Chapter 290: Interlude – In the middle of the night

Translator Note: Hey guys, Reigokai here!

Sorry for the delay on Tsuki ga Michi, but I wanted to accumulate the chapters. Though it looks like the author hasn’t released yet, so I will probably be concentrating on World Reformation until Tsuki releases more.

Just keep an eye on the [Next Scheduled Chapter] widget.

Also, as customary of the beginning of the month, I thank all the patrons in patreon! 😀 I appreciate the support!

Anyways, enjoy the chapter!

The Osakabe household that has been ruling over Kannaoi for a long time, and there has been worries that they have been shouldering for that same amount of time.

-For example; Yaso-Katsui’s Grand Labyrinth.

It existed way before the Osakabe household, got a name for itself, and it was an unexplored labyrinth that was older than even the city of Kannaoi.

It was said to be the place where a Superior Dragon lives, and at times, it would spit out a crazy amount of mamonos that would bring forth heavy damage to the settlements.

But in peaceful times, because of the adventurers that the labyrinth attracts, it becomes a big blessing. It was like an abundant large river that isn’t rare when it overflows.

Even when it is dangerous, people still find worth in gathering there after all.

Learning how to utilize it well will be a subject that the city of Kannaoi will probably be racking their brains about for a long time.

-For example; the military department known as the Ikusabe household.

In the past, they were only one, but at some point in time, they fought, competed, and now,  even the word hate feels like a lukewarm word to describe their antagonistic relationship.

Their names changed, the lands they governed over were separated, and the master they worked under also changed.

At present, the core of the territory is the Osakabe household, but the master the military family serves under and the treatment they receive is better.

In general, the military family possesses more power.

Of course, this isn’t a situation that the Osakabe would like.

-For example; the bloodline of the main household.

Most of the current people of Kannaoi had weaker bodies than that of the general populace.

Even if they raise a family head with care, it is rare for them to live long. To the point that there was a time when they thought this was the work of a curse from some antagonistic power. <the work of an enemy stand!>

That answer has not been found even to this current day.

At any rate, if they were to try to maintain their bloodline to a certain degree of thickness, it makes it that much easier for the child to be born with a weak body.

It was the biggest dilemma of the Osakabe household.

But for some reason, there would be many in the group of people with thick blood that were talented, and there were many who would be revered to as a lord by many.

And so, magic, medicine, and the many experiments to better the constitution of the body were serious matters that the people that serve the Osakabe household couldn’t ignore.

Ironically, to this current day, the one who possesses the best healing properties in Lorel Union is the Osakabe household.

Even though they can’t save themselves, others ask them for salvation; it was already comical in their eyes.

In that history of the Osakabe household shouldering this complicated circumstances, there’s the vassals that have been serving them for generations.

The Kougetsu and Shougetsu brothers also originate from a military family and serve their master.

The older brother Kougetsu received training for the gifted as a warrior and a tactician in his homeland, and protected the household straightforwardly.

The younger brother, Shougetsu, after experiencing being an adventurer and travelling around the world, he supported the household from the shadows as a stealth corps member.

In time, the younger brother would learn all about the conflict between the households and the sad circumstances behind it, and would retire into being the protegee of a princess at a place that was faraway from the center of this conflict.

On the other hand, his older brother stayed at this center…and decided on reformation.

No, what was in his heart was not something that would so gentle as to call reformation.

Revolution or maybe rebellion would be words that would be more accurate.

“With this, things should progress faster. Now that we know the Kuzunoha Company that Sairitz invited surpasses my forecast by so much, it makes it questionable just how much that fox of a woman knows about the situation. The speed in which the plan of Haruka progresses is not enough.”

In the room of Kougetsu, unable to obtain any decent sleep, Kougetsu was measuring the effectiveness of the moves he made in order to make adjustments.

In the scenario that was in his head, there’s the woman that wouldn’t be an exaggeration to call the one who holds the most authority in Lorel, Sairitz.

A resident of the political world that possesses power fitting to be called Empress.

This woman, that still has the card of marriage remaining, was being glared by all the people in the domestic affairs and diplomatic area of Naoi.

And the move she made was the Kuzunoha Company.

On the other hand, the move of Kougetsu was the Empire’s hero, Tomoki, and the brave woman of Osakabe, Haruka.

But those cards of his are not functioning in the way he wishes to.

Leaving aside if the scenario of everything functioning properly actually leading to success, this was creating impatience in Kougetsu. On top of that, the achievements of the Kuzunoha Company in the labyrinth, and them meeting with Osakabe Iroha.

The deciding move to reform Kannaoi and the Osakabe household, he couldn’t manage to reach that point for some reason.

Even though it is so close.

He has remained in obscurity for so long for the sake of that.

Enlarging the power that gathers under Haruka, the immense power of the charm ability of the Empire’s hero that has joined into his playing cards, and also, the existence of Sairitz and the Kuzunoha Company.

Until now, he has been careful and calm, without hurrying no matter what.

Kougetsu, who has been advancing his plans at a decent pace, made one move hurriedly.

In order to move Iroha’s mother -Haruka- a bit faster, an action that was solely for the sake of speeding up the whole of his plan was made.

But that was…a mistake.

Kougetsu understood the mysterious area of the Grand Labyrinth called Alternative Floor, and yet, the Kuzunoha Company proceeded their exploration at breakneck speed, and he was scared of Sairitz’ shadow that stood at their back, which made him hurry.

Even though he is not a religious person, he had gone to the Kishimo temple that he has already grown used to going to, and in that underground where Haruka and a number of her vassals were, he whispered them something.

“The Kuzunoha Company -especially their representative Raidou- seems to be mutual enemies of the Empire hero, Iwahashi Tomoki”, is what he said.

Kougetsu’s miscalculation was just one thing.

He completely underestimated the power of those words. He thought that those words would serve as a trigger. He was expecting it to become an ingredient to make the preliminary battle shorter. He thought it would simply be like putting coal into the fire.

But in truth, it was heavily different.

Those words were a bomb in itself.

Without the requirement of a preliminary battle, those explosive words of his would create a grand explosion.

Only a few days left until its effectiveness becomes a movement.

If it were just that, it would actually be as he wished.

But just by learning that Raidou was an enemy of Tomoki, even the Shadowless tried to kill Raidou the moment they found him.

The moves of the charmed people was something that easily surpassed the imagination of Kougetsu.

But here, there’s one more misfortune.

The woman called Haruka is considered a top-class warrior even when looking back at the history of the Osakabe household. And that power of will is also on the level of a Brave.

