When Frost lifted his voice, vice-captain Grades glares at him.

There’s parts that I can’t get the outline of from the conversation between the two, but for now, let’s leave that aside and…

Quick note: this one is long, feel free to skip. This is an overview of the story to see whether it is to your taste.
Hey guys, Reigokai here.
As a new project, there are a variety of comments. But in order to avoid people saying things akin to: ‘there’s ham in my ham sandwich!’, I will be giving a brief overview of points that probably affect whether you want to read the story or not. Bear in mind, I have only read 110 chapters. By now, you should have noticed that the chapters are really short and this is in no way a lot. To put it in perspective, 110 chapters here would be like maybe...30 chapters of Tsuki. In 30 chapters, there’s no way I would have seen the potential of Tsuki. So just take this with a grain of salt.
-The first and most important point that is practically a deciding factor for many people. Is it harem or not?
I would say, yes. There’s only 2 love interests from what I have seen until now, but the female cast is big and overwhelms that of the males. So, if you see harem as number of love relationships with MC then I wouldn’t say harem, but if you go by female cast, then yes. (By the way, 100% -no exaggeration- of the web novels I read have more female cast than male. Not because I searched for them, that’s simply how it is.)
-Cliche?
There’s your occasional cliche moments. So this one is a yes. There’s also unique points, but this is for the ones that drop it straight when they see it once or twice.
-Plot. As I said, I will be talking with only 110 chapters on my back.
I would say, it is an enjoyable ride. It is definitely a different type from Tsuki, by a lot. The writing style is similar in the sense that they are in 1st person perspective, but the approach is different.
This felt more Shounen, in comparison to Tsuki that felt Seinen. The story tends to explain all actions, so there’s few points that go without explanation; Tsuki had things like Makoto’s level 1, and the mysterious white entity inside him.
In my opinion, I would say this is a journey. This delves pretty deep into the world and its workings. How it operates.
TL;DR: In my opinion, there’s harem, it does have cliche moments, and the plot is shounen-like with world building as its main theme.
I might be repeating myself here but, when dropping a series, whether it is mine or not, please, KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.
This may be your opinion, but it also affects negatively and is information that’s totally unnecessary.
Translators, artists, writers; those kind of things hit them hard, and I have seen people drop projects because of it. For future’s sake, don’t go publicizing that.
Different from a comment that has negative arguments that can become fruitful and open new windows to discussion and different views in the story, this dropping doesn’t bring anything good for the people that enjoy it and the person that provides it.

World Reformation of Dark God is interesting novel. It's short compare with Tsuki, but in the long-term, the story will become more better and heavier later on.
I can't say much yet since I'm still on chapter 140, but trust me, I wouldn't suggested this novel to Reigokai if I don't think this novel is good and worthy of Reigokai-caliber.
If you feel disappointed with the novel, you can hate me instead Reigokai. :)

A story doesn't need a big harem or less cliches to be good. Even though I wanted Janitor-san, this was proven to be a great choice.
For those of you mad about this choice, I will pummel you.
I'm in favor of beating them up, but i understand where this comes from. There are many japanese novels ( would say about 95%) which first 20 chapters are almost the same and with nothing special or even good about them, mostly authors first or second tries on writing. I mostly give novels 30 chapters (or 15 long chapters/a book sometimes) to see of they interesting and/or funny and not just plain stupid but its Reigokai who himself said that many novels are trash and he would not enjoy such a novel so we will trust him on that and with these words thank you for the hard work.
You see, it's pretty hard for me to judge my stories because I operate on the admittedly redundant standard of deeming stories good if they have "good stories".
If a story interests me, gets me to think, or sends me on satisfying emotional rides, then I like it, no matter what other strings are attached (except possibly NTR. F*ck that sh*t).
Personally, I'm not a fan of harem. Because harems tend to make a story less satisfying in my opinion due to either painfully unresolved romantic subplots, unrealistically unhealthy relationships, or just plain pandering.
But the problem is with the effect, and being a harem is merely a potential cause. If the author can somehow make it work, all the more reason to appreciate a work.
The same goes with clichés. If a cliché is a lazy and uninspired plug-in just because, then of course I don't like it. If it manages to somehow take the story somewhere meaningful and interesting, then it isn't a cliché so much as it is a trope-a storytelling device which can be amazing if used proficiently(not to mention some clichés happen a lot because they're just a realistic portrayal of what would totally happen, like discrimination of demihumans).
And then there's taking clichés and turning them on their heads in parody. I love that stuff. It's not like it's that hard either, since satire is "just add reality" or "just add exaggeration".
The bottom line is, "good stories are good". Truly, a principle we can all live by.
And now ladies and gentlemen! It's time for me to make Reigokai-sama lose his/her(?) (I forgot you gender...) motivation!!! Lets boycott Reigokai-sama's blog and don't read anything~ we will drop every novel that Reigokai-sama translate~ muahahaha how about that?!?!?!

