right when he did those things.

          1. Your analisys is quite good bro, if I were to add one more thing is that he felt bad for killing people in the beginning but he stated in a conversation with Hibitch that he decided that thinking about it would make him feel too bad and that wouldnt apply in a world where is kill or be killed. Is a theory of mine but maybe this way of thinking is the representation of that crack that Chiya saw in him. He has a white figure with a beautiful bow in his hand which seems to be someone with good inclination, but the crack is the representation of his heartless side when he is in combat mode with people that try to harm his people (I wouldnt say harm him because a lot of people say and do bad things to him and he doesnt kill them all). Remember that the only times he showed this “cruel” side of his is when people tried to harm his loved ones (the battle with PRG if I remember correctly Aznoval would kill him and the others if he had the chance, and almost payed the price for just thinking about it)

          2. Hey thanx for your words.

And yeah i also think that crack in his white form has something to do with the influence of his violent experiences in that world.

i don’t accept your words regarding PRG. what happened is not that aznoval wanted to hurt makoto’s people, in fact aznoval came when the battle with the rest of PRG had finished, he offered a battle with makoto to “Fix” the bad blood between kuzunoha and PGR, thats why makoto regrets his actions soon after the battle ended (he acted like a battle junkie).

The problem with makoto when fights is that he dissociates and has tunnel vision. that’s what happened with aznoval, he only though on how to defeat him (quite difficult when he is immortal) and that’s why he almost screw it.

Like i said, the events with PRG were a big screw up from makoto’s side. Not because he is a bad person, but because he was particularly stupid in that arc (if i had to say, he was too disassociated during the whole arc)

    3. let not forget he promised tsuhomi he help the heroes. as well as his thoughts of good with good and evil with evil.

I think he fair average although I do agree he does have his moments of darkness taking hold for a bit. be interesting to see how the priestess should see his true self now.

    4. Psychopathy: traditionally a personality disorder characterized by persistent antisocial behavior, impaired empathy and remorse, and bold, disinhibited, and egotistical traits.

Well where do you see makoto as any of that?

Antisocial? Then he must be the most friendly antisocial i have ever seen.

Impaired empathy and remorse? If he gets any more empathetic with others he will directly has a life crisis, the same goes with his remorse attacks each time he thinks he could have done better or he could have avoid hurting someone.

Bold? Him? its good enough he can now talk without so much problems with those he deems higher people.

Disinhibited? Really? If could speak and do without worrying on the thoughts of those around he would be more charismatic.

Egoistical traits? Uhu, the guy who worries people can get good and cheap things over his profit, the one who is willing to help anyone in need around him, the one who risks his life to help someone who he just met 12 hours ago. Uhu. Yeah. Egoistic bastard.

Enough ironies come on at least know what the word involves before using it, why the fu*k would you think makoto is a terrible and psychopath guy?

He can be cruel that’s a fact and also he can be an as*hole. But not a so terrible person as you want to imply.

    5. I think its was in the SS, his teacher(natsu i think is the name) wanted to teach him about guns, but makoto declined the offer becoz the feeling of being a weapon is much stronger.

      ————————————————————————————————————————————————–
I mean who wouldn’t go bananas, got thrown to the edge of the world….nearly got killed by sofia when he got TP to lamia….got a titled devil by strangers(I mean its not his fault he got TP there)….got TP again to lamia….getting attack by tomoki’s braindead assassins….SURPRISE that braindead assassin was connected to the group that his gonna negotiate, and fought….after tha- SURPRISE AGAIN lorel got attack by braindead people(*ahem* except iroha’s mother)…got revered by troublesome cult & revolutionist & so on.
      ————————————————————————————————————————————————–

If it was me I would go bananas already on the TP case. XD

and it was a war. its kill or be killed (especially if your enemy is an apostle of the goddess with homing lightning strikes)
it was a battle of endurance between 2 person who has a homing attack.

PS: root’s case is another matter.

    6. Dude, almost every comments that you post in this series filled with complain about Makoto bla bla, then protect stupid character.

  60. crazy how makoto has only been nice to hibiki and yet this bitch keeps plotting behind his back trying to kill him lmfao

    1. sadly he still think of her as a school sempai but as soon as she does anything to him that is negative she is in for a world of pain.

    1. Having 3 good to visit you and in friendly relationship with them even spar with 1 of them. And I don’t know if the resident of Asora know that Makoto and Tsukuyomi are friend.