That’s why she didn’t become a simple puppet of Tomoki, and was still able to act as a leader.

Her maddened love and her tenacious will had fused into the worst combination.

It was as if she had no lingering feelings towards the man she loved and her own daughter, and was devoted to following her desire of acting for the sake of Tomoki.

She knows about ethics and common sense, but she doesn’t feel worth; all of her decision standards are based on her love to a man she has never met before.

If it is for his sake, she has no problems with doing things that are not allowed to do in society –that is the current Haruka.

Kougetsu has been evaluating the power of the charm all this time, and still hasn’t evaluated the woman called Haruka.

With the piling of this small doubts, a misfortunate coincidence occurred.

Kougetsu will learn in the worst possible way that the woman known as Haruka that he had seen as an ideal hero was nowhere to be found anymore.

“Kougetsu-sama!!”

“What?! You are being noisy!” (Kougetsu)

“Forgive my rudeness, but this is an emergency!! We have received a report from the patrol!! A mysterious group is trying to do a night raid at the Chihiro-Manrai Restaurant!”

“…What? What…did you just say?” (Kougetsu)

“A night raid at Chihiro-Manrai Restaurant!! We have formed a suppression team and are on the way, but the enemy is powerful!! Moreover, this may not be information that has been 100% confirmed, but there are people that said they saw the figure of the missing Haruka-sama there too!!”

“…Impossible.” (Kougetsu)

Kougetsu unconsciously stepped back.

The surprise of the man after hearing about Haruka, the anger of allowing the attackers to the center area where the Chihiro-Manrai restaurant is; these supposed factors made it seem like the stepping back of Kougetsu was a natural reaction, but the truth was different.

He finally understood the mistake in the move he made.

He didn’t understand just what kind of meaning it held for the charmed people to learn about an enemy of Tomoki.

And he didn’t understand just how they would act when they had obtained plenty enough fighting power.

Haruka, who is not simply a fighting puppet but a person that can investigate on her own and is able to make flexible decisions in a sense. After investigating the information of the actual Raidou and Tomoki, she had begun preparations with a face of wrath.

It is true that the Chihiro-Manrai restaurant is a facility that possesses high security and defenses, but the preparations of theirs had already surpassed that.

This wasn’t an attack; this was practically a war.

Forming groups of skilled adventurers, warriors, and stealth corps, and on top of that, having Haruka take the command position herself.

“We are currently putting the confirmation of the situation as our top priority!! The customers that are staying there have already begun evacuating with the guidance of the hotel personnel, and the defense unit has already been dispatched! We should cooperate with the unit and make a pincer attack to settle the situation and…”

This was too soon.

This isn’t how it should have been.

They have not suppressed the information line at all.

At this rate, information that a large scale fight has occurred in Kannaoi will spread in the blink of an eye.

There’s already no way to stop it at this late of a stage.

Now that it has come to this, Sairitz can use this battle and call it an insurrection, and declare doubts on their political management, letting her use that as an excuse to put official troops or a military family in Kannaoi.

Thinking of the worst, the future that they use the confusion to take away Kannaoi from the Osakabe household to give it to a military family is also possible.

Against an opponent that they would normally not want to show a single opening against, they have shown a completely conspicuous opening, and hence, a fatal mistake.

The fall of the Osakabe household.

Whichever it is, they are all things that Kougetsu doesn’t wish for.

He wishes for a strong and accomplished Osakabe household after all.

He wants to make Kannaoi which is the place that the Osakabe household rules over to be the number one most flourishing city in Lorel.

To the point that he would use the descendants of a family lineage that has lost themselves to their grief of their body.

“Haruka…you bastard. Don’t joke around. Are you telling me that in order to kill the enemy of a foreign country’s hero, you don’t care about what will happen to the city you have been born in and your household?” (Kougetsu)

“Kougetsu-sama?”

“…I will be going too. How is the evacuation state at the surroundings of the Chihiro-Manrai restaurant?! Send a messenger!! Try your best to reduce the casualties to the residents as much as possible! If it is the units that are permanently staying in that hotel, just them alone should be able to fight decently. We will be prioritizing the protection of the citizens!!” (Kougetsu)

“Yes, sir!!”

“I won’t let you do it. I definitely won’t accept a conclusion like this! Haruka, what’s the point of you moving on Sairitz interest?!” (Kougetsu)

After the person reporting had left, Kougetsu shouted as he hurriedly proceeded with the preparations.

He was completely dismayed.

As if his own pawns had turned onto himself; they are creating scenarios that are working in the favor of his opponent.

A countermeasure against it has still not appeared in his mind.

But he absolutely cannot ignore it.

The trump card that he has been hiding has been exposed, and the charm power will probably be discovered as well.

Even so, there’s no way he can give up.

He has been living for the sake of creating a strong Osakabe after all.

The Kannaoi citizens will be killed by the military of Kannaoi.

That is a scenario that cannot be forgiven.

Because the military is an existence that is supposed to protect the citizens after all.

Devoting himself to plot scheming for a long time, Kougetsu had also been estranged from swinging a sword in battle.

And now, he will be taking the sword after all this time.

Ironically, it is in order to protect the citizens of Kannaoi from the result of his own plans.

◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆

“A battle in Kannaoi, you say?”

Sairitz, who heard of this report in Naoi, had stopped reading her documents and lifted her head.

“Yes. They are apparently doing a night raid at Chihiro-Manrai Restaurant. The troops of the Osakabe household have been dispatched and are cooperating with the defense unit of the hotel.”

The one reporting this had an attire that was easy to tell that this middle-aged man was a stealth corps member.

Surprisingly, they had a grasp of the information of a faraway place at practically real-time.

They must have quite the surveillance in that city, or maybe this is the result of excelling information gathering skills.

This time, it was the former.

The information gathering skills of Lorel are indeed growing by the year, though it may be a different story if it were a neighboring settlement, but the more the distance, the lower the accuracy of the information is.

Then, why did they have such surveillance prepared?

It is not because they felt a strange atmosphere from Kannaoi, or because the Osakabe household was showing strange movements, nor was it because the Empire was interfering in a suspicious manner.

It is because there’s a guest that Sairitz had invited herself staying there.

“I see. No matter how it rolls, it won’t change the fact that this will serve in our favor.” (Sairitz)

If it were the usual, Sairitz would be having a wide smile in the face of this overwhelming luck, but she still maintained her calm expression.

“Yes.”

