Chapter 139: In front of the variant

“Will it really go well?”

In a small voice, I voiced out my surprise at the situation that was proceeding in a favorable manner.

In foreign problems, I would use power to force the situation into an advantageous direction for me and resolve it.

Even when I decided to do it, I still felt opposition.

Because you know, the war potential we have may not be in a country scale, but it is totally outside the boundaries of what one small-scale company has.

I feel like we would be able to eliminate a mercenary group, and even if we are faced with an army, in the worst case, we could manage to escape.

Tomoe, Mio and, depending on the situation, Shiki as well, are existences that can be called a one-man army.

If we used surprise attacks, I feel like we would be able to overwhelm a certain amount of troops.

Truly the definition of being a match for a thousand.

Gathering all our forces, we wouldn’t even surpass the thousand. This may sound like self-praise, but the races in Asora are quite strong.

Counting them as part of our power, I will move them as a company.

As long as nothing extreme happens, I feel like we won’t fail.

Now that I think about it, training the Forest Onis and having them sell medicine in the villages around the mountains was possible because they have been trained in the military arts and made them follow a pathless course.

I didn’t find that strange at all, and yet, I am facing away from my own power. It is truly a contradicting story.

That’s why even if I have opposition towards it, I get used to it.

This is not Japan.

I feel like this will become my number one excuse inside me.

I turn my eyes towards the spectator seats.

There, the Limia group is looking at the fight on the stage.

With this, just by providing them safety, I will be able to create a debt towards the people that have a high-standing in the countries.

There’s the chance that I will be able to turn the pressure of the people who complained and stood behind the guild, against them.

A smile naturally appears from my mouth.

“Well then, I should get going as well” (Makoto)

I pass through the mist towards the place they are.

Even so, why did Tomoe leave the short katana with me?

Well, it does help as a sub-weapon when using a long sword, and there are times when it can be used as a throwing weapon as well but… even so, thinking about it in terms of etiquette, it would be better to not leave a short sword to someone else.

I look at the katana that for some reason has been made as a weapon with the ability to teleport.

It felt like Root was also conspiring with her, so there must be some reason behind it.

It might be to hide the power of teleportation, but with how it flowed, just by changing the target of the power from Tomoe to the short katana, it won’t hide the reality of it.

Just why did those two change the teleportation power from person to object?

I still don’t understand it yet.

With that fuzziness inside of me, I look at the short katana in my hands.

Could it be, she still doesn’t know the meaning of having two swords as a samurai? <A samurai holds 2 swords, a long and a short one. The short one is for suicide, or what’s originally called, seppuku>

After I calm down a bit, let’s try talking about this.

If they are doing this knowingly, I won’t say much about it.

If the meaning of it is different from my own thinking, that’s fine too.

If she told me that it was just a trifle of hers, I can’t do much about it. I will just let her do as she wishes.

Trying to probe into it could lead into her just telling me that’s just her hobby, so if she herself is having fun with it, that’s for the best.

[Sorry for the wait]

“Don’t worry, that was a splendid teleportation. Our country prides in being the hyuman race’s number one in teleportation technique, but this is my first time seeing this kind of point-to-point spell. I would like to take some time after this to hear about it in detail, but right now I have to overlook that fight. No matter the result” (King)

“…”

Since I was pondering, I arrived a bit late, so I apologized to the Limia King.

I did think that there was no room to worry about it, and as expected, he easily let it go.

It seems the King is already prepared for anything that happens to the Ilumgand variant.

The Hopelace Head trembled at the words of the king and bit his lips though. Considering the situation, I am somehow aware of Ilumgand’s fate already.

It is the variant that even Shiki said would be hard to turn back to normal.

The chance of them returning Ilumgand to normal with their limited hyuman knowledge is incredibly low.

“I can’t feel a will anymore. He is really rampaging like a mamono” (Prince)

Hm.

The prince huh.

I could feel pity from his words.

Royalty and a high noble.

Both of them probably knew each other, so it can’t be helped.

“… Raidou”

The Hopelace Head suddenly talks to me.

In those eyes, he showed clear hostility.

I didn’t do much to his son though.

I was only stopping bullying after all.

When I meet with the people of Limia again, there’s also the choice of talking and clearing the misunderstanding.

Well, it will all depend if he is willing to, so I don’t know if it will be possible.

[What is it?]

“I heard that your store handles a high number of medicines”

Or more like, you investigated it.

[Yes, most of my merchandize is medicine]

“Is there no elixir in there that can turn my son back?”

[Sorry, but this is my first time seeing such a transformation as well, so the chances of my medicine curing him is low. With just a glance, I can tell that it is using the hyuman body as a catalyst and it seems to be quite the complex spell formula. To return him to normal, it would be as hard as returning a dish back to ingredients]

Using Shiki’s words as reference, I give a response.

“!!”

Hopelace didn’t say any words, but his face showed several different emotions creating a complex expression.

Anger, sorrow, regret… Obviously, I couldn’t see any positive emotions in it.

Witnessing his son about to be defeated, as a father, it is a given that he would feel that way though.

“What a splendid way of fighting. They are able to properly fight against Ilumgand, who was easily able to defeat the Purple Coats that are boasted by the Academy as being able to use all elements” (King)

I think using all elements and dividing the elements between all are two completely different things though.

“But it looks like they are having a hard time. As expected, maybe this was too much for students” (Prince)

The King and the Prince are looking at the fight in a relatively calm manner.

“Raidou, the two there giving out instructions, are they related to you?” (King)

The Limia King sharply notices Mio and Shiki.

[Yes. One of them is helping me out in my classes, his name is Shiki. The other one serves mostly as my bodyguard, Mio. Both of them are employees that have been with me since long ago and I rely on them]

“It seems they are not fighting though?” (King)

[I wanted the students to fight themselves. If the situation turns bad, I told them to back the students up, but in basis, I am having them give instructions in the fight. Also-]

“My son is not a stepping stone for your students!!”

The sudden shout at my side made me stop my words.

I thought he would come saying that, so I was about to give an explanation. How hasty.

[Also, since they were students learning in the same academy, I had a small hope that maybe they would be able to return Ilumgand-sama back to his sense. It seems for some reason that person hates me, so I thought that if our company people stood on the stage, the hope would grow dimmer]

“Kugh!!”

Hopelace, who was lining up the next complain, shuts up after my excuse.