It's tricky for me to rate this so far, because we haven't really seen any of the characters really do anything yet.
That said, Haine is a chill guy(I guess you have to be if you're cool with being ganged up on and sealed for 1,600 years) and seems intelligent enough. He attempted to not aggravate the recruitment captain and immediately noticed the inherent flaws in the church's evaluation systems.
There are no red flags, at least. Not even a shade of orange or yellow, so as far as I can say, promising compared to many other novels out there.
Let just hope no red flag will appear through out the story! I hope this will be as enjoyable as tsuki ga!
Btw I give tsuki ga michibiku a 10/10, I just love how the character develop and their interactions with the world~!
As much as I love Tsuki ga, I'll have to refrain from giving it a perfect 10.
I guess I would give it something like a 9.1-9.5/10, solely because a full 10/10 implies there's nothing more that can be done to improve the story and I feel like we haven't even fully dug into its potential yet.
For me, it's just a numerical representation of your enjoyment reading a novel, of course tsuki ga is not perfect, what I wanna ask is how much you enjoy tsuki ga if you represent it with numbers. So for me tsuki ga is 10/10. So? How about you?

Still about 97/100. Minus points for the painfully vague descriptions at certain points I really wish I could see more details on. The author tells a really really compelling overarching adventure in an interesting world with fantastic characters, but also has a tendency to gloss over "side stuff" like the gorgons making a move on Makoto or Jin's recent injury beyond "this thing happened".

We're still only 10 chap. in, so I'll give the initial 8 point. To me, it's quite a good score because I like how the m.c did not dwell in revenge or penance. Even after being sealed, and now placed in the church's kitchen as 'Grunt', he seems happy.
Well, he just want to see the world. Everything else are sidequest.
(What kind of Dark God is he? He have sunshine bright personality and even loves cooking!)

There are two meanings.
In the internet, calling someone potato is an insult like saying he/she is retarded. That is not the case here.
Most likely, Reigokai refer to 'potato skin peeling'. The 'peel' conotates 'feel', meaning he's sensitive and feel touched by the comments from readers.
The novel might even have more scenes of Haine peeling potato...

Well the story has only begun and there is more to develope. True been told I am a little sad that we are not seeing depth so far, but is varely the beginning, and theres more to explore. So don't worry Regokai we have faith in your tastes and if you recommend this story then a good reason you have for it. Beside we have been spoiled by Tsuki length of chapters.

If Reigo, Riazu, or anyone else who has read ahead could answer my following question that would be great: Do the 2 love interests (A and B) have a one-sided love towards the MC or does the MC return those feelings for both A and B, only for A or only for B, or neither? In other words does the MC, evidently and beyond any doubt have feelings for and is, or will be in a relationship with more than one girl? (based on what you have read so far)
Reason I ask is the way I define a harem is when the MC has open relationships and "feelings" for more than one girl (not when the MC is simply surrounded with girls who he does not love).
Story seems good so far and if it really does have a harem the way I define it then that's not much of an issue, I just enjoy the story more without one.
These are actually my favorite types of stories where the world is a fantasy but there is no summoning from another world involved (minus the harem) so I'll still be following you all the way on this one. Keep up the good work!
He does return the feelings, beyond and without any doubt at all.