“And, what about them?” (Sairitz)

“A few of them have gone to the labyrinth since morning, and it seems like a number of their personnel are in standby at the hotel. We still haven’t grasped the information on the inside, but we do know that the hotel personnel is evacuating the people.”

“Marito, make gathering information of them as the highest priority. Also, contact the site. Do your best to provide them support. No matter what they ask of us, don’t refuse. I will do something about it, so accept anything. Understood?” (Sairitz)

“I will contact them as soon as possible. How should we move after?” (Marito)

“…No need to.” (Sairitz)

“Hah?”

“We do nothing. Only in the case where the Kuzunoha Company requests for our help will we do our all to execute anything. Right…if there’s extra hands, help out in the evacuation and rescue of the citizens.” (Sairitz)

“…Uhm, I know this may be me overstepping my bounds but…can I ask what we will be doing regarding the way we will deal with the Osakabe?” (Marito)

An unbelievable chance has fallen in front of them.

It should be completely impossible to not do anything.

Thinking this, Marito mixed slight self-interest as he urged an answer from his master.

This may be an opportunity to finally reach a conclusion to the long history between the military family and the Osakabe household, so it can’t be helped that he would lose a bit of his composure.

“Didn’t I say we won’t be doing anything? Marito, it is not like I don’t know about the antagonism between your military family and them, but…hold it down. Right now in that city, there’s the tails of a dragon and a tiger that we can’t step on. Listen well. If we were to step into this matter thoughtlessly…all the military family will be wiped out, you know.” (Sairitz)

“Y-You jest.” (Marito)

“I am as serious as I can be. Because of the encounter between Iroha and the Kuzunoha Company, the situation has changed into an abnormally delicate and dangerous matter. The representative Raidou-sama, who is staying there, is the one that is working as the teacher of your son, Izumo, at Rotsgard.” (Sairitz)

“……”

“By the time you meet him again, that child should have definitely become stronger than you. Raidou is the kind of man that possesses that much achievements to even accomplish something like that as a teacher in his spare time. That’s why, don’t place your personal feelings in this occasion and just watch over it. This is an important test case.” (Sairitz)

“I admit the matter with Izumo. He is several steps better than me. But I am not planning on being overcome for at least 10 to 15 years though… I understand. If it is okay, can I hear about the meaning of the words ‘test case’?” (Marito)

“Just how will they react when attacked directly? Just how will Raidou-sama see the approaching danger to his comrades, and how will he move? In Rotsgard, there was that big of an incident, and yet, it looked as if he viewed it as not his problem after all. That’s what I meant.” (Sairitz)

“Thank you very much. Well then, we will be doing our job as eyes, if there’s spare hand, we will rescue and assist the citizens, and in the case that the Kuzunoha Company requests our help, we will do our all to fulfill it.” (Marito)

“Then, step out. Also, there’s no need to hold back regarding this matter. Come report to me whenever.” (Sairitz)

“Understood. Well then, I will be excusing myself.” (Marito)

Marito’s figure disappears.

The only one that remained was Sairitz who had a complicated expression in her face.

The reason for that expression was because she has been unable to process the many changes since the time she invited them to her country.

“A perfume that possesses the charm power, the inside fight of the Osakabe household, the many testimonies of people that say have witnessed the Adventurers of Origin: Aznoval, Rokuya, Ginebia, Haku Mokuren. The representative of the Kuzunoha Company and a temporary teacher at Rotsgard Academy, Raidou. To think he would be such a potent medicine.” (Sairitz)

It would have been fine if they were to just do something about the problematic group of mercenaries that were carefreely shut deep underground in Lorel without minding about political influence.

The existence of Picnic Rosegarden may be popular inside the country, but in terms of the outside, they have a side that is slightly difficult to handle.

For Sairitz, they are an existence that she would prefer if they were to enter the control of the country, or just disappear.

If they were to be lend for the war between Aion and Tsige, their name won’t be heard in a bad light by the foreign countries royalties, nobles, and merchants for a while.

Of course, she made this proposition to the Rembrandt Company with the premise that they will provide plenty enough fighting strength to have an active participation in Tsige. Sadly, it was obviously not a proposition that was purely out of goodwill.

But the Kuzunoha Company easily surpassed the expectations of Sairitz, and have made big accomplishments that they didn’t even mean to.

In the end, the diplomatic negotiations and the domestic affairs’ undercover moves she was planning on proceeding with had been stopped almost completely.

Thinking about what would have happened if this were in the city of Naoi, and it involved her and the Priestess, the heart of Sairitz felt slight pity towards Kannaoi and the Osakabe household.

But because of the many new tasks that were piling up like a mountain due to this, all that pity had dispersed without lasting even a few minutes though.

“Now then, I wonder what kind of conclusion it will bring about. The dirty plan of the Empire, the darkness of Kannaoi, and they have also dug out the legends of Lorel splendidly. Really, if possible, I would have wanted to enjoy this story as a spectator.” (Sairitz)

With half expectations and half fear, the Empress of Lorel didn’t take off her tired expression as she extended her hand to the remaining documents.

      1. …and Makoto has a flammenwerfer or worse. Wrong move the mosquitoes will annoy him to use it burning the whole place down.

    1. She was called that, I think, but of a ceremonial ti back in the Rotsgard incident. This may be the first time someone has said it with the actual implication that she is the ruler.

  1. Everybody in this chapter is making the “I stepped in shit” face, with Kougetsu rehe really should have noticed a turd that smelly, and Sairitz thinking “It worked out because these weren’t my shoes” but it’s gonna cost me to clean this up….

      1. that analogy really hit the spot of that Kougaysu person, though that everything will always act like his planning when he himself didnt fully check and gather the intel power of the charm and think it wont become a hidrance in his plan, btw…. where is Seinbot !? did Orca finally eat him ?

        1. He didn’t take a safety check afterall thats what he get lol as if everything is grasped in his hand but to big to hold it lol

          1. love
            ləv/Submit
            noun
            1.
an intense feeling of deep affection.
“babies fill parents with intense feelings of love”
sinonim: deep affection, fondness, tenderness, warmth, intimacy, attachment, endearment.

            2.
a person or thing that one loves.
“she was the love of his life”

I found this on the internet. The definition of love. hahaha~

          2. Friends don’t say they love you. If your friend says he/she loves you, it’s either a lie or they want to get out of the friendzone.

Parent and child is a different kind of relationship. I believe that it is not love but a relationship of trust and protectiveness. That is all.