These were words I originally thought of if I was asked by people like the Limia King or the Academy Principal, but I suppose it is okay to have him hear as well.

“Hoh~, you were that thoughtful towards a noble of our country. That consideration makes me happy. Right, Hopelace?” (King)

At the latter half, the harsh eyes of the King turn towards Hopelace.

I can feel that his aim is to have Hopelace apologize.

No well, there’s no real need to.

[It is just a plan where I am leaving it to the hands of my students. There’s no need to thank me for it]

While getting the better of the trembling Hopelace, I turn to the king and lower my head.

Also, from what I see, Jin and the others have no leeway to worry about anything.

“At any rate, it is going back and forth. I can’t see who would win” (Prince)

The prince speaks.

“Joshua, you can’t tell either huh” (King)

“Yeah, but I don’t understand something. Why are they only using fire element? Also, for all of them to be able to use the fire element is strange” (Prince)

Looks like they don’t have much knowledge regarding that area.

The specialty of the royalty and the nobles is, as expected, politics after all huh.

“Fumu. Raidou, can you explain this? If you are able to, please” (King)

But is it okay for me to be answering this?

There are two knights there after all.

Shouldn’t he ask them their opinion first?

Leaving aside the part about the fire element, the knights should have their own opinions about Ilumgand.

“Raidou, I don’t mind. Please explain” (King)

Thinking that, I turned my eyes towards the knights. Maybe the King understood what I was thinking, he ordered again.

[As you can see, Ilumgand-sama has transformed into that giant body. And well, mainly because the battle has gone for a long period of time, I can tell that the variant’s characteristic is mostly in the magic factor]

“Magic huh” (King)

[Yes. The current Ilumgand-sama possesses a firm resistance towards earth, water and wind; all elements except fire]

Detailed explanations of absorption, resistance, and nullification; in this case, let’s just not do it.

“To three elements you say” (King)

[Luckily, the students there are all trained to use several elements, so they are able to fight him with the only element that is effective against him. I think non-elemental magic will also work, but the efficacy gained compared to the consumption of magic power is bad, so I think their decision was proper]

“Everyone… is able to use several elements? Then you are having them learn elements other than the one they were born with?” (Prince)

When the prince talks in a courteous manner, instead of a prince, he sounds more like a butler.

I am a part of the lower class, so I think he should be acting like the other high-class people.

[Yes, that’s why they are able to provide a decent fight]

“Then why can’t they push him back?” (Prince)

[I think the main reason would be that the element restriction is limiting their options. The fire element originally possesses few restraining skills, and it is more suited for attack and self-enhancement. On top of that, Ilumgand-sama is absorbing the magic power of his teammates and the hyumans around. Because his maximum magic power is increasing, the debuffing magic is not working at all. Moreover, his wounds are regenerating to a certain degree, so if they don’t finish it with a big attack, there’s the danger of prolonging the fight]

While I was doing the explanation, the Hopelace Head suddenly makes a bitter voice.

I look at the stage.

I didn’t see it, but it seems they have dealt a big attack.

His arms are torn off from the shoulder down, and the giant is on his knees.

Arms?

Are they still fighting in order to incapacitate him instead of defeating him?

Looks like Mio decided that she gave enough advice, she is just looking at the fight without participating.

Shiki seems to be preparing for healing just in case and watching the progress of the battle.

Looks like the seven are quite fatigued. To the point that I am able to see it even from where I am.

From what I can tell, they are in a level where it is already hard for them to aim for incapacitation.

[Looks like the battle has progressed slightly. Though, it seems like their voice doesn’t reach him, and they don’t have the resolve to bring him down]

In terms of stamina, Ilumgand is the one in advantage.

Also…

While I was thinking about something that was bothering me, the thing I was anxious about happened.

The regeneration of Ilumgand’s arms.

Aaah~

This will probably break their spirit.

“What, the arms he lost are!”

“Regenerating…”

“Ilum…”

Hm?

Before Jin and the others got shaken by the situation, one of the people there took the initiative and rushed with sword in hand.

Misura.

Is he eager because he didn’t have much spotlight in the team battles?

But to enter in this timing and bring up the spirit is a good idea.

In a situation where their stamina is being chipped away, it would be bad for them to lose their willpower.

He must be tired as well, but it seems he is able to properly deflect the pitiful great sword that has been absorbed into Ilumgand’s right arm.

The battle has begun once again, to the point where they have to give him another big attack.

Thanks to Misura’s initiative, they have somehow managed to step it up.

(Waka-sama)

Shiki?

What is it? Is there a problem?

Thankfully, right now everyone of Limia is looking at the stage.

I have some room to talk with Shiki in thought transmission.

(What? A problem?) (Makoto)

(Yes. About two) (Shiki)

(Let’s hear it) (Makoto)

(First, about this variant. It seems that it will be impossible for the students to incapacitate it with pain. Moreover, the fact that he was a former student is making them unable to show their original battle power, so…) (Shiki)

(They probably won’t be able to beat it?) (Makoto)

(… Yes. If it’s just defeating him, they have already marked the medulla oblongata that seems to be his weak point, but it might be difficult) (Shiki)

(I see. When it seems like it is totally impossible, Shiki, shift with them and incapacitate him. And the other one?) (Makoto)

(It seems another one of those has entered here. There’s the danger that it might head to the spectator seats, so be cautious) (Shiki)

(Oh, I see. Thanks, I will be careful) (Makoto)

It seems nothing special happened in the middle of our transmission, and I was able to safely finish the thought transmission with Shiki.

Hmph~, one more is coming here huh.

Even if their mechanism is the same, their powers might be different.

I have to be in a distance where I can protect this people at any moment.

I am not sure if we will be able to cure Ilumgand, so I don’t know if there’s a point in incapacitating him though.

I just thought that it would be easier to talk with the Hopelace Head if his son is not dead.

?!!

Suddenly, the tension around us increased.

For a second I thought that the battle situation changed again, but when I looked, there was no real change.

The Limia King and the Hopelace Head are in the place closest to the stage, the railings of the spectator seats.

And a step behind them, there’s Prince Joshua.

But that composition moved.

“King, please step back!”

One of the knights shouts and the two knights unsheathe their weapons and run to the back.

They were probably using perception magic to watch their surroundings.

At the place where they were running to there was nothing visible, but in a place quite a bit far from here, at the exit corridor of the spectator seats, the shadow of a gray colored variant appears.