If someone saw the title on his adventures card especially the ‘friend of the Moon God’. It won’t be long before some people see him as apostle of God from another world.

  61. even athena had a hard time defending that surekill barrage of arrows. so it’s impossible to survive that if you are lower tan a goddess.

also alot of comments this chapter lol

    1. Yup, she even need to make her own version of magic armor to control her body during the fight.

Honestly, I am still curious if Makoto also going to do what Athena did during their fight. Magic Armor is an armor made of magic power afterall. Then again, if he can do that it’s definitely going to be like Susanoo’s from Naruto but in smaller size like the fanart fersion(I won’t be surprised if Makoto can make it as big or even bigger than susanoo from Naruto).

And add that he can create more than two arm he can be Asura or Buddha.

Asura: the magic armor covered his body like armor with 2 of his own arm holding bow and arrow, 2 magic arm for spell and the last 2 magic arm for male attack which can be equipped with the Silver arms.
Buddha: the magic armor become bigger with thousand or maybe infinity number of arm like the version of Hashirama and Netero.

  62. It not that he doesn’t care, he’s disconnecting. He was trained like a warrior and fought to the death several times. But he hasn’t given up his previous life.

It’s why he made tomoe responsible for the orphanage. It’s why he worries about victims who aren’t soldiers. It’s why he found dust street disgusting, and why sarii is alive.

He is emotionally still dealing with it all. He’s coping and avoiding troublijg things. Bc he wants to be able to go home if possible. His walls are up bc frankly the world the goddess made is a hell hole
The real reason Tomoki and Hibiki are alive is bc they are humans forced there to that world. But hyumans feel less like people to him until he meets them. I

  63. Hibiki is so dumb lol…even though she is witnessing Makoto’s strength while he is still holding back even fighting against the apostle, she still have thoughts about planning to kill or seal Makoto away lol. How can someone be so dumb tbh, I don’t think she knows the real meaning behind Mio’s and Tomoe’s message to her. They already know what she’s planning to do but they wanna help her notice Makoto’s true strength before she does her plan because Makoto thinks of her in a good light even after she told him that she would commit genocide against the demons and enslave the others demons that have no will to fight. Hopefully the Author let’s Hibiki do her plans so that Makoto egg shell can break from seeing someone that he looks up to betray him

  64. My problem with Hibiki is on one hand she knows the world has it flaws
on the other she really embrasses the heroine role and walks the path the
goddess has laid out to her.
The end goal of the goddes is hyuman superiority and hibiki follows her footsteps with a mindset of I will restore the world as it should be and bring order to it and make flourish.
Hibiki is okay that she will commit genocide and slavery on
all non hyumans in the process, because they are just terrorists that make the majority “suffer”.
She makes the job of the goddess a lot easier that dangerous lunatic.

    1. What’s make it more ironic is that the hyuman race is not even the native species in that world. And so is the Goddess, Root just let her reside in that world. The real native of that world is the non-hyuman.

I am pretty sure that Root already mentioned this to Makoto.

  65. My god imagining how Alte went to Limia then got pierced by arrows constantly makes me wanna see how it looks in the manga or anime adaptation

  66. I had an endless maniacal laughter reading this. Amazing chapter, so are Apostles just random people that end up in this world and the Goddess Blesses them? Like the Adventurers of Origin weren’t summoned.

  68. Man, is there a spell where it rains endless arrow on Alte Corpse, i want those Heroes and that fking apostle to get reminded every night, when they see the corpse gets arrowed.
Also on the same spot lmao.

  69. I want makoto to ask the other Apostle, who mentioned about his Immortality, how does it feel watching his collegue gets arrowed everytime there’s a sign of healing hahahah

  70. Oh the Fking hypocrite hero is back.
Alte is the one who is freaking wrong with her arrogant attitude who just want to kill
everyone. What’s wrong with killing an opponent that’s dangerous for his friends.lol.

  71. lmao, so this is “then i will kill you till morning” version of Makotwo, performed by Makoto but at higher degree lmao

“people die when they are killed” at its finest !!!

  72. -5000 IQ Alte: The Goddess called 2 Apostles and 2 Heroes to stop the Devil.

The Goddess: I’m-a-bring the-a-Devil with my-a-own two hands to this world and abuse him derp-a-derp.

  73. I’m actually concerned Hibiki thinks she can close the gap in power. Like even full on war gods are like he will be trouble when he gets full control over his power and mana.