  2. wow all the scheme and its always Makoto’s BAD LUCK that trigger it….. not sure if that BAD LUCK didnt just evolve into AURA OF BAD LUCK to the surrounding…. and poor Iroha mother….. a person with high intelligence and also power fall victim because of the bastard and idiocy of one person’s greed…..
Iroha-chan…. you might have to be braced yourselves to become an orphan since if Makoto’s Snap…. well….. everything will be gone…

    1. Ultimate luck clashed, everyone should know by now that clashing things don’t actually cancel out, they just splash. Iroha’s Ultra Good luck versus Makoto’s Ultra Bad Luck, just spread chaos over the whole region, some ancient dragon bones will probably crawl out of the Dwarf mountains to seek revenge on that talking sword next….

      1. It’s like how hot air and cold air don’t actually cancel each other out.

No, instead of getting rid of two problematic forces or neutralizing one unwanted one with an attractive one, it becomes a game of tail-chasing tag and soon-OHFAKA TORNADO!

        1. I’ll be honest, I thought my initial idea when hearing about it was cooler than what it actually turned out to be.

Sharks that are being thrown around by ragdolls with all kills being pure bad luck isn’t nearly as threatening as a shark with the ability to roar tornados out, or some sort of ocean demon that flies on whirlwinds.

      2. Just like playing Beyblades, looks amusing if you’re spectating but there’s always a chance of those things flying out the ring coming at you.
So,Sharknado was about a shark filled tornado? All this time I thought it was about an unending wave of torpedo-strapped sharks that was specially raised by a mad scientist to destroy California.

        1. No, movies about real life don’t really make it very far in the mainstream, if it doesn’t say documentary nobody is gonna believe there’s a threat to California, and even then they would think it was already taken care of.

      1. She isn’t affected by Tomoki’s charm directly, did she?
If it’s just the perfume charm effect, maybe Shiki will find a way to reverse the condition.

        A new product from Kuzunoha!
A perfume that can both give you a heavenly scent and debuff abnormal condition. At the same time.
This gonna be popular with the ladies.

        1. Or another group would probably use the perfume to their own advantage causing more chaos and problems. It kind of makes me wonder what can they make that could get rid or block anything that has connection with divine power?

          1. I think that his power (and Hibiki’s) is related to a ‘Ruling’ ability. It is probably an ability not unlike a ‘mandate to rule’ that was given by the god (if you remember high school history, you will understand the concept).
Futsu did say something that hinted at this.
There has to be an artifact or something that can cancel the mandate.

          2. I do not remember High School that much and pretty much hated high school as I got into college. There maybe an artifact that cancel out the power but if I had to go with who can cancel it out now it would be Hibiki power since there is good chance her power she received from that God in the Demon invasion is magic cancellation. And if the author should have Hibiki and Tomoki should it would cause a huge up roar and a great change for the would to have 2 hero’s choosen by the Goddess to fight because of Tomoki out of control power.

        2. Oh yes it will be high demand and empires falls lol
And the brand model is shiki in the perfume
And a tradh repellent for sure

        3. It’s more like the charm was transformed from gaze-form to mass produced scent form.

From what I understand, the issue was never “can Makoto dispel it”. It’s “can the target survive after it’s been dispelled?”

In the case of the assassins, Makoto decided the answer was no. In the case of Iroha’s mother though…well, we’ll see.

      2. hmm… am i the only one that have a stupid idea of making a stink bomb to neutralize the charm parfume ?
a debuffer stink bomb that will knock out you and your status from all ailment
        just for the LuLz

    1. Ugh, After reading this chapter, This made me hype on what’s gonna happen on the next chapters!!

God damn Trashmoki is really annoying. I want to see him getting beaten up by Makoto again! To be honest, I want him dead, but Makoto has a promise with Tsukiyomi-sama regarding about the other heroes so I doubt he would kill him.

      1. Threeway battle for Lorel, Kougetsu brought over Tomoki’s perfume to cause a revolution, Sairitz brought over a batch of Chaos (Kuzunoha) to bring about a change in the great ruling families, and Chiya is backing Hibiki, whatever she may end up doing there…all three heroes.

      2. Well not like he cant make him a criple, something like make his body that he cant receive the blessings of that bug and then rip apart his legs and arms, then finally get rid of all victims of thrashmoki charms (from what we know Makoto and his companions can cure even more complicated curses – i am looking at you tree making curse of forest onis – but well for that to happen Thrashmoki needs to just lay his hands on one of his companions or friends and there wont be even one of his hair left after Makoto is done eith him).

And like really Author-sama, from the name of chapter i expected more, like Makoto finally saying his feelings to Mio and Tomoe (well the chapter itself was great but you are just prolonging it too much bro…. i know you want to leave us on cliffhanger, but there are almost like every chapter a cliffhanger. Cliffhangers are something to be enjoyed and not something to be tormented by…)

      3. Makoto should do the Damocles Sword thing Satou did to trashmoki and the princess
they will start thinking if they really want to mess around

sry for the bad english it’s not my native lenguage

    2. You guys are too nice. Just Teabagging and hanging a sword. I changed my mind in killing him. He need to atone for his sins in his whole life. PAINFULLY.

      https://31.media.tumblr.com/d2781d1504ea3902eba448907d50cc74/tumblr_no2uw0sUzG1sfvjpeo2_500.gif

Like him getting raped by gay men or a horse in his whole life. Of course he is not allowed to suicide.
Or like what happen to the priest guy in volume 7 of overlord. Instead of limbs, cut off his dick, grind it, then force him to eat his own dick. Regrow it, rinse and repeat. Of course he is not allowed to suicide.

There are more, but I must refrain with this.

      1. It was DMCA-ed in volume 9 I guess. But it was already released in the internet so they were late, really late. After the DMCA, some people in the reddit translated volume 10 and 11 and released the pdfs. At first I was in doubt if it was the real one, but after seeing the pages in more 300+ pages and comparing the summary to the translated one, I think it’s legit.

Just checked the reddit today, there’s already the volume 12 translation of it too. I don’t know if the publishers gave up since the download link shows up so easily with my google-fu.

  3. Thanks for the chapter, Reigo-senpai.

Well… damn. It looks like we’re on a major cliffhanger and the author’s outta chapters. Still, it will be nice to read more World Reformation while waiting, that one’s grown on me. Anywho, will be seeing ya’ll at the next update.

  4. …Huh. So this has just occurred to me.

This world and Earth have this unique relationship where world travelers can slip into this one (and possibly the other way around, but that’s like an ant falling into the sea) to and from any era.
And we have the Adventurers of Origin, who are modern Japanese that have slipped over here several centuries ago and were prominent names in their prime.