Uwa~, its appearance is quite different.

Its change is so big that it doesn’t even look humanoid anymore.

A person that has developed in an abnormal way.

It has two legs, and more than half of its top is not composed of torso, arms, and then head.

It is only the head.

And its mouth is sticking out like the beak of a bird, and yet, it has fangs.

It still has quite the distance, but despite this, its mouth is so big that I can tell that there’s fangs in it.

On top of that, compared to a person, its eyes were more like those of a horse, big black eyes positioned on the sides of the face.

Saying it bluntly, it is disgusting.

In place of hair, its head has several tentacles undulating on it. It doubled its disgusting level.

The knights ran to fight against the monster probably to avoid fighting close to the king.

I see. I can agree with that.

In that case, I will step a bit forward and…

“GYAAAAA!!”

Hah?

There should still be quite a good amount of space between them, and despite this, what’s going on?

The knight’s scream made me doubt my eyes.

It seems that thing already reached them.

Those stupidly big legs are not for decoration.

It must have made a dash with tremendous instantaneous power.

Looking at the ashen colored variant that cut the knight’s body along with the armor to a thousand pieces and created a red spray and screams, for some reason, I associated it with a bullet.

Another scream overlaps.

I don’t know if it’s because it caught him off-guard, or because his skills are not that big of a deal – I will leave it as if it’s the former – but anyways, it didn’t take long before the other knight screamed as well.

The undulating tentacles turned sharp and pierced through the body of the knight.

The torso area, where the armor was the thickest, wasn’t pierced by the tentacles, but every other part was.

Neck, thighs, joints; areas where the armor doesn’t protect, and places where it can’t be protected because of its construction were pierced through.

It is probably fatal.

The place they were fighting was in an area I couldn’t reach in time, so I was unable to protect them.

I could use [Sakai] to heal them, but if I do so, that variant would also enter in its range.

Also, if I loosen my magic power suppression, what I am hiding might be discovered.

Tch.

But I definitely can protect these three.

It may not be the best option, but I have to deal with it.

Taking a crouching start stance with only its legs, it places strength in them. The variant turns its beak-shaped mouth towards me.

Ah, this is not a dash.

I was somehow able to tell that.

It seems my comparison was correct.

That thing shoots its body like a bullet and heads to our location in a straight line.

Okay, let’s stop it and defeat it.

When I was about to stop it and made a step forward, for some reason, a shadow passes beside me.

?!!

Prince Joshua?!

“Father, please run!” (Prince)

Unsheathing a glittering thin sword that I would only think of as a decoration, the prince rushes to the variant in order to protect the king!

Ah!

Is he an idiot?!

This is bad.

Having the prince wounded would be extremely bad.

Right.

Even if I am not tense, that doesn’t mean the surroundings aren’t either.

Even so, this prince-sama is quite…

If I weren’t here, who knows what would have happened.

(Sorry Shiki. Wounded people or maybe casualties have appeared. I want you to come here and provide medical treatment. Mio can stay there, I leave the babysitting to you, Mio. I count on you, don’t let the students die) (Makoto)

Those two knights… it is probably too late.

But if it’s Shiki, maybe he will be able to heal them.

Since I didn’t have the leeway, I just leave those orders to Shiki and Mio without making an actual conversation.

From here, I can’t tell if the knights are breathing or not, even so, from what I see, those are definitely fatal wounds.

It doesn’t seem like there are other enemies, so if I just hold this one down it will be okay.

I hurriedly chase after the prince.

The variant is fast as expected.

At this rate… I won’t make it.

My body can’t just suddenly go from zero to max speed.

In an instant I understood that I wouldn’t be able to make it, so I make an ‘invisible arm’ with magic power in the space between the prince and the variant, to protect him.

I have [Sakai] to conceal it, so it should be invisible.

If he gets wounded he can still be healed, but if possible, I want him to leave unscathed.

My magic power catches the variant when it was reaching its highest speed.

Just like that, I swing the ‘arm’ and throw the variant to separate it from the prince.

While relieved by the fact that I made it in time, I carry Prince Joshua and escape from that place. I jump into an area where that thing’s vision won’t reach the prince.

Damn it. I have separated slightly from the king.

I threw it away, so it won’t come with another attack so soon but, I have to defeat it quickly.

[Prince, it was a sudden development, so please forgive me for my rudeness. I will deal with that thing]

Writing all of that at once, I began to wonder what the mysterious sensation in my hand was.

Eh?

“?!!”

When I look down, I see the stiffened face of Prince Joshua.

Maybe because of the shock of a while ago, or because it got stuck somewhere along the way; a part of his clothes were quite torn off and…

My hand is on top of that…

No way, this is, breast?

Eh?

My brain is in turmoil.

“… I will explain the circumstances later. Right now, please protect father” (Prince?)

Dyed in bashfulness, he, no, her? I heard her low voice.

I hurriedly separate my hand from her body.

Unable to hide all of my confusion, I correct my posture as if springing away.

Right.

I feel like I have done something quite bad, but right now the priority is taking out that thing.

Great, looks like that thing is still dizzy.

I restrain it with [Brid] and shorten the distance.

What I used was a non-elemental [Brid].

Chantless and no element. I did plan on winning with that, but it didn’t turn into a fatal wound.

However, it was plenty enough to hold it back.

Thanks to that, I was able to shorten the distance plenty enough. I clad magic power into my right hand and punch the side of its face.

The variant, that was send flying away with my punch, hit several seats and rails on the way and was bounded by it.

Great.

With this, the Limia king should be in a safe position.

Non-elemental spells have a tendency of having less firepower compared to the elemental spells of the same level, but from what I saw just now, a [Brid] is plenty enough to defeat it.

I do a quick aria, and making a gesture as if preparing a bow, I shoot out a white arrow.

The [Brid] that hit right on its beak didn’t pierce immediately and sends the whole variant to the back, weaving its way in a part of the spectators’ seat.

That’s because I reduced the piercing power on purpose.

I don’t know what it might do, so I thought it would be better to have distance.

But it seems my worries were unnecessary.

The variant swelled as if bubbles were popping up from inside it, and after, it scattered in all directions and died.

Ah, I was worried for a second there.

I see that Shiki has begun the treatment of one of the knights and I sigh once.

Looks like at least one of them will be saved.

I finished one job now.

… About the prince, I hope it doesn’t turn into a new trouble. But well, don’t think that will be possible.