The train of thought I’m getting at is something like this:
    1. The Osakabe household is naturally sickly despite having great talent.
    2. The household probably have this weird match of constitution and talent because they have Wise blood in them.
    3. Makoto’s parents are nobility from Kaleneon, the country Root was the Dragon Princess in alongside her husband, who had a massive harem. (I assume Kaleneon is the country referred to in relation to the Root-summoning item).

    4. …Could it be that someone from the Adventurers of Origin is Makoto’s ancestor? Could Root be one of his ancestors?

      1. Eh. You could say that it’s squicky, but I think that’s just what’s going to happen when you’re dealing with immortal beings.

I mean, your descendant by…say…5 generations down has the same blood relation to you as a fifth cousin, right? As far as cousin marriages go in our modern world that frowns on a former common practice, that’s already pretty distant.

        …Also, Root is a deviant.

    1. Someone made that case, the Root as an ancestor one, maybe in the NU Forums, I don’t think anyone liked the story seen through that lens.

As for the Adventurers of Origin, they were all modern Japanese, from the same gaming guild it sounds like, who appeared at different points in history, Aznoval is the oldest, but he had a younger brother who started a family and died…then Root’s husband the Harem King who also didn’t become immortal….All the history gets screwy when you check for Wise influence, or maybe Wise under the influence…?

    2. I think that all of Root’s children manifest as dragons in some way (e.g. Sofia, who I don’t think was even created in a normal way… wait, it’s Root, why did I even mention that?), so I expect that it would have been mentioned if Makoto’s parents were known in Kaleneon as “dragon children”.

      1. Sofia had atavistic traits, she was several generations removed, according to Root she just managed to be born with similar traits to Root. Kinda like how a great great granddaughter will have identical looks to an ancestor, those traits just come up to the surface by chance.

      2. countrymage, pretty sure its not chance perse, rather it would be statistical probability i am fairly sure. punnett squares in biology (yay!) tells of the likelihood of this happening. most often the kind of thing you speak of is so rare as to be nearly nonexistent naturally, as it would take a set of traits common throughout several generations to produce a set of similarities between an ancestor of say 5+ generations ago and present day individual(s). which i wont say is uncommon. still, genepools dont really allow for those extreme similarities to occur without some form of incest going on, whether its distant relatives or close ones. scary thought eh?

      3. Well firstly, no, Root’s characteristics as a dragon don’t necessarily manifest at all other than being exceptionally strong.

Secondly, my point of Root being an ancestor isn’t the main point here so much as another Wise being Makoto’s ancestor.

Makoto’s heritage has always been a mystery. He was born with a hyuman body’s weakness, but also human strength. He has hyuman-rooted affinity for magic and blessings, but a human’s appearance. His mother had an affair with a demon, but he’s the second child with the matter being 12 years past before his parents even jumped worlds.

Just what is he, in that case? Well, could it be that Makoto is truly a hyuman, but just so happens to have human ancestry-with Root’s husband, moreover?

Could it be that his human attributes just happened to surface much like Sophia had with her dragon heritage? If so, maybe one aspect of his ungodly strength is the fact that he’s one of the most human descendants of a Wise that also just so happens to grow up in their native environment.

      4. @psychronia – I’ve seen a few people use birth order as an explanation why he isn’t the demon’s child, but that doesn’t take magic into account – perhaps the demon’s influence fell upon the firstborn boy, or something to that effect

        1. Well, if you’re going to include magical influence to that extent, then all bets are off. There was nothing specifying “first born son” or anything like that.

But that aside, I think the stronger argument is the fact that Makoto’s parents spend several years (12, I think?) training and leveling up in order to earn the Goddess’s permission to leave her world. After such a long time, it feels safe to say none of their children are the demon’s.

    3. It would certainly be interesting. But a too generic development in my opinion.
The reason for makoto’s unbelievable power growth capabilities need some more fleshing out like HOW exactly is he being in the state of life and death at the same time when he shoot his bow, WHAT makes him able to do that, WHY is he able to do that. So many questions and so many possible answers… being a decendant of a dragon may be the answer to this but… I think we need something more than just that.

  5. Thanks for the chapter!

Dang, I feel so bad for the people in the Osakabe who were charmed. It wasn’t their fault at all, but now they are trying to destroy everything they love. Damn Trashmoki……….

  6. Thanks for the chapter. Sounds like this is going to lead into some kind of war for this country and the empire.

  7. Eeey! Izumo’s dad makes an appearance! So Raidou’s students have already begun to surpass big name soldiers that assist world leaders, huh? I admit, I underestimated them.

I would have thought it would take at least another two months before they become world-class individuals.

Speaking of world leaders, truly, Saritz is one of the smart world leaders in this story, possibly second to Zef. Describing Kuzunoha’s presence as a dragon and tiger’s tail is exceptionally accurate.

I wonder whether it was Kougetsu’s or Saritz’s stimulus that was too strong in this case? On one hand, pressing the Tomoki button was the cause of this entire mess(incidentally making Kougetsu a good scapegoat if Picnic Rose Garden still wanna vent).
On the other, the technical “medicine” and “stimulus” is definitely Raidou Kuzunoha; it kinda feels like Kougetsu only got so unlucky because that turn of events brought a strong enough inconvenience to Makoto to activate his passive [Extraordinary Bad Luck (EX+)].

  8. I’m really sick of Sairitz and pretty much all these leaders of Lorel including its hero. They all have that ugly personality where they ONLY use people for all they’re worth as stepping stones and think nothing of it. They’re like that one “friend” that only shows up and acts chummy with you when they want something and having dealt with this type of person irl they are total mood-kidders when they show their ugly faces and I can’t be happier than the moment I can drop them on their butts and have nothing further to do with them. This is ALL Sairitz is while she has Kuzunoha sole all her problems for her while trying to “chain” them at the same time.
Don’t care about her position as a ruler, there are better ways of going about doing what she is. She doesn’t COEXIST with people, only USE and SCHEME to keep people under her thumb. Hope she doesn’t survive till the end of this series.

    1. Well that’s a bit harsh. I think she’s doing rather well for herself, all things considered.

Humans are all, by nature, living through life trying to use anyone and anything for some form of personal profit anyway.