If it was just the fight it would be so simple…

I try not to make eye contact with the prince and bring her to where the king is.

While I was thinking all this, I heard a scream incomparable to the ones before.

    1. Your avatar amuses me. +1 for you.

      Thanks for the chapter!

    1. Real comment time:

See guys, I told you the shit shower was far from over. And now Makoto has to deal with a reverse trap. Oh how I love this story.

Also, thank you to everyone who checked out that little short story I wrote about the Spoiler-san persona. However, there was a person who tried to use my WordPress to ask me for spoilers. Please don’t comment on anything I write just to ask for spoilers? Also, new LGDK update coming up within the hour.

      1. Ummm, are you talking about me? Sorry, just asking if you intended to spoil there, since it’s your space LOL I was not really hoping for anything. About the story… it was quite creative XD

  2. I totally did not see the princess pretending to be a prince trope coming into play here. So another flag with a female has been triggered by Makoto lol.

      1. right, I just realize it, the crown prince was in the hero party,
This one despite being older is not the crown because he can not become a king, he is a she

    1. I don’t know. I enjoyed being surprised instead of seeing it coming from a mile away and finding things cliched.

I don’t even mind any future relations because Makoto isn’t a harem protagonist.

      1. …what do you mean he isn’t? Tomoe and Mio are both clearly jockeying for wife positions, as are the Rembrandt daughters, and even back in his original world he was confessed to by not one but two beauties he had to leave behind.

He’s the cliche of the super-dense type of harem protagonist. Just because he can’t see his own situation doesn’t mean it isn’t sprouting up around him.

      2. i wanted to reply O-(-‘.’Q) but for some reason i cant so i am going to write it here….
I think the problem isnt that he is dense he noticed it that they are in love with him but like he said to the 2 in his world…. he does not want a relationship with them if he does not love them… and Tomoe and Mio are kinda in the “little sister zone” and the Rembrandt sister are in the “students zone” and “daughters of a friend zone”…..
The best chances to win him over have the Limia hero (one of the 2 from his original world) and the other one that stayed in his world but i have the feel that it isnt the end for her…..

      3. @O-(-‘.’Q)
You make good points when you put it like that. I think I don’t consider him a harem protagonist because he isn’t exactly dense so much as intentionally kept unawares though. I’m pretty sure he knows at least Mio wants him, but as branislavs said, he sister-zoned her and Tomoe.
Other than his followers and potentially Eva and her sister though, none of the girls really have a chance with him either due to him living a different world(for two of them, literally).

Because of all this, rather than an actual harem story MC like Trashmoki is, I consider Makoto to just be “a popular guy”.

      4. The dude’s a (battle) harem protag, we just don’t see much flirting happening on camera. I mean, let’s look at the people around our boy:

The intro girls, Hasegawa & Higashi – Confessed to and rejected by Makoto. He never saw the confession coming, and the first side story tells us Higashi still loves him.
The good guy god, Tsukuyomi – Dumped so much of his power into Makoto, he has to sleep for 100 years.

Core members, Tomoe & Mio – Confessed to and rejected by Makoto. Everything they do is in service of their master.
Core member, Shiki – Would be murdered by Mio if he ever confessed, and Makoto wouldn’t see it coming. Everything he does is in service of his master.

Head Priestess of the newly formed Makoto religion, Ema – Dedicated her life to Makoto, but doesn’t consider a romantic relationship possible.

Disgraced wasteland sisters, Rinon & Toa – Rinon sees Makoto as a pseudo big brother. Toa is indebted to him. Really likes adventuring with Tomoe and Mio.

The Rembrandt family – The sisters fought against him, and by battle harem rules they are both candidates. The mother is “strangely supportive.” The father is a good friend, and feels indebted to Makoto.

Probably a half dragon, Sofia – Has fought against Makoto and survived. Her exit scene showed her longing for her new harem master.
Doesn’t have a title here, Lancer – Last seen terrified and floating in a lake that formed around him. Might have pissed his pants; the lake would have hid it.
The solders surviving from that battle – Left their old lives behind to form a new town around the battlefield. Pity them, for they do not know the face of their master, Makoto.

Technically there, Komoe – She likes bananas? Doesn’t get screen time. Rumor said Tomoe used a red ring as the core, so possibly the magic baby of Makoto and Tomoe.

Disgraced noble sisters, Ruria & Eva – Eva wants something from Makoto, and is willing to try seduction to get it. Makoto believes Ruria treats him as a frequent customer, but we see hints of her going beyond that.

Student with a purpose, Amelia – Loves Shiki. Yay diversity!
The remaining students, Jin, Izumo, Daena & Misura – Jin deeply respects Makoto. The others probably do as well.

Superior pervert dragon, Root – Has defined Makoto’s “No,” as “No, but ask again in five minutes.”

The residents of Asora – Feelings seem to range from respect to deification of Makoto.
Because I’ll get called out if I don’t call them out, Gorgons – An entire race of girls that’s hinted to want Makoto’s children.

The world leaders – Relationship so far has been professional to manipulative; pretty much what we’d expect.
At least she ain’t the Godess, Princess Lily – Scared away by Tomoe for now. Thank you, Tomoe!
Prince of questionable gender, Joshua – Makoto knows Joshua’s secret. (The secret is which pronoun to use.)

This grew to an unreasonable size way too quickly. Congrats for making it this far. Anyone know if / which HTML tags work in comments?

  3. Things are going OK, but every time Makoto presumes that the king will be fine, I can only see another death flag rising… 😐

Also. Since it’s a light novel, I can’t be too surprised. But huh, “Prince” Joshua, is it…? 😀

  4. A group of magicians get rekt’ed while a team of lv90+ students having a hard time with one variant due to it being a former student.

Meanwhile, the lv.1 merchant suppresses another variant with a non-elemental brid(which is weaker than elemental ones), punches it in the face, then fires a purposely weakened brid arrow at it. Said variant pops like a pimple.

Yeah, common sense in this world getting rekt’ed as well.

Well, if the issue with the kingdom goes sour, there’s always that blackmail material.

    If you know what I mean. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    1. Even if Makoto is going to be more aggressive now, I don’t think he’d be willing to do that just yet. Blackmail is a special kind of coercion and he’s from Japan.

      1. True, that bit will be way far down the list of options he has right now, since he’s still confused by the soft sensation in his hand. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    2. Why do I see a scene from “The Princess Bride”?
‘Who are you?” –Inigo Montoya (King of Limia)
‘No one of consequence…” — The Man In Black (Raidou)

  5. WOW! a reverse trap… didn’t see that coming. I assumed the (prince?) was gunna be a minor character. The fact that he/she is a reverse trap probably just upped her to the level of an important support character. Its only in novels I could not see these things coming, in an anime or a manga its usually easy to figure who is a trap and such. but wow… well played.

Hmmm, is this the first time Makoto has gotten to second base?

    1. I have always been curious about this: what’s the point of these comments? Just the name of the chapter… who are you, even? XD

  6. Common sense getting rekt [/]
    Possible harem member get [/]
Showing badassery in front of everyone with a nonchalant attitude [/] [/]
    Go full power [ ] bruh……….

      1. Lol I just remember the last force! battle Makoto did when that BUG GODDESS summon him to the battle field he made a very huge lake where all mamonos avoiding it due to its some kind of mana forcing them to not approach the lake hahahahaha!

    1. I like that checklist arrangement though. Full power is a special thing that should be saved for truly important or satisfying moments.

Like against the Bug. Trash…moki? Was that his name? I don’t remember anymore. Anyway, him too-though he’ll probably be trashed without effort for humiliation points instead.

    2. If you think this is common sense getting rekt, then you’ve still have a way to go my friend. You definitely have to meet Satou-sama if you haven’t already!

      1. That reminds me, this might be one of the only “other world” light novels I’ve read that doesn’t involve depicting slavery in a positive light. Good job, goddess world!

“But O-(-‘.’-Q), Tomoe and Mio’s ruling contracts are basically slavery.”

        ….dammit.

      2. Well, it’s more of a liege-vassal contract than anything. Yes, he can compel them, but it seems a lot more like the Warder bond (which is watered-down Compulsion and then some) from WoT than outright slavery.

    1. LOOOOOL Sorry, sorry… I had just come back from reading a chapter from KnW when I saw this one. Since I am the type who checks pages over and over and over again, that made really glad! LOL

  7. “… I will explain the circumstances later. Right now, please protect father” (Prince?)

Dyed in bashfulness, he, no, her? I heard her low voice.
    .
    .
    Ooohh!!!
    ( ° ͜ʖ °)
Crossdress Princess… Hit the spot of my fetish.
    ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  8. Well there’s our problem. It looks like Makoto doesn’t consider Asora’s war potential to be on a national level, let alone global. I can’t even blame him, since Shiki assumes he knows, Mio doesn’t care, and Tomoe seems to be intentionally hiding these matters from him.
Also, “Depending on the situaton”? Poor Shiki. Shiki should at least be a one-man army. Depending on the situation is for Lime and the others.

In other news, Misura being the MVP! Keeping the team spirit up and battle momentum safe! Oh, and Makoto groped royalty I guess.

      1. Hmm. What’s the official definition of WMD? Like, is it something with the potential to cause a certain death toll? Or destroy a certain level of…things? Because I almost feel like Makoto should be in a classification above that, unless WMD is a “Threshold and up” kind of deal that covers everything from humble nukes to death stars.

    1. Weapon of Mass Destruction. Basically any weapon that can kill lots and lots of people. Since conventional bombs doesn’t count, I think the minimum number of possible casualties should be in the thousands. Going up, planet killers and star killers would count as WMD.

  9. Wonder if the limia King will try to force Raidou into marrying his daughter since he now knows her secret and touched her body and breasts. If he does Limia might be destroyed by Tomoe and Mio

    1. I feel like Makoto would prevent total destruction, but the King would also avoid being too pushy.

Though there would be intentional flag setting everywhere in an effort to draw him in for sure.

  10. Thanks for the chapter! Here’s hoping the situation progresses even further…
For an arc with a lot of crises, I feel the author uses Makoto’s indecisive thoughts a little too much as the main narrative voice. Because it’s a webnovel, these thoughts occur almost perfectly in real-time, so Makoto (and therefore the reader) get taken by surprise and confused by the events unfolding; too much space is taken up by interior monologue. It takes away from his agency as the MC without producing a meaningful secondary character’s perspective.
And those few chapters of straight stream of wishy-washy consciousness had a certain circular path that wasn’t really necessary. WAIT, could it be … no way … WN FILLER?! Did the author hit a rut at this point and try to pass it off as some sort of meticulous self-reflection?
Nah it’s not like authors IRL do this, right? Right?!

    1. filler= not in the original artwork

can something not being part of the original artowork when it is in the original artwork?
      you got me confused

      1. Is that the official definition of filler? I assumed it meant meaningless extra content to pad out length while the author works out the plot some more.

I don’t really mind all of this reflection stuff at all and I feel like they’re all significant enough to talk about.

      2. @Psychronia
now that you said it, I don’t know if it’s same meaning in english.
in my native language, a filler is a non-canon part added to an adaptation to fill “screen time”, and so is not revelant of the original artwork.
can a native english confirm it, please?

      3. The definition of “filler” can vary some from person to person and subject. Filler in a story might be considered extra stuff that is not needed, much of what is in this chapter was more going to show Makotos change in attitude. Filler in an anime or manga would be material that was not in the original that was added to pad out the story and take up time.

Examples of filler for anime and manga:
The original DBZ has massive amounts of filler added into it, full seasons of episodes worth at times, most all of it was unimportant and had no impact on the actual story. In the original manga there were, maybe, 2 chapters that mentioned Gohan being trained by Piccolo but in the anime they added a bunch of side stories and adventures of him wandering all over before deciding that, yea, he should train like he was told to.

The current One Punch manga chapters are all filler, the original work by ONE did not have anything like a pointless martial arts tournament in it where he tried to understand the point of using martial arts. Whats the point of learning a martial art when everything dies to a halfhearted punch? I’m looking forward to when it ends.

On the LN side, when The New Gate was made into a LN from a WN they added a bunch of filler to the end of Volume 4. In the WN, when Shin and the princess made their way to the first gate of the city/dungeon they were transported to they exited the gate and procceeded to the town they were planning to go to. In the LN that gate was blocked and they spent many, many pages fighting a monster that automatically recovered from any damage they did to it. Shin hit it a couple of times at close to full power with his better equipment, vaporising it, and it still recovered to annoy them again.

I still haven’t caught up with New Gate, the fight with the ice griffion was such a heavy handed chunk of filler that I have not managed to suffer through it fully.