      1. With a degree of empathy that lets a person draw a line where they won’t go beyond a certain point out of respect for another individual as a person. This chapter was the 1st time where she is mentioned to exhibit this…for all of 3 or so minutes until she went back to not caring at all. And I don’t think I’m being harsh at all. Imagine a parasite clinging to you with the full intention of draining your blood until you die. You’d rip it off wouldn’t you. It doesn’t care about you and neither should you care about it. But after its attempt to try to do that to me along with the threat of it attempting to do it again, I’d actively work to eliminate it. Sure, we, as humans use each other, but most of us don’t only evaluate each other by terms of worth all the time, willing to always toss others aside despite having a conscience that knows that the action is wrong. Those that delve too deep into this mindset aren’t trustworthy and usually destroy themselves when everyone gets fed up with being used and leaves them to their fate when they fall.

        1. Most parasites, the ones that care about you, will inject you with chemicals that lower your cholesterol and prevent blood clots that lead to strokes. Seems like they really want you to be healthy for as long as you are feeding them.

As for Sairitz, she doesn’t seem as happy as she would be if all these things had luckily happened without Kuzunoha being involved, she set this plan in motion to earn a favor from Kuzunoha, and to get some use out of the mercenaries in the dungeon. She’s making a name for Lorel, by bringing all these hidden assets out of the woodwork.

          1. That’s the problem! I had trouble expressing it in words, but calling Saritz a parasite doesn’t work because that implies both malice and dependence on her part.

Saritz might be manipulative and opportunistic, but that’s about it. I would even say it’s self-defensive enough to not be considered a bad thing. She’s just a leader looking out for her country.

      2. well even Sairitz is gambling with Makoto’s tendency to doing something, by inviting him she also inviting the destruction of her own nation she know the risk but still taking the betting

      3. a parasite is normally defined as a living being that feeds on another while providing no benefit too the host. you’re taking about a symbiote. like spider-mans black suit, which is a mutualistic symbiote. it gave spider-man benefits, spider-man benefitted it. that’s what symbiosis is, no parasite benefits its host by definition.

          1. Well, leeches having medical uses (wait, I thought that was an old wives’ remedy?) is more about using them creatively than their direct benefit.

An equivalent would be if Kuzunoha manipulated those opportunistic adventurers early in the story into accidentally benefiting the company while they acted naturally selfish.

          2. Yeah, I know, but apparently medical researchers have gone back to leeching since it’s an all natural blood thinner and anti-coagulant.

Really though, Kuzunoha’s whole business model falls under this description. Think about it, all of their interactions look like a money laundering scheme, but with their artificial scarcity and the fact that all their materials are “farmed” in Asora, it means that more and more money is coming into Asora than out. They do no make their opinions known, but they influence all the world’s nations….

    2. For a leader in war era, that thought is considered as good leader (in good way) because he/she has been entrusted to lead and protect people against threat. In this story Sairitz want to surpressed revolt from Osakabe Household and she want getting good connections with Kuzunoha Company so she need resolve to protect Loreal even with nasty scheme.

Well that what I think about Sairitz . And sorry if my English is bad 🙂 .

    3. Where do you get Sairitz trying to control or chain Raidou? The only ‘chain’ that he barely acknowledges is Tomoe’s newest Edo accessory ‘princess with amazing good luck’. Whose assassin’s are eviscerated in seconds without him even interrupting the conversation, much, lol.
Sairitz & Zed are the only leaders that realise that Makoto’s temper is way more dangerous then the War, let alone personal politics. She doesn’t have time to enjoy or take immediate advantage of Osakabe’s screw up or worry more than a few minutes about 1 city’s population. Trashmoki’s charm potion invasion is minor as well. She knows that if Makoto is set off he can wipe the entire country off the map.
      Literally. ☠☢
Sure suggesting Rose Garden as mercenaries for Raidou gets them out of her hair while buying brownie points. But she’s doing anything she can to to try to figure out how to stay on his good side. Period. If she sees a way to make him happy while benefiting herself, more power to her!
Sairitz wants to keep far away from grabbing this monster tiger’s tail. She just wants to know the best ways to pet it, keep it happy & not piss it off. 🐯🍦😈

      Thanks for the chapter 👍

  9. Thanks for the chapter.

Just by looking this chapter, i can now understand y the nx chapter will take a while. Think the author is still thinking of whats the nx move of kuzunoha, their actions, reaction, consequenses etc. Cant wait

  10. The trash splendidly and unknowingly step on a dragons tail and made the politics there more dangerous……ggwp trash I’m expecting you to be killed before the goddess but…. oh well
    Thanks for the chap ~

  11. Oh im waiting waiting im thought author will hiats again 🙁
Really lorel? Its stupid when y only have sword but y make war with walking nuclear bomb
trashmoki dog shit hope yu dead after tis

  12. damn, they really need to find a way to heal all the charm victim or else makoto would have no choice except to kill them all, can’t wait to see when kougetsu find out he really fucked up really bad

and seriously, they need to do something to remind tomoki his damn place

  13. http://oi66.tinypic.com/mlidk7.jpg

Our house mascot, Sir Orange, wants me to thank Reigokai for the latest chapter and to all the people who supported us during our troubled times. Thank you.

Sir Orange also said that you may pet him while he take his afternoon nap, but no belly rubs.

*useless Orange didn’t help us at all*
    *please ignore my ugly arm*

    1. I envy you I miss my lovely caring cat 4 yrs ago
When my mom told me about her death the exact day I was wondering why my misfortune keep occuring
I cried a lot secretly though

      1. … Sorry to hear that, friend.

Actually, we don’t own a cat.
This guy is a freeloader. A resqued cat to be exact.
We helped him once when he broke his leg while still a kitten, and a second time when we save him from above the fence during recent flood. He never left our place since then.

Is this how you get a cat ??

        1. It depends
My cat just pop out nowhere hearing it cries under the bed and didn’t know where it came from and how when it was a kitten, and I did took care of it as it grown up and stick like a glue to me when I’m around at home
It sad that I lost her when I was away from home for college even told me that she was restless and waiting for me to get home.. :'(

      2. Don’t be sad friend! We are here for you! Here! You can pet my head if you like~ Even though I am a bear I can certainly Meow! NYAAAAAARGH!!!!!
        (Seriously though… cheer up yeah?)

    2. Ugly arm? UGLY ARM?!
DUDE! THERE IS TOO MUCH VEIN ON YOUR HAND TO BE COUNTED! AREN”T YOU SECRETLY SOME KIND OF ORCA PEOPLE?!

Joking aside, say hi to Sir Orange for me~ I like cats~
      *mumbles* they are delicious…

  14. Lorel is in turmoil, kuzunoha is getting anither big powerup (Tomoe+Futsu powah!!), Tsige is making their independence. So many things happening now.