  11. thanks for the chapter (σ≧▽≦)σ. and goddamit! that dammed cliff. well i wonder if the “princess” of limia will be inportant in the future.

    1. Can’t be Hibiki, the King and Prince(?) were discussing the changing that Hibiki is trying to enact and their impressions of them.

  12. Huh, honestly didn’t expect that. But man, I can’t describe how good it feels to see Makoto handling this situation so well. He’s not completely showing his hand, but he’s showing enough to impress and save lives. He’s taking initiative, but he’s not offending the people around him. He’s explaining strategy and making people depend on him. THE AGE OF COMPETENCY IS AT HAND!

  13. Thanks for the chapter!

I hope the King is still alive, Makoto keeps raising flags for his death XD

It would make sense for him to die too, since the intrigue of the “prince” becoming King and knowing Raidou’s power and owing him for keeping “his” secret would go a long way to help Kuzunoha.

But my guess is that Hopelance kid either got wrecked by Mio or his dad got turned into a variant himself.

  14. Thanks for the chapter~!

Reverse trap indeed, didn’t see that one coming. Doubt it will become anything though, author seems set on making sure Makoto’s partners are nigh-undefeatable monster girls. Might be the “watching you from afar” type though…

    Ahhh, Cliff-san, my old nemesis…

  15. TLC for U <3:
    二本差しの意味をまだよく知らないのか
The nihonzashi here is talking about the short katana, so it's probably something like: "It might be that I still don't know the meaning of the short katana"? Although looking at the context it makes sense but at the same time, it's confusing as it feels redundant. 😛

    1. But now that I think about it the nihonzashi might be talking about BOTH of Tomoe’s swords and that she might have some sort of hidden meaning behind it, so I think something like “I might still not know the meaning behind the two katanas.” Would be more appropriate.
PS: nihonzashi is also slang for DP in japan.

  16. Thanks for the chapter!
I have just a few observations to make fist of why is the main character still level one? By the authors own definition the more fights and creatures you defeat the stronger you get. Makoto had plenty of combats that he won and killed an entire army. Is the author pulling a Naruto to make you feel sorry for him cause this feels forced. The fact that no one has noticed how strong he is and that he has not met any of the other heroes also seems forced. This is just like another web novel with a slime and a dragon that I’m reading. Hope it doesn’t get bogged down on plot convenience where there’s no villan and its love that’s saves the day.

    1. Err…what? Where does “make you feel sorry for him” come from? He’s very clearly stronger than anyone else by a magnitude.

Him being level one is just an inherent mystery. One theory could be that Makoto is so strong that the scale doesn’t detect it. Another is that the Bug goddess is suppressing his power and that’s shown in his level.
Plenty of people have noticed that he’s strong and it’s not so strange he hasn’t met the other heroes when he started in the very outskirts of the world, as far from the heroes as possible.

    2. I guess the thing that was used to measure levels are measuring something that exist in all beings in that planet.
But Makoto comes from a different planet, so he does not have that ‘something’ to be measured, so it stays as 0.

Or, maybe that thing measures the strength of magic in a person. But Makoto’s strength does not stem from magic, but divine power given from tsukuyomi. Makoto uses magic by converting that divine power into magic when needed.

These are my guesses when I start reading this novel. But I’m sure we will get an answer someday

        1. I guess I missed/forgotten about it. Sometime I skip a bit when I read lol, especially when I’m eating while reading.

May I ask the explanation? a simple one will do. Or if you’re too lazy, the chapter in which it was explained.

          1. Every time arrow fired from bow while in training form(not while fighting) disperses his soul for a few seconds and doubles his manas. The soul disperses causes his kill count to become zero especially because Tomoe and Mio thought he was dead. I think. Not stated but can be guessed by combining that the level system was dragon made and would probably be expected to terminate at death. Chapter 46

          2. I just re-read the chapter.

Yeah it was never stated. They never associated the phenomena with why his level was shown as LV1 using that level measuring paper.

The “die-and-reborn is why he is still LV1” was a conjecture from the comment section.

How the paper (invented by dragons) measures unit of power is yet unknown. The true explanation of why his level is still 1 is yet to be explained.

Sorry, my way of thinking is too science-y. Not a good thing when you’re reading a fantasy novel.

But I do have to say that’s a good theory. I have a few other theories but lets just wait for the full explanations later on if there is one.

      1. Isn’t his level shown as one at first because of that ritual/ceremony/practice/whatever he did before he shoots an arrow, and it’s kinda like killing himself so his level resets, but the base stats stavk over each other making him OP as hell? BTW my theory is because his base stats are so high he’s needs to have higher experience requirements.

    3. “pulling a Naruto to make you feel sorry for him cause this feels forced”
I think it’s not for feeling sorry for him, but to hide his true limits to the readers and reveal it later.

  17. i wonder if Raidou is going to learn a lesson about how holding back can lead to someone getting killed.

  18. Thanks 4 the chapter!

Mio is going to go ballistic when she hears of him touching a girl’s breast.

    1. i wonder whats next?? the scream came from the king?! turns out the king is a queen!!! lolololol!!!

      fucking double traps lolz XD!!

hello cliff-san!! make my day with this plot twist!!! lol

  19. Heh, turns out the prince is a trap.

Man, there’s no clue whatsoever that its going to be a trap. The author missed a big chance to sow some clue here and there so that we, the readers, can get excited with speculations before revealing the truth.

But I’m glad we got to see Makoto is action this chapter. Though he is holding back a lot so he won’t accidentally blow up the whole city.

    1. “Even if he is the second prince, he is a bit older than the first prince Bredda. It can be said that this is proof that there are complicated circumstances regarding political power inside Limia” – Chapter 116

      1. Holy crap, that is the smallest and broadest clue ever.

Hats off to you Reigokai for noticing that. *Respect Intensifies*

  20. hmm… i wouldn’t call someone who can make a “Big Lake” just above average mercenary or troops….

  21. I really like the magic spell “Brid”, it’s like a swiss knife of spells… XD

    Thanks for the chapter…

    1. Really? Because to me it seems more like the Kamehameha wave of magic.

Lots of more useful moves, but the staple just because it was the first one learned…

      1. … Kamehameha is a finisher, not a move used all the time. They fire a lot of energy beams in DB but that one was supposed to be a more focused attack with higher power.

  22. I was not expecting that with the prince. At least she seems to have a good head in a way. That she was able to push it off to another time without going with the generic kyaa.

  23. I assume she’s been raised to be on the masculine side. Adding in the politics, and that reaction makes sense too.
I have to say I respect the author’s storytelling, even if it’s a bit roundabout and confusing sometimes.

  24. Thanks for the chapter!!!!!!

I almost forgot what brid is but i remembered right away
i didn’t expect the prince to be a woman
there was no sign unlike the other novels or was there?
will she be a romantic interest? don’t spoil me!!
welp i’m not expecting because of the story so far

finally Raido himself is joining the fray
    even tho he held back
atleast he had shown that his combat prowess would not be behind from his followers
because i really don’t like him being looked down upon
tho only the limia faction was able to saw it
    it was satisfying
looking forward to what happen next chapter

  25. So…. Prince Joshua is actually a Princess Josephine? If that name is right, I’d better get a cookie for it….

  26. Good to see Makoto keeping abreast of the situation.

Anyways… ‘Prince’. Anything you want to get off your chest?

Don’t worry, I’m sure Makoto can handle it. Y’know, come to grips with the situation.

    1. This is the first time I regret not being able to give a post a like.

This is certainly a booby trap one could simply not predict.

    2. Geez. A lucky pervert situation with a prince during a disaster? Makoto’s been racking up lady troubles since the start, hasn’t he?

If this happened while the tournament was still going, he might’ve been thrown out by bouncers though.

Hopefully he’ll be able to milk the incident for profit in the future.

I have to say, I’m also surprised Makoto was off-guard enough to let the knights get killed(?) and the prince get the jump on him. I guess using his ridiculous power immediately might turn Academy town into a cleavage in the ground.

  27. i wished that theres a new illustrations of new char like “he’s students, the limia’s, rambrandts wife, and that saritz. Oh and a bonus of what roots looks like when he turned into a she (root is the perfect meaning of a “trap”), since theres a trap chapter lol

  28. “Because you know, the war potential we have may not be in a country scale, but it is totally outside the boundaries of what one small-scale company has”

    Is this kid freaking serious?!?
How much does he actually underestimate his own group?

“Tomoe, Mio and, depending on the situation, Shiki as well, are existences that can be called a one-man army”

No wait, how much does he even underestimate himself?
Makoto is really, really, REALLY dumb.

    1. Know that he hasn’t seen their armies. Also that he probably compares their armies to the armies of the USA and Russia, but they are probably more like Cuba to the USA, mostly insignificant.

      1. I dont think makoto is that weak i think makoto alone is a walking nuke well you know his first real battle he created a big lake even when not really serious also he’s much strongger now

    2. I think he don’t take in consideration individual strenght to compare it to others country.
even if his followers and him are 4 “one man army”, if you took out that, his army, even with very stong individual power, barelly reach few hundreds and can be stomped by numbers.
I think it’s better for him to be cautious about his military power, rather than thinking he is invincible, become overconfident and see asora being crushed without him understanding what happened.

      1. and I want to end the argument “lol makoto is so dumb to not think of himself as an invincible god, so stupid”
        NO!
-it’s dump to think of himself as unique and peerless overpowered without basis. if he managed to become like that, it’s not impossible that other manage it too.
-it’s dump to think that his 4 great power (himself, tomoe, mio and shiki) are all unmatched power. considering after only 1min on a battlefield he meet 2 great power (lancer and sophia), and meet another one in academy city (root). there is no saying how many of them are hidding around the world.
-it’s dump to think asura can’t be infiltred without him knowing it. why this power would be flawless?
-it’s dump to think his 300 elite spartan can rivalise against hundreds of thousands soldiers from the others countries’armies.

and makoto is still under the assumption (tomoe’s fault for not clearing the misunderstanding) that there is someone far stronger than him (the devil) that just destroy and kill everything one sidely.

it’s time to stop bashing makoto by telling how stupid he is to be cautious and evaluating the strenght of his army, and that it would be far smarter to just think of himself as invincible and no one in the world can even think of opposing him. it’s just full of arogance, overconfidence, senselessness, overestimation, it’s immature and dumb (list not complet). he will loose asora like that.

    3. Yes. The kid is serious. He lost his ability to be the straight-man ever since he registered as a Merchant. Poor Tomoe.

  29. everyday is moving so slooooow~… am not really complaining, just too much anticipation… but finally, time to show off to some royalty… ikke Makoto-kun!!!

    thanks for the updates…

  30. “My hand is on top of that…No way, this is, breast?”
Ok, I admit. this time, it took me off-garde.

      1. After the situation is resolved and everyone goes home, we’ll get a scene of Makoto lying there in bed, with the hand raised above his face, looking intently at it. Sometimes clenching the hand, or letting out a sigh. 😀

  31. i would say, fans of this series is much (i surprise).
but it’s just me or development in this series is lack explanation, sometime i must like “hmm.. i think makoto will do this, maybe do that, wait, dammit.” but i tsuki michibiku is great wn.

    thx for chapter ☺

  32. He punched it? Heh. I guess he’s not sticking with the long range thing.

That scream… I thought it might be Mio attacking the monster but they just said that they can’t incapacitate it with pain. That suggests that it doesn’t feel pain.

    1. He defeated it… with One Punch, Man!

Well, we were told he had been training hard. Maybe he was doing 100 pushups, 100 situps, 100 squats and 10 km ruuning… EVERY SINGLE DAY!?

      Hope he doesn’t go bald

    1. Of course he doesn’t. To him this is like a walk in the park. There is no threat to him here, nothing he can’t easily handle. That’s why he can stay calm and think about what’s happening the same way he would think about what to make for dinner.

As for the Hyumans, he doesn’t really care about them anymore. Not after all the stuff they put him through. He’ll protect them if he can, but won’t shed any tears if they die.

      1. @moridin84

He was upset, not because he had to kill a Hyuman, but because he felt betrayed by the Hyumans. He trusted in them; thought that despite everything they’re still good people. He was even willing to overlook how most of them looked down on him for his looks, or for being level 1, and so on.

Then some of them decided they’re not going to abide by the rules of some stupid Mamono, because being Hyuman makes them better, and ended up hurting and killing those Makoto sees as his own people. That made him decide what he really cares about.

The Merchant Guild was just the last of many straws. They probably took away what little he still cared about Hyumans.