Oh, and Trashmoki, while not now, will inevitably get rekt(um) really, REALLY hard later on.

  15. Yes! another chapter! I never get bored anymore. When there isn’t any tsuki ga michi, there’s world reformation. We don’t deserve this, but I definitely appreciate it.

  16. welp…. poor Iroha… she will see her Mom become a Bitch and will get Rekt by Makoto….
if Iroha or his People got hurt or die… Kannaoi or the Household would become History.

      1. Makoto’s Crew – plain clothes special forces members who’ve had a rough day.
Haruka – crackhead leading crackheads breaking into Makoto residence.
Kougetsu – dealer who’s about to regret their life choices.

  17. Thanks 4 the chapter!

They sure live in interesting time. And with Makoto’s luck, it will get more interesting.

    1. I mean…if you lead with “With Makoto’s Luck…”, then almost everything can be used to complete that sentence.

The only exception I can think of is “…everything will go smoothly.” and any synonymous phrases.

  18. .
     ∧__∧
    ( ´・ω・`) (○) Thanks….
    ,( ヽ∩∩ノ),、ヽ|〃,,, Nepu……..
    “““ ““ ““ ““ ““ ““ ““ ““““ ““

  19. Pretty sure the hotel guards are gonna gonna block most of them but for the remaining stupid adventurers well root gonna kicked them. And they will get their ass handed to them by blue san and co or was it another group lol. If only tamaki was there it will be a new legend about a goddess of war lol

  20. THIS THIS IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the kind of chapter that makes me love this series so mutch. Thanks for the effort as ever Regokai, well so mutch is going on on the underground here. Sairitz git what she wanted but did she??? The Kuzonoha company is uncontrolable wild horse and when they move they shift everything. I had the impression that Iraha mother had an affair with Tomoki, thanks god that hasn’t happened, but what did the author meant when it said that she even revealed an affair with someone that wasn’t her husband???? What would makoto do to her now that for what he has said she is to far gone from the charm, will he kill her compromising his relationship with his student and his fiance??? Or will he remove the charm and try to help in a non bloodstained way???

    1. Thats dark man but not to black
You don’t want to make a kid hate you because of her parent do you?
So the choice is kill the fucking charm I mean purify her er
      Ahen

      1. I know is dark and there is where the hole dilenma of the situation is in, because I think that he has been warming up to Iroha I don’t believe that he would like to do something that creates so mutch pain for her, but for what I have understod of Makoto so far, and what Iroha Kaa-san has done then by his definition she is already far gone (wich means that only death should release her).

  21. hmmm after forgetting the TRASH , and here I need getting remembered him again after pretty long times … well a antagonist character with bad impression is good sometimes and will be more good if in the end he/she getting tragic ending to.

      1. ugh … you make me remembering that bug goddess … yeah I know about them but this is not just limited to them about “how many antagonists will appear in the future?”, we don’t know until they appear .

that bug is like mortal enemy and that trash is like “you piss me off, bastard” for makoto

      2. Well, if you consider “antagonist” to be defined as “anyone that opposes the protagonist”, then a bunch of other people could be included, like Hibiki. Possibly even gods depending on what happens in the future.

  22. Thanks for the chapter~

In a blink more than a hundred readers commented on this, wow… Unbelievable so many liking to this story and I totally agree with all of you. Tired of cliche “isekai” hero-demon king stuff? Replace that with this novel with a protagonist holding untold power that neither the Heroes, the Demon King and that world’s superior deity the Goddess wouldn’t know what hit them.

And to this chapter topic – The Empire’s Hero Tomoki must be all means eliminated. Well the author wouldn’t rush that at that point it as the story must reach its climax against the protagonist tipping plot against the ugly (mentally) Goddess in the upcoming confrontation of him with that b***h. That guy with the devil’s deceiving power is already overstepping his boundary and may have perhaps confidence he can accomplish all believing in the Goddess’s power bestowed to him but short-sighted that his daring goal can still be blocked and stopped. Defeated by the Immortals and Makoto in the coming battle with the Hero’s face being smeared to dirt and Makoto’s dark side or him completely destroying him.
Even I want that kind of character even fiction sent to hell since his ugly motive revealed being summoned in that world and his meeting to Makoto and wanting to get his dirty hands on Tomoe, sick bastard. Just when that person gonna die. A big question but in every story its bound to happen when the purest ugly side is shown ultimately desecrated to death.

  23. “Sorry for the delay on Tsuki ga Michi, but I wanted to accumulate the chapters. Though it looks like the author hasn’t released yet, so I will probably be concentrating on World Reformation until Tsuki releases more.”

Hi Rei its been a while that I post some comment but after read yours, I did think about share my theory.
I think the author did come here read your translations and also everyone posts, I’m based in the fact that some of the release did come after you catch up the raw and small changes in the history development
I think its a good pace 1 chapter every 2/3 weeks, however every week goes well too Xp

As always, thanks for your work

  24. Thanks for the chapter! it’s always hard and annoying to read about that charm guy antic.. but well,he won’t live long anyway….

  25. First of all, thanks for the Chapter! Really enjoy reading your translations. Second, I think out of all the comments, there was one person who made a comment on something that I was thinking of (I think their name was DarkWiz or something like that). In one of the alternate timelines/ dreams, didn’t something happen that made Raidou complete obliterate Lorel? Could this upcoming battle be something of a point in time that could decide if Raidou does or doesn’t follow that dream? I mean, we already know that one of his triggers is trash-moki (still laugh about that nickname), and everyone already knows his stench in involved. If it is discovered that this was intentional to some degree, could there be a possibility that Raidou loses his cool, and his ‘shell’ cracks, unveiling whatever darkness scared the bejeezus out of the priestess? Looking forward to seeing what the author cooks up.

    1. I think no
I bet when he already seen enough of lorel that has the wise influence that make your heaf hurt that the the wise fetish are showing as well finding out about the dungeon and the apples I guess

      1. dont think the fetish thing is the trigger of destruction, Makoto only snap when something really really ANNOYING LIKE A FAKIN MOSQUITOES THAT MANAGE TO AVOID ALL THE CLAPPING AND STILL BUZZING NEAR YOUR EAR level, it could be in that one Hibiki is in Lorel and she do something that do the trigger of Makoto’s wrath

    2. NAw I don’t think so. During that dream Makoto doesn’t even meet with Tomoe or Mio, and the rest of his followers. He was saved by The empire and he fell in love with the princess (you know… the cunning gun powder obsessed one).