I mean, if you keep seeing so many ugly parts, you will end up disillusioned, and it doesn’t help that Makoto knows that he’s a Human (I’m pretty sure he isn’t Hyuman), which is not the same as Hyuman, so this sort of helps him distance himself from them.

Well, deep down he is a good person whose first instinct is to help others, so he will still help Hyumans if the situation allows it (or because he has another motive), but it’s more along the lines of helping a stray cat get down from a tree. He won’t feel too bad about walking away if it comes down to it.

  33. Makoto saw the Rembrandt sisters’ secret (their appearance when they were cursed). The sisters fell for him.

Makoto found out Eva’s and Ruria’s secret (Eva told him). They fell for him (though they probably still don’t know it).

Makoto found out the Prince(ss)’s secret. If the pattern remains unchanged, she’ll fall for him.

Could it be that Rona also has some secret she’s keeping even from her fellow Demons? 😀

    1. Actually I just thought of something. Makoto saw the Rembrandt sisters’ secret, he heard Eva’s secret and he felt the Princess’ secret. Will he *gasp* TASTE Rona’s secret? 😛

  34. oh! I think the same. Oh boob, you turned on Mio the yandere mode, I hope you can survive.
And about the scream, I think it will be the roar of Hopeplace-kun because of being cornered.

  35. – Hypocrite.

    – Ah, ofc there will be a sudden “plot” twist regarding the Prince, as an excuse to strike fun at the pure, innocence of a certain, boy. Shit.

    – “Even if he is the son of the King, Demon Lord, or Bu–Goddess, I have no intention of helping someone who antagonized this much.” says no one. Ever.

It finally had some bit of action, despite the unnecessary eyecandy.

    Cheers for the chapter.

  36. Oh, so that’s why the older prince couldn’t become a ‘king’ uh?
I would like to finally add a hyuman girl to the harem, but considering that the adventurer girl he saved way back got tossed aside after a bit, I doubt it.

I tried reading the webnovel but its so … weird. The order of the chapters is off or something, I can’t tell what’s what. This is the LN, right? it is quite different after all.

That’s the impression I get, anyway.

Ah, this was a big cliffhanger, I wish we would have gotten a double episode today, but that’s because I’m on a rush for personal reasons.

    1. This is the Wayback version of the WN. The author has made some changes since then so it’s hard to figure out where we are in the story.

    1. Many thanks!

I am finding that i checking in more often, hoping for a the next translation because of the new development.
      ARGH!!

  37. Could it be, *that I don’t understand this world properly yet*?

from what I remember 二本差し it means two sworded or having two swords (depends on which makes more sense to you lol) which refers to samurais
Example: a samurai who wields two (paired?) swords. using a katana to break the opponent’s guard and then using a wakizashi to strike the opening..

since the sentence is omitting a lot of things, I can only litterally translate it as something like this..
“still doesn’t know the significance of two-sworded (samurai)?”

Which could mean Tomoe and/or Root not understanding the meaning of why she has two swords..
I suck at translating stuff though so I could be wrong lol

  38. Makoto, you just copped an accidental feel and easily slew an otherwise unstoppable monster in front of said unintended victim, what’re you gonna do now? XD

    1. Completely reject all possibility of relationship with her, no matter how much she falls in love with him, so he can remain a virgin, like every WN MC should, of course!

Ugh, the said part is that all this is true…

      1. Really? But I think a lot of MCs lose their virginities or start as nonvirgins.

Huh…taking into account all WN ever, I wonder if there are more virgin MCs or nonvirgin MCs?

      2. What about Mushoku Tensei? The protag loses his virginity in that, and that’s one of the most popular web novels ever translated. And I’m sure there are one or two others.

      3. Hajime in Arifureta pops his cherry too, technically speaking Naofumi from tate no yuusha too (I don’t remember well, but I know at least his “clones” do)

  39. 二本差しの意味をまだよく知らないのか

I know little japanese, so it’s just a suggestion.
He was saying maybe he don’t know about some hidden use of that sword “we know he is wrong lol”

    1. He was saying; Maybe he/she (dunno whether the subject refer to Tomoe or Makoto) doesn’t fully understand well the “meaning” of “two sword” (on samurai term when they hold long and short)

  40. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH ! So that was a trap ?! Ah ! What soft and bouncy trap !

Oy, I’m gonna make it fast, I can hear that [Highborn of Little Garden (por…)] running at me ! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH !

Exploding that thing as if nothing when the special forces couldn’t…Shit, I really want to fight you !

  41. Ty 4 the chapter!!!

OMG this novel!!!! I’m in love with this story😚😚😚😚, but I hate so much that all the chapters, all the time, end like this…Like someone let you see a cake 😳😳but you have to wait to take a bite😦, when he let you take a bite and you fall in love with it’s flavour 😍😍😍he doesn’t let you take another bite until some times has passed😱😱😱😱….

    😫😫😫😫You get it?!?!?!?😢😢😢😢

    Ps:
Ty for all the hard work you do to translate this novel…this was only me shouting how much I love reading this story❤️❤️❤️….

  42. So…..I’ve been trying to figure out who dies, since Spoiler-san was so gleeful about it. It hasn’t been easy (or rather, it’s too easy), because of all the multitude of death-flags.

Then I just had a horrible thought:

If Tomoe is busy with the VIPs
    Mio is guarding the students
    Shiki is healing the knights

    Where are Eva and Ruria?

    1. Wait. Just let me… Ok.. This one goes here… This here… And… MUAHAHAHAHAAHAHHA. IT’S ALIVE! IT’S ALIVE!!! Here you go! ( ︶︿︶)_╭∩╮

  43. 二本差しの意味をまだよく知らないのか
Nihonzashi no imi o mada yoku shiranai no ka

Don’t know yet the meaning of using 2 (swords)[?]

just to you know the author is not used to use [?] but in the end [のか] ka[か] most of the times mean a question)

by the way using 2 swords don’t exactly means dual, the long sword for use and the second small for SUICIDE (of course have alot of the uses, it can be used for defense/tecniques or small places to fight for example)

  44. MC is underestimating his own power way too much; He alone is enough to destroy a country; Just throw all the rings+magic coat and made them explode; Chain Reaction will do the rest of the work

  45. “training the Forest Onis and having them sell medicine in the villages around the mountains was possible” nice of them
“if I loosen my magic power suppression, what I am hiding might be discovered.”
doesn’t he have two layers of sakai? why not using one of them or is it necessary to use both to hide that thing