    3. No I don’t think that whats happening can guet even close to that dream sequence, in the first place when he destroyed Lorel he was working under Tomoki at the time, and he did it because Tomoki sended him to subjegate the country, to bad for him that Makoto in that timeline instead of understanding it as conquering, decide to just guet ride of the country completely and guet done with it.

  26. Ok thats what smart ass get – When you tried advancing further if your scheming plans but only to speed up digging up your own grave (lol)

    As Sairitz mentioned about Raidou
Imagine him making excuses as if not his problem while raising his right hand as if giving out a speech .

Also ” they have also dug out the legends of Lorel splendidly”
Makoto level up to Indiana Jones class

      1. You are too hyped for this man… not that I can tell you off or anything…

LET THE BLOOD RAIN FALL! THEY SHALL BOW DOWN TO OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR MAKOTO! LET THE FIRST BANQUET OF HELL BEGIN!

  27. Hi there. Thanks for the chapter. Anyway, i would Like to see tomoki get tormented by his little cutie zombies 24/7. He don’t deserve to get makoto dirtied. Or see him reflect about his s*it just one time :/

  28. I can see a hidden critic to us as a species in here.
“There are humans that are worse than the devil, in terms of inflict harm to the neighbor”

  29. Thanks for the chapter!

Raidou being able to bring up soldiers/students at the level of or surpassing her second in command, whilst treating it as a side job must be frightening to her. So far with what Makoto has shown her, he’s either inferior to the heroes or on par but what she could be sure of, is that he’s stronger than anyone under her command.

Normally with this much evidence, she would think her losses would be great but victory would be possible against Makoto and if those ‘legends’ inside the labyrinth were to join, she would definitely win. So I wonder what brought her to the conclusion her country would be destroyed? In the worst case she would win with heavy losses, so much so, that she would need to go full defense mode against other countries. Probably to the point of only holding down one city unable to do anything should foreign soldiers occupy other areas of Lorel.

( please don’t mention Makoto’s power level to me, the reader, this is in Sairitz pov)

Originally her intentions were to use Kuzunoha’s visit to settle foreign and domestic affairs, I don’t know about foreign but domestically, points towards the families in kannaoi, especially the Osakabe household. And it seems Makoto meeting Iroha was a bad idea for Sairitz, since Makoto might develop feelings for her (not love) and ending up being in his care through all of this. Saititz has not moved in to Naoi to seize the Osakabe household because of what relationship Iroha might have developed with Makoto or what promises they might have made to each other. It’s kind of a let down knowing Izumo’s father and Sairitz care little for Iroha, since her only use was a marriage with Izumo but if events played out how Sairitz wanted, Osakabe would be done for, so would any use for Iroha.

    1. Sairitz learned of Makoto’s strength (or in her case, Kuzunoha’s strength) during the matters in Rotsgard, where she witnessed their absurd battle power, settling things in matter of days. The thing they showed her and other royalties there are hard to ignore: the ability to freely teleport (although yes she also saw Tomoe’s katana broke, but seeing the business of the current Kuzunoha, one would be stupid not to connect the dots, as such she did expect Makoto to arrive to Naoi when he went to Lorei a couple of chaps ago) and the ability that destroy the demon side’s Thought Transmission Jammer, in merely minutes after her direct request to Makoto. Also the priest Chiya who saw through Mio’s identity can report to Sairitz any time she wished too, and even if she didn’t, the fact that a company wielding a military might of a nation, that can freely move in and out a fortress is a big enough threat already.

      1. “the fact that a company wielding a military might of a nation, that can freely move in and out a fortress is a big enough threat already.”

At best the Rostsgard incident places them as high or near the hero party. And that’s them as a group and not as individuals. Each county has tens of thousands of soldiers ranging from level 100-400, so no they don’t possess the military might of a country. At best they are a mobile forced able to do considerable damage to county with surprise attack.

If Chiya told her, then it would explain everything.

  30. Wow, the comment section here is really something else, comparing it with other sites

Thx for the amazing translation and good work as always….

  31. Thanks for the chapter reigokai-sensei…
    Long time not see XD…

Any recomended for novel that might be good protagonish with op power n have bad ass personality like arogant or ignorant that my vavorit main character XD

  32. After not reading it for a while (since last chapter :P), I came to a conclusion: Japanese people write stuff in a confusing way.

  33. Guys
I just thought of something about the goddess(not related to the chapter but Ive been thinking of this for a while). I think there is a good chance that the name of the goddess is Mitsumi?

It is unknown where did makotos parents picked up the family name misumi (if it is known, please just ignore this comment). Then, when the three gods visited asora, they didnt told makoto the name of the goddess because it will anger makoto.

    Think about it.

    1. …Whoa. Now that’d be interesting. I’m not sure if there are any goddesses with that name, but it would certainly be fun thematically.

Though I think the implication was that Makoto knows her original name on earth, so it should be something semi-recognizable for a Japanese. Is there any goddess named Mitsumi?

    2. It is known where the name came from, it is in one of the side stories that tell what happened to his parents in this fantasy world and how the goddess send them to earth, right before they were transfered the name was decided they even tell what it means, though I don’t remember well (I would have to read again the chapter) but I think the name was a suggestion from the goddess.

      1. Something that I forgot to write, I think the goddess got the meaning of the names from both parents in the fantasy world and told them a corresponded japanese name that had the same meaning and both parents accepted since was a name from the world they were going to live in and also something that the goddess suggested, both his parents adore the goddess after all so they accepted the name promptly. Well I may be wrong in some details it has a long time since I read the chapter! XD

  34. I love reading this light novel. Thanks so much for translating it. Thanks for your hard work. By the way where can i read the raw version? (♥ω♥ ) ~♪

  35. So I’m pretty sure Reigokai knows about the new WN chapter and I just wanted to ask how long he/she (don’t knows as I just read the chapters) takes to translate a chapter once the author updates the RAW for future reference?

  36. Hiya, I finally managed to catch up with the lastest chapter.
Thanks a lot for translating this, it has been a joy to read 🙂

  37. Well two things I got out of this were that according to Kougetsu, Haruka hasn’t actually met that creep Tomoki so she hasn’t been taken advantage of sexually by him because you know that’s what he’d do if he personally met her. The second thing I got was that apparently the Osakabe are generally born with weak bodies because apparently they want to keep a thick bloodline. Meaning there’s probably a lot of inbreeding in the Osakabe. Probably not like brothers marrying sisters but more like marrying cousins but still.

  38. Thanks for the translation! ☺

“And that power of will is also on the level of a Brave”
so Haruka is something like a hero of the other world
